Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a jig used for evaluating from the appearance whether a butt weld of a pipe made of stainless steel or the like is correctly welded .
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a stainless steel pipe is used as a pipe for supplying a semiconductor manufacturing gas used for manufacturing a semiconductor to a manufacturing apparatus or equipment, and among them, a stainless steel pipe having a small thickness is particularly used. And for the joint of these pipes, butt welding by non-filler automatic TIG (TIG) welding that can be welded with high reproducibility is generally performed.
[0003]
However, as the appearance of the welded portion of the butt joint after the pipe is welded, it is desired that the welded portion surface and the pipe surface be continuous and have a welded appearance with no unevenness. In particular, on the inner surface of the welded portion of the pipe, it is important that the back surface of the welded portion and the inner wall surface of the pipe are flat.
This is because when butt welding, more heat than necessary is applied to the weld, and there are convex portions on the back wave surface of the weld, the weld metal has reached the inner wall of the pipe more than necessary. As shown in the figure, very fine metal powder called fume is generated in the pipe from the weld metal, and particles are generated when the gas always hits the convex portion, which becomes a source of gas contamination. These welds also have a problem that corrosion occurs in a wide range because there are weld metals having low corrosion resistance and heat-affected zones.
[0004]
On the other hand, when the heat is insufficient, the weld metal does not reach the inner wall surface of the pipe, and there may be a recess due to the clearance between the butted parts of the pipe and the pipe. In this case, these concave portions become dead spaces, dust particles accumulate, and the accumulated particles are accompanied by the gas supply and distribution, causing a problem of contaminating the gas. Also, when using corrosive gas for semiconductor manufacturing, if there is a dead space as described above, crevice corrosion is likely to occur, and the metal corrosion products generated by this crevice corrosion will peel off and contaminate the gas. There was a problem that.
Furthermore, when a concave portion is formed on the inner wall surface of the pipe as described above, welding is insufficient and it does not have a predetermined strength. Therefore, depending on the size of the concave portion, there is a risk of fracture due to some stress load. .
[0005]
For this reason, it has been performed to check the presence or absence of the above-described problem of the welded portion in the butt welded portion after the pipe is welded. As a check method, prior to butt welding, the same type of sample pipe was previously welded under common welding conditions, the pipe was cut, and the front bead width Wa and the back bead width Wb were measured. Was. Specifically, when the width Wb of the back wave necessary for appropriate welding is Wb1 ≦ Wb ≦ Wb2 (Wb1 <Wb2), the beat width Wa in the table is Wa1 ≦ Wa ≦ Wa2 (Wa1 <Wa2). The data on the correlation between the back bead width Wb and the front bead width Wa is collected. And these correlations are different for each position (top surface, both side surfaces, bottom surface) of the butt welds along the circumference of the pipe, depending on the diameter, thickness, and material of the pipe used. It was collected.
[0006]
Then, by confirming that the front bead width Wa is in the range of Wa1 to Wa2, it was indirectly determined by reading the collected data that the bead width Wb of the back wave was Wb1 to Wb2. . Specifically, a caliper or the like is applied to the butt weld, and it is measured whether the front bead width Wa is within a predetermined size range, and the appropriate table is obtained to obtain an appropriate back bead width Wb. Whether or not the bead width Wa is reached is determined based on the above-described correlation data.
[0007]
However, the vernier caliper used for measurement has a thickness at the end face of the measuring needle, and measurement with an accuracy of 0.2 mm is difficult. In addition, in the on-site piping, the butt welded portion is at a high place or on the back surface of the apparatus, so that the measurement operation is difficult and accurate measurement is difficult. In addition, the data collected as described above are the diameter, thickness, material of the pipe, and on each of these different pipes, at each of several welds along the pipe butt welded, They differ from each other, and therefore there are a lot of target data to be collated, and considerable time and man-hours are required for the confirmation work.
[0008]
Further, for some reason, the butt weld end face 51 (P12) of the pipes P1 and P2 and the welding electrode (not shown) are welded at the time of welding as in the butt welding state shown in FIG. Even when the
[0009]
Furthermore, when the axis of one pipe connected by butt welding and the other pipe is shifted (center misalignment), a step may be generated on the inner wall surface of the butt weld portion of the connected pipe. Thus, if a step is generated on the inner wall surface of the welded portion, the welding conditions of the butt welded portion will be partially different, and the weld metal will reach the inner wall surface in that part of the welded portion, and the welded portion in the other part There is a problem that metal does not reach the inner wall at all, and welding states that differ depending on the welding position of the welded part are formed, and problems such as contamination of supply gas due to particle entrainment, crevice corrosion, etc., as described above Was supposed to occur.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a pipe which is connected with reliably butt welding without weld defects, misalignment of butt welds, the misalignment of weld pipes, conveniently Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to obtain a welding part determination jig that can be inspected quickly and accurately.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

【The invention's effect】
The welding part determination jig of the present invention includes either (1) a length distance measurement confirmation scale part (w part) and (2) a misalignment detection part (x part) at the position of the marking line. Thus, the length from the end face of the pipe at the position of the marking line marked on the pipe can be easily confirmed. Moreover, it is possible to easily prevent the occurrence of defects in the weld due to misalignment.
Furthermore, since the presence or absence of weld defects can be confirmed very accurately, the weld defect portion is reduced, contamination of the supply gas due to the weld defects is prevented, and particularly semiconductor manufacturing in which impurities such as extremely small amounts of fine particles are not preferred. As a piping for supplying the working gas, it has a very remarkable effect.
