Description
【0001】
【0004】
送受信方式としては、ASK(Amplitude Shift Keying)方式と、FSK(Frequency Shift Keying)方式があり、前者は電磁波の振幅偏移変調により送受信を行い、後者は電磁波の周波数変調により送受信を行う。
【0005】

Conventionally, RFID tags (Radio Frequency IDentification TAGs) are classified into an electromagnetic induction type and an electromagnetic coupling type, and both use non-contact communication with a read / write terminal using an electromagnetic wave.
[0003]
The RFID tag has an antenna coil and a control unit, and when the antenna coil receives a transmission signal from the read / write terminal, the control unit accumulates it in the capacitor as power, and stores the power in the storage unit. The information such as the ID code is transmitted from the antenna coil to the read / write terminal again.
[0004]
As a transmission / reception method, there are an ASK (Amplitude Shift Keying) method and an FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) method. The former performs transmission / reception by amplitude shift modulation of electromagnetic waves, and the latter performs transmission / reception by frequency modulation of electromagnetic waves.
[0005]
When a general RFID tag is divided into antenna coil types, a disc-shaped antenna coil using a circular air-core coil and a cylinder-shaped antenna coil in which an insulation-coated copper wire such as an enamel wire is wound around a rod-shaped ferrite core are used. There are various types, and the outer shape is formed in a disk shape corresponding to the shape of each antenna coil, and the latter is formed in a bar shape.
[0006]
An RFID tag having a disk-shaped antenna coil performs communication using a change in magnetic flux in the surface direction of a circular coil, and an RFID tag having a cylindrical antenna coil performs communication using a change in magnetic flux in the axial direction. .
[0007]
By the way, an electromagnetic wave propagates an alternating electric field and a magnetic field with a phase of 90 degrees. When an alternating magnetic flux due to the magnetic field change intersects with a conductive member such as iron, aluminum, or copper, An eddy current is generated, and a magnetic flux is generated in a direction that cancels the alternating magnetic field by the eddy current.
[0008]
For this reason, the RFID tag has conventionally been installed as far away from the conductive member as possible.
[0009]
In addition, in order to protect the installed RFID tag from external stress or impact, it is necessary to cover the surface side with a protector. However, the RFID tag communicates with the read / write terminal from the outside of the protector. In order to do this, a conductive material that becomes a communication barrier cannot be used as a material for the protector, and a non-conductive material such as plastic is generally used.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since non-conductive materials such as plastics are not so strong, there are many cases where RFID tags cannot be sufficiently protected. For example, when an RFID tag is installed on a metal manhole cover or the like, there is a problem in durability because a traffic load due to the passage of a vehicle or the like is constantly applied.
[0011]
The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems. The object of the present invention is to install it on a conductive member such as metal and to make the surface side of the conductive material such as metal having high strength and durability. It is intended to provide a new RFID tag installation structure capable of communicating with the outside even if covered with a protected body.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Even if the present inventors install the RFID tag on the conductive member, a part of the magnetic flux decreases due to the influence of the conductive member, but the remaining magnetic flux is distributed in the space on the installation surface of the conductive member. In addition, it is possible to communicate with a read / write terminal using the distributed magnetic flux, and even if the surface side of the installed RFID tag is covered with a protective body made of a conductive material When a magnetic flux leakage path composed of a minute gap is formed between the protector and the conductive member, a part of the magnetic flux distributed in the space on the installation surface of the conductive member leaks to the outside. The present invention has been completed based on the knowledge that communication can be performed using leakage magnetic flux.
[0013]
That is, the RFID tag installation structure according to the first aspect of the present invention includes an RFID tag having an antenna coil and a control unit.Externally open surfaceThe structure to be installed inThe RFID tag has a cylindrical antenna coil, is formed in a rod shape as a whole, and performs communication using the ASK method., The RFID tagSaidPlace on the installation surface of the conductive member, cover the surface side of the RFID tag with a protector made of conductive material,At that time, an installation groove is formed on the surface of the conductive member, the RFID tag is arranged with the bottom surface as the installation surface, and the surface side is covered with the plate-shaped protector, or the surface of the conductive member The RFID tag is placed with the mounting surface as the installation surface, and the periphery of the RFID tag is covered with the cap-shaped protective body so that the entire periphery of the RFID tag is covered with the conductive member and the protective body., Between the conductive member and the protectorAnd a narrow gap that enables communication utilizing leakage magnetic flux between the RFID tag and the outside of the protector.A magnetic flux leakage path is formed.
[0014]
According to the above configuration, a part of the magnetic flux emitted from the RFID tag is distributed on the installation surface of the conductive member, which leaks to the outside from the magnetic leakage path, and uses the leakage magnetic flux to external read / write terminals. It can communicate with the machine.
[0015]
Further, the magnetic flux emitted from a transmitting device such as a read / write terminal enters the protection body from the magnetic flux leakage path, and a part thereof is detected by the antenna coil of the RFID tag.
[0016]
Therefore, it is possible to communicate with the outside in a state where the RFID tag is installed on a conductive member and protected by a protector made of a conductive material such as a metal having high mechanical strength.
[0017]
The protective body can be formed of a plate body or a cap body. When the protective body is plate-shaped, the side surface of the RFID tag opposite to the installation surface of the conductive member can be protected, and when the protective body is cap-shaped, the entire surface side of the RFID tag is covered. I can do it.
[0018]
Moreover, an installation groove part can be formed in the said electroconductive member, and the said RFID tag can also be arrange | positioned by making the bottom face of the installation groove part into an installation surface. Even with this configuration, a part of the magnetic flux emitted from the RFID tag or a part of the magnetic flux directed to the RFID tag is distributed in the space of the installation groove portion, and can be communicated through the magnetic flux leakage path using this.
