Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a mold molding method in which a molten glass block (hereinafter referred to as “gob”) supplied to a female mold is press-molded with a male mold, and is molded into a glass molded product such as a TV cathode ray tube and a CRT panel or a funnel. The present invention relates to a plunger support mechanism of the apparatus.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The gob is supplied to the bottom mold (female mold), the plunger (male mold) arranged above the bottom mold is moved downward by the lifting device, and the gob in the bottom mold is pressed by the plunger. There is known a molding apparatus that press-molds glass products. In such a molding apparatus, if the plunger and the bottom mold are displaced from each other, the thickness of the glass product to be produced may vary, or the plunger and the bottom mold may interfere with each other. Therefore, it is necessary to align the plunger with the bottom mold.
[0003]
Accordingly, the applicant of the present application holds the plunger flange provided at the upper portion of the plunger in a floating state, thereby supporting the plunger so as to be movable in the horizontal direction, and the bottom of the plunger by the key and the key groove. A plunger support mechanism has been proposed in which the mold is guided to enable alignment with the bottom mold.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the plunger support mechanism, as shown in FIG. 23A, even if the
[0005]
However, in the plunger support mechanism, the rod 6 of the lifting device is also elastically deformed (inclined) following the correction movement of the
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and it is possible to stably prevent a glass molded product from cracking or chipping and to stably produce a high-quality glass molded product.pressAn object of the present invention is to provide a plunger support mechanism of a molding apparatus that can be molded.
[0007]
[Means for solving the problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a bottom mold into which a molten glass lump is supplied, and a molten glass in the bottom mold by being disposed above the bottom mold and moved downward. A plunger that press-molds the lump and press-molds it into a glass product, and a floating support that supports the plunger movably in the horizontal direction by holding the plunger flange provided at the top of the plunger in a floating state And a lifting / lowering device that moves the plunger up and down via the floating support portion, wherein the floating support portion is swingably supported with respect to the lifting device. It is characterized by.
[0008]
The present invention pays attention to the point that the cause of cracks and chipping in the glass molded product is that the restoring force of the lifting device is transmitted to the plunger through the floating support when the plunger is pulled up from the bottom mold. In order to prevent this cause, the floating support portion is swingably supported with respect to the lifting device.
As a result, the restoring force of the lifting device when the plunger is pulled up is absorbed by the swinging operation and is not transmitted to the floating support, so that the plunger is centered on the bottom mold, that is, swinged by the swinging means. It is moved up and tilted. Therefore, the glass molded product is not cracked or chipped.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a center restoring device is provided in the floating support portion, and the axis center of the plunger is aligned with the axis center of the floating support portion by this center restoring device.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, a non-contact type center restoring device is adopted as the center restoring device, and the shaft center of the plunger is aligned with the shaft center of the floating support portion in a non-contact manner. As described above, when the shaft alignment is performed in a non-contact manner, wear of the plunger flange can be prevented as compared with a contact-type shaft alignment mechanism, so that the shaft alignment can be performed accurately.
[0010]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a floating support portion is suspended and supported by a lifting device by a plurality of hanger members, and the floating support portion is swingably supported by a spherical bearing provided on these hanger members. . Thereby, the floating support portion swings smoothly with respect to the lifting device.
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the swinging operation can be performed by a ball joint, whereby the floating support portion swings smoothly with respect to the lifting device.
[0011]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, the swinging operation is enabled by the viscous fluid resistance of the viscous fluid device, whereby the floating support portion swings smoothly with respect to the lifting device by the viscous resistance of the viscous fluid. .
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, the floating support portion is held at a predetermined swing position by the posture holding means, and the plunger is centered on the bottom mold, that is, the swing means is swung by the swing means. If the tilted state is moved and held by the posture holding means, the plunger is pulled up while the tilted state is maintained, so that cracks and chips generated in the glass molded product can be reliably prevented.
[0012]
According to the eighth aspect of the invention, by attaching a weight member to the floating support portion, the floating support portion is swung with respect to the lifting device so that the axis of the plunger is aligned with the axis of the bottom mold in advance. It is a thing. As a result, the plunger press-molds the gob in a state that matches the axis of the bottom mold, and when it is pulled up, it is pulled up in a state that also matches the axis of the bottom mold. Will not crack or chip.
[0013]
According to the ninth aspect of the present invention, a center restoring device is provided in the floating support portion, and by this center restoring device, compressed air is supplied to the peripheral surface of the plunger flange, and the axis of the plunger is made the axis of the floating support portion. It is made to match without contact. As described above, when the shaft alignment is performed in a non-contact manner, wear of the plunger flange can be prevented as compared with a contact-type shaft alignment mechanism, so that the shaft alignment can be performed accurately.
[0014]
According to a tenth aspect of the present invention, a self-formed throttle nozzle is formed in the floating support portion, and compressed air is supplied from the self-formed throttle nozzle to hold the plunger flange in a floating state. Adopting the self-made throttle nozzle in this way increases the degree of freedom of air pressure adjustment compared to the capillary throttle nozzle, and also prevents the plunger flange from self-excited vibration, so the plunger flange is balanced. It can be supported in a well-floating state.
[0015]
The invention according to claim 11 is such that the plunger is swingably supported with respect to the plunger flange.
As a result, the restoring force of the lifting device when the plunger is pulled up is absorbed by the swinging motion of the plunger flange relative to the plunger and is not transmitted to the plunger, so that the plunger is centered in the bottom mold. It is raised at. Therefore, the glass molded product is not cracked or chipped.
