Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a body frame structure of a motorcycle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a body frame structure of a motorcycle, for example, JP-A-7-112687 “Frame structure in a motorcycle or the like” is known.
According to FIG. 5 of the publication, the above-described technique is such that the
For this reason, the front part of the body frame 11 has high rigidity.
[0003]
Moreover, according to FIG.5 and FIG.6 of the gazette of the said technique, the descent | fall part of the inverted L-shaped main pipe 16 (the number quoted what was described in the gazette. The intermediate portions of the two upper and
For this reason, the descent | fall part 16c is the structure reinforced with the
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional technique described above has a large rigidity at the front portion of the body frame 11 and a large rigidity at the rear portion of the body frame 11. For this reason, the amplitude of vibration transmitted from the road surface through the front wheel to the front portion of the vehicle body frame 11 having high rigidity and the amplitude of vibration transmitted from the road surface through the rear wheel and the swing arm to the rear portion of the vehicle body frame 11 are: Often not significantly different. As a result, when a resonance action occurs in the vehicle body frame 11, the vibration is amplified, and even in that case, it is required to maintain the riding comfort of the motorcycle.
In order to further improve the riding comfort of the motorcycle having such a configuration, in order to suppress the resonance action of the body frame 11, the structure becomes complicated and heavy.
[0005]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for further enhancing the riding comfort of a motorcycle with a body frame having a light weight and a simple configuration.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, a main pipe extends rearward from the head pipe, a single center pipe is suspended from the rear of the main pipe, a down tube is suspended from the head pipe, and the down tube In the single cradle type vehicle body frame, in which the lower pipe is extended rearward from the lower part and the rear part of the lower pipe is joined to the lower part of the center pipe, only the head pipe, the main pipe, and the down tube are connected by a reinforcing member . together, said center pipe breadth as a large cross section uniform square pipe is positioned in the vehicle width center, not cross the plan view forked swing arm to the square pipe, pivot the swing arm and the center pipe And swing the swing arm up and down on the center pipe. Characterized in that the rolling rotatably supported.
[0007]
The head pipe, the main pipe, and the down tube are rigid structures connected by a reinforcing member. On the other hand, since the center pipe is not reinforced, it is a flexible structure that can be elastically deformed substantially uniformly and flexibly.
For this reason, the amplitude of vibration transmitted from the road surface through the front wheels to the front part of the body frame having high rigidity (consisting of the head pipe, main pipe and down tube), and from the road surface through the rear wheels, swing arms and pivots. Therefore, the amplitude of vibration transmitted to the rear part of the vehicle body frame (consisting of a center pipe and a lower pipe) having a relatively small rigidity is greatly different. As a result, since the body frame does not resonate, vibration is not amplified.
Further, since the center pipe is not reinforced, the body frame is simple in construction and light in weight.
For this reason, the ride comfort of the motorcycle can be further enhanced with a light and simple body frame.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the step bracket is fastened together with the pivot.
By fastening the step bracket together with the pivot, there are fewer parts to install and the installation can be simplified.

【The invention's effect】
The present invention exhibits the following effects by the above configuration.
In the first aspect, the main pipe is extended rearward from the head pipe, the center pipe is suspended from the rear portion of the main pipe, the down tube is suspended from the head pipe, and the lower pipe is extended rearward from the lower portion of the down tube. In the single cradle type vehicle body frame formed by joining the rear part of the lower pipe to the lower part of the center pipe, only the head pipe, the main pipe and the down tube are connected by a reinforcing member, and the center pipe has a large lateral width. The square pipe has a uniform cross section, and a swing arm is attached only to the square pipe.
[0032]
