Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicular electronic control device, and more particularly to a vehicular electronic control device configured to be shared even if it has a different control function for each vehicle type or specification.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, an electronic control unit (ECU) for various controls in a vehicle is designed separately for each vehicle type. Further, even in the same vehicle type, the control content is often different due to the difference in specifications. Therefore, the number of ECU types tends to increase in a matrix manner by the number of vehicle types and specifications.
[0003]
In view of such a tendency, conventionally, various attempts have been made to reduce the production cost by reducing the types of ECUs for the number of vehicle types and specifications. For example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-85284, two input ports for switching functions are provided in an ECU having all functions corresponding to a plurality of vehicle types or specifications, and a wire harness connected to the two input ports is disclosed. Inside, both ports are selectively opened or shorted so that the ECU function can be selected according to the vehicle type or specifications.
[0004]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-36048 discloses a control program and control data that are common to all vehicle types or specifications, and is composed of a non-rewritable memory such as a mask ROM. A method of reducing the cost by applying a single microcomputer to many vehicle types or specifications by using a rewritable memory such as an EEPROM or a flash ROM to make the microcomputer common is disclosed. .
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, with such a conventional method, even if the purpose of reducing the type of ECU can be achieved, it is necessary to add special parts, circuits, and the like to achieve that purpose, which does not drastically reduce costs. . In particular, in the former example, the number of types of ECUs can be reduced, but the number of types of vehicle harnesses increases, and an input circuit for identification must be additionally provided in the ECU, which increases the cost. There is a problem of becoming. On the other hand, in the latter example, adding a rewritable memory to the ECU causes an increase in cost. Further, in order to effectively reduce the types of ECUs, it is necessary to write a control program and control data according to the vehicle type or specifications in a rewritable memory after the ECU is mounted on the vehicle or immediately before the ECU is mounted. There is a problem that the cost of the equipment or apparatus for it is high.
[0006]
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention diverts an existing configuration to a plurality of vehicle types or specifications requiring different control functions without adding or using special parts, circuits, facilities, etc. The purpose is to drastically reduce the production cost by making it common and reducing its model.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object of the present application, an electronic control device for a vehicle according to the present invention includes an electronic control unit that controls the vehicle according to various parameters, and an actuator that is connected to an output terminal of the electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is provided to the microcomputer, a drive circuit for supplying a signal for driving the actuator to the output terminal of the electronic control unit according to the output signal of the microcomputer, and the output terminal of the electronic control unit In the vehicle electronic control device composed of a self-diagnosis input circuit connected to a microcomputer for monitoring the signal, the actuator is selectively connected to the output terminal of the electronic control unit according to the difference in vehicle type or specification, The microcomputer is at least the vehicle model to which the actuator is connected. Or a first control program for the specification and a second control program for the vehicle model or specification to which the actuator is not connected. The microcomputer is an electronic control unit according to the signal from the self-diagnosis input circuit. If it is determined that it is connected, the first control program is selected, and if it is determined that it is not connected, the second control program is selected to control the vehicle. It is configured.
[0008]
Therefore, whether or not the vehicle on which the ECU is mounted is a vehicle type or specification that performs control using a specific actuator, using the monitoring result of the existing self-diagnosis input circuit without adding a new circuit or device. Is easily determined, and a control program is appropriately selected according to the determination result. That is, an ECU can be shared between a vehicle equipped with a specific control actuator and a vehicle not equipped, and the production cost can be reduced by reducing the ECU type.
[0009]
Further, the present invention is applied in order to share an ECU that controls the shift of an automatic transmission with a plurality of vehicle types or specifications. In particular, in an automatic transmission that can selectively incorporate a four-wheel drive transfer clutch, the ECU is applied by detecting whether or not the control solenoid for operating the transfer clutch is connected to the ECU. It is judged whether it is an automatic transmission for a two-wheel drive vehicle or an automatic transmission for a four-wheel drive vehicle incorporating a transfer clutch, and an appropriate automatic transmission control program corresponding to each is selected. is there.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 to 5, an example in which the present invention is applied to sharing of an electronic control unit for an automatic transmission will be described. In particular, an electronic control unit for an automatic transmission that incorporates control of a transfer clutch that enables four-wheel drive traveling can also be applied as an electronic control unit for an automatic transmission in a two-wheel drive vehicle that does not have a transfer clutch. The case will be described. Although FIG. 2 shows an automatic transmission for a four-wheel drive vehicle, it includes all the essential components of an automatic transmission for a two-wheel drive vehicle. A detailed configuration of the double automatic transmission will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0028]
As described above, the circuit configuration for sharing the same automatic transmission ECU between a four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with a 4WD solenoid and a two-wheel drive vehicle equipped without a 4-WD solenoid, and an identification program for the two-wheel drive vehicle and the four-wheel drive vehicle Although the embodiment has been described, the present invention is not limited to this. In particular, the transfer clutch drive circuit may have any circuit configuration as long as it drives a 4WD solenoid in response to a control signal from a microcomputer, and the self-diagnosis input circuit also determines the output voltage of the transfer clutch drive circuit. Any circuit configuration may be used as long as it is to be detected. FIG. 6 shows another example. In this case, when the output voltage from the microcomputer to the transistor of the transfer clutch drive circuit is high, if the self-diagnosis input is low, the four-wheel drive connected to the 4WD solenoid is connected. If the self-diagnosis input is high level, it is determined that the 4WD solenoid is not connected and the vehicle is a two-wheel drive vehicle. In FIG. 6, parts corresponding to the respective components shown in FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
[0029]
Further, in the present embodiment, the sharing of the automatic transmission ECU is described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and any engine mounted on the vehicle, such as an ECU for engine control, an ECU for traction control, or the like. The same applies to the ECU. In that case, the signal to the drive circuit of the actuator that is used on one of a plurality of vehicle types or specifications to be shared by the ECU and not used on the other side and the signal from the self-diagnosis input circuit depends on those vehicle types or specifications. Are used to properly select different control programs.
[0030]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the electronic control device for a vehicle according to the present invention, a vehicle on which the ECU is mounted can be obtained by using the monitoring result of an existing self-diagnosis input circuit without adding a new circuit, device or the like. It is easily determined whether or not the vehicle type or the specification performs control using a specific actuator, and the control program is appropriately selected according to the determination result. As a result, the ECU can be shared between a vehicle equipped with a specific control actuator and a vehicle not equipped, and the production cost can be reduced by reducing the ECU type.
[0031]
Further, when the vehicle electronic control device according to the present invention is applied to an ECU for controlling the shift of an automatic transmission capable of selectively incorporating a four-wheel drive transfer clutch according to the vehicle type or specification, the transfer By detecting whether or not a control solenoid for operating the clutch is connected to the ECU, the automatic transmission to which the ECU is applied is for a two-wheel drive vehicle or a four-wheel drive vehicle incorporating a transfer clutch The appropriate automatic transmission control program corresponding to each is selected. As a result, the ECU can be shared between the automatic transmission for a two-wheel drive vehicle and the automatic transmission for a four-wheel drive vehicle.
