Description
【0001】

First, when the main power supply of the vehicle is turned on, the weather detection system, which is a weather detection device, determines whether it is daytime in consideration of the country, season, and time information (step S201). This is because it is not known from the time alone whether the brightness is high enough to measure visible light. For example, if it is midsummer in Japan, it is determined that it is daytime even at 6 pm, but if it is midwinter in Japan, it is not determined that it is daytime after 5 pm. If it is not determined in step S201 that it is daytime, the process proceeds to step S211.
