Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a disk chuck mechanism, and more particularly, as a disk drive mechanism of a magnetic disk inspection apparatus, suitable for chucking a thin disk having a small diameter and stable even when the disk is rotated at high speed. The present invention relates to a small-sized disc chuck mechanism that can perform the above.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Magnetic disks and optical disks used for information storage are inspected by a disk inspection device for physical defects in the storage medium and the quality of its electrical storage performance. This type of inspection apparatus is provided with a spindle and its rotation mechanism, and a disk to be inspected is chucked and rotated by a chuck mechanism provided at the head of the spindle.
In the initial stage, the disk was mounted on the chuck mechanism by hand. However, in response to the automation of inspection, the disk is now automatically mounted by a robot hand, and a disk chuck mechanism adapted to this is used. .
[0003]
4A and 4B show typical examples of a conventional disk chuck mechanism that can be automatically mounted. FIG. 4A shows a chuck ring, that is, a so-called C-ring at a conical position below the head H. FIG. An elastic ring r is attached. When the head H is raised, the diameter of the elastic ring r is reduced. In this state, the

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
FIG. 4A shows a chuck mechanism suitable for high-speed rotation, but recent discs are becoming smaller and thinner. In addition, the rotational speed has been further increased. For this reason, in the disc chuck mechanism as described above, the disc is likely to be distorted. In particular, in a small-sized disk that rotates at high speed, harmful vibrations are generated in the disk due to positional deviation with respect to the spindle.
In order to avoid such a situation, the applicant has proposed a disc chuck mechanism using a C-ring as Japanese Patent Application No. 9-90202 “disc chuck mechanism”. The outline is shown in FIG.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve such problems, and is a disc chuck mechanism suitable for chucking a thin disc having a small thickness and capable of performing a stable chuck even when the disc is rotated at a high speed. It is to provide.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, the disc chuck mechanism according to the present invention is characterized in that a part of the elastic ring member having a part that protrudes conically on an inclined surface provided on the inner side is provided. by engaging an inclined surface that protrudes Jo an enlarged diameter of the ring member by causing along the inclined surface the projected disk chucking by pressing the central opening side or the circumferential surface of the disk, the projecting In the disc chuck mechanism that releases the disc by reducing the diameter of the ring member along the inclined surface, the ring member includes a ring portion having a groove in the vertical direction and an enlarged ring member mounted on the ring portion. And a spring urging in the direction of reducing the diameter.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Thus, according to the present invention, since the ring portion has a groove in the vertical direction, the elasticity of the ring portion in the direction of expanding or shrinking the diameter is lowered. As a result, the elasticity of the spring acting in the contracting direction can be reduced. In addition, since the grooves are formed in the vertical direction, the elastic force against the force applied from the vertical direction perpendicular to the circumferential surface direction hardly decreases. Accordingly, even when a large force is applied from the upper part, the ring portion is prevented from being deformed, and the force converted in the horizontal direction for pressing the disc can be made uniform.
In addition, since both the elasticity of the ring portion and the elasticity of the spring are reduced, variation in friction with the inner inclined surface is reduced. Thereby, even if the force for pushing down the spring is reduced, a large force can be generated in the side surface direction. Therefore, variation in the pressing force on the disk is reduced.
As a result, even if a pressing force is applied to the ring member in accordance with the maximum value of the friction variation or more, the difference from the minimum value of the friction variation is small and a small pressing force is applied. Even so, there is little distortion and it is possible to perform chucking reliably. Naturally, misalignment hardly occurs.

As described above, in the embodiment, an example is given in which the inner surface of the disk is pressed and chucked. A chuck mechanism of the type as shown in FIG.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, since the ring portion has a groove in the vertical direction, the elasticity of the ring portion in the direction of expanding or shrinking the diameter decreases.
As a result, even a thin disk has little distortion and can be surely chucked. Naturally, misalignment hardly occurs.