[0019]
In this way, the RFID tag and the protector can be installed so as not to protrude from the installation groove.
[0020]
Further, the protective body is formed by a block body having a storage portion formed on the surface, and the storage portionInsideThe RFID tag is housed in the protective groove, and the protective body can be mounted in the installation groove portion with the storage portion of the protective body facing the installation surface, which is the bottom surface of the installation groove portion of the conductive member.
[0021]
Thus, the storage part of the protectorInsideThe RFID tag can be accurately positioned and installed by storing the RFID tag in the mounting groove portion of the conductive member.
[0022]
In addition, the RFID tag having a cylindrical antenna coil and formed in a rod shape can be arranged with its axial direction parallel to the installation surface of the conductive member and substantially in contact with the installation surface.
[0023]
Even if it is installed in this way, a part of the magnetic flux emitted from the RFID tag or a part of the magnetic flux directed to the RFID tag is distributed in the space of the installation groove portion, and can be communicated through the magnetic flux leakage path using this. .
[0024]
An RFID tag having a cylindrical antenna coil and formed in a rod shape can be extremely miniaturized, so that it can be easily installed even when the installation area allowed for the conductive member is small.
[0025]
In any of the above installation structures, the protective body can be fixed to the conductive member by a fixing means. Thereby, the protector can be stabilized and fixed to the conductive member.
[0026]
Moreover, the said protection body can be fixed to the said electroconductive member through the spacer made from the nonelectroconductive material by the said fixing means. As a result, a magnetic flux leakage path having an arbitrary size can be easily formed.
[0027]
Furthermore, in any of the above installation structures, a buffer member or a heat insulating material made of a non-conductive material can be provided in contact with the RFID tag. As a result, the RFID tag can be effectively protected from external impacts or sudden changes in outside air temperature.
[0028]
Claims6The RFID tag installation method according to the present invention described in 1 is a method in which an RFID tag having an antenna coil and a controller is connected to a conductive memberSurface open to the outsideThe method of installing inThe RFID tag has a cylindrical antenna coil, is formed in a rod shape as a whole, and performs communication using the ASK method.A storage portion is formed on the surface of a protective body made of a block body made of a conductive material;InsideAnd storing the RFID tag inInstall the groove on the surface of the conductive member.Forming the protective body in the installation groove with the storage portion side of the protection body being the bottom side of the installation groove,A magnetic flux leakage path comprising a narrow gap in which the entire periphery of the RFID tag is covered with the conductive member and the protective body and enables communication using the leakage magnetic flux between the RFID tag and the outside of the protective body. Between the storage and the installation grooveInstall the protector in the installation groove so that it is formedDoIt is characterized by that.
[0029]
According to the above installation method, a small-sized RFID tag can be accurately positioned and easily installed in the installation groove provided in the conductive member by using the protector, and the magnetic flux leaks through the magnetic flux leakage path. You can communicate using.

【The invention's effect】
Since the present invention has the above-described configuration and operation, a part of the magnetic flux emitted from the RFID tag is distributed on the installation surface of the conductive member, which leaks to the outside from the magnetic leakage path, and the leakage magnetic flux. Can be used to communicate with external read / write terminals.
[0126]
Further, the magnetic flux emitted from a transmitting device such as a read / write terminal enters the protection body from the magnetic flux leakage path, and a part thereof is detected by the antenna coil of the RFID tag.
[0127]
Therefore, it is possible to communicate with the outside in a state where the RFID tag is installed on a conductive member and protected by a protector made of a conductive material such as a metal having high mechanical strength.
[0128]
In addition, when the protective body is in a plate shape, the side surface of the RFID tag opposite to the installation surface of the conductive member can be protected, and when the protective body is in a cap shape, the entire surface side of the RFID tag can be protected. Can be covered.
[0129]
In addition, even if the installation groove part is formed in the conductive member and the RFID tag is arranged with the bottom surface of the installation groove part as the installation surface, part of the magnetic flux emitted from the RFID tag or part of the magnetic flux directed to the RFID tag is installed. It is distributed in the space of the groove portion, and communication can be performed through the magnetic flux leakage path by using it.
[0130]
In this way, the RFID tag and the protector can be installed so as not to protrude from the installation groove.
[0131]
In addition, the protection body is formed by a block body having a storage portion formed on the surface, the RFID tag is stored in the storage portion, and the storage portion of the protection body is opposed to the installation surface side formed by the bottom surface of the installation groove portion of the conductive member. When the protective body is mounted and installed in the installation groove in a state where the RFID tag is placed, the RFID tag can be accurately positioned and installed.
[0132]
Further, when an RFID tag having a cylindrical antenna coil and formed into a rod shape is adopted, the size can be extremely reduced, so that the installation can be easily performed even when the installation area allowed for the conductive member is small.
[0133]
Further, when the protector is fixed to the conductive member by the fixing means via the spacer made of a non-conductive material, a magnetic flux leakage path of any size can be easily formed.
[0134]
Further, in the case where a buffer member or a heat insulating material made of a non-conductive material is provided in contact with the RFID tag, the RFID tag can be effectively protected from an external impact or a sudden change in the outside air temperature.
[0135]
Further, according to the RFID tag installation method according to the present invention, a small-sized RFID tag can be accurately positioned in the installation groove provided in the conductive member using a protector, and can be easily installed. Communication can be performed using magnetic flux leaking through the magnetic flux leakage path.
