Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention includes a control device that suppresses the influence of a disturbance on a control target, and an optical (magnetic) disk such as a CD (Compact Disc), an MD (Mini Disc), or a DVD (Digital Video Disc). The present invention relates to an optical disc apparatus that performs reproduction and / or recording.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, due to the development of optical disc technology, optical disc apparatuses have been used in various situations, and are often used while being carried not only indoors but also outdoors. Along with this, vibrations and shocks applied to the optical disk apparatus from the outside have become a serious problem.
In a conventional optical disk device, for example, in a non-stationary state such as a portable CD player and a vehicle-mounted CD player, due to various disturbances such as vibrations and shocks generated by the movement, There has been a situation in which the focus servo that is the focus control or the tracking servo that is the track following control is disconnected.
[0003]
In order to solve such problems, portable CD players and portable MD players are equipped with an external storage device called a shock proof memory, and once information is stored in the memory at a high speed, playback is performed. A method of reading information at a speed is employed. With this method, even if the servo is lost, if the impact is about several seconds, it is possible for the user to hear the sound skipping.
In addition, the in-vehicle CD player has a structure in which vibration is not transmitted to the CD player by wrapping with an impact absorbing material.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the method for reducing the influence of vibration due to disturbance as described above, external hardware parts are required, so there is a problem that the cost of parts rises, and the problem that the application of the hardware parts is not easy. There is also.
In addition, the range of application is limited by the characteristics of the external hardware. For example, in the method using a shock proof memory, the reproduction signal is temporarily stored in the memory, so that it can be applied to a recordable optical (magnetic) disk device. There wasn't.
Further, the method of wrapping an in-vehicle CD player with an impact absorbing material cannot be applied to a portable CD player or the like that is required to be downsized because the whole size increases.
[0005]
Recently, high-speed CD-ROMs for computers have been widely used, but the influence of vibrations generated by a high-speed motor on actuators including optical systems cannot be ignored.
In addition, when the influence of vibration due to disturbance is reduced by software without using hardware, the amount of calculation processing increases, but due to the problem of parts cost, a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) with insufficient processing speed is used. However, since the number of arithmetic processes that can be executed per unit time is limited, there is a problem that the control apparatus often cannot be applied.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the circumstances as described above. In the first invention, there is no need to add an external hardware component, and an object of the present invention is to provide a control device that is hardly affected by disturbance. And
It is an object of the second invention to provide a control device that does not need to add external hardware components and is less susceptible to disturbance by software processing with a small number of calculation processes per unit time.
In the third invention, an object is to provide an optical disk device including the control device according to the first and second inventions.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A control device according to a first aspect of the present invention includes a deviation generating unit that generates a deviation between a target signal to be output by a control target affected by a disturbance and an output signal output by the control target, a PID controller based on the deviation, / or a control device and a more said control section for outputting an operation signal to be given to the controlled object to a phase lead / lag compensator increase the gain of the low-frequency region including the influence of the disturbance of the operation signal The low-frequency gain increasing unit that should give the operation signal with the gain increased to the control target is provided between the control unit and the control target so as to suppress the influence of the disturbance on the control target. It is characterized by that.
[0008]
In this control device, the deviation generation unit generates a deviation between the target signal to be output by the control target affected by the disturbance and the output signal output by the control target, and the control unit generates a PID controller and a / or outputs an operation signal to more given to the control target phase lead / lag compensator. The low-frequency gain increasing unit provided between the control unit and the control target increases the gain in the low-frequency region including the influence of the disturbance of the operation signal, and gives the control signal an operation signal with the gain increased, It is configured to suppress the influence of disturbance on the controlled object.
As a result, it is not necessary to add external hardware components, and a control device that is hardly affected by disturbance can be realized.
[0009]
A control device according to a second aspect of the present invention further includes an output signal given to the deviation generation unit or an A / D converter that performs analog / digital conversion on the deviation, and the control unit and the low-frequency gain increase unit include the A / D converter. The D converter is characterized in that it is adapted to process a digital signal subjected to analog / digital conversion.
[0010]
In this control device, the A / D converter performs analog / digital conversion on the output signal or deviation given to the deviation generation unit, and the control unit and the low-frequency gain increase unit perform analog / digital conversion on the A / D converter. Since it is configured to process digital signals, it is not necessary to add external hardware components, and a control device that is not easily affected by disturbance is realized by software processing with a small number of arithmetic processing per unit time. I can do it.
[0011]
An optical disc apparatus according to a third aspect of the present invention includes the control device according to
[0012]
Since this optical disk apparatus includes the control device according to claim 1 and is configured so that the optical pickup is controlled by the control device, there is no need to add an external hardware component. In addition, an optical disk device including a control device that is hardly affected by disturbances that drive and control the optical pickup can be realized.
[0013]
FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing a general feedback control system. This feedback control system calculates the deviation between the output signal output from the
[0014]
In order to improve the characteristics of such a feedback control system, the following three points are improved in general open loop characteristics (when feedback coupling of the feedback control system is removed) as shown in the Bode diagram of FIG. Just do it.
1. Steady state characteristic: In the open loop characteristic, the low frequency gain (gain) is increased.
2. Fast response: The open loop characteristics have a large zero cross frequency. However, if it is too large, it becomes susceptible to noise, so it cannot be made larger than necessary.
3. Stability: In the open loop characteristics, the phase margin at the zero cross frequency is set to an appropriate value.
[0015]
The characteristics of the feedback control system can be improved by designing a PID controller, a phase lead / lag compensator, and the like and inserting them into the control system. However, in these PID controllers and phase lead / lag compensators, the maximum value of the gain in the low frequency region is determined with respect to a certain zero cross frequency. Therefore, in the zero cross frequency set low for noise countermeasures, etc. In some cases, a sufficient low frequency gain cannot be obtained.
On the other hand, in order to obtain a sufficient gain in the low frequency region, it is necessary to set the zero cross frequency high, but this makes the system vulnerable to noise. In other words, steady state characteristics and rapid response may not be improved at the same time.
[0016]
Therefore, a method of obtaining a large gain in the low frequency region while fixing the zero cross frequency is considered. That is, it is considered to insert a block (transfer element) that increases the gain only in the low frequency region so as not to affect the zero cross frequency and the phase margin as much as possible.
For this purpose, as shown in FIG. 6A, a block (low-frequency gain increasing unit 5) having a frequency response in which the gain gradually decreases as the frequency becomes higher in the low-frequency region is shown in FIG. In addition, it may be inserted between the control unit 1 and the
[0017]
Normally, as shown in FIG. 6B, the HPF (High Pass Filter) has a frequency response in which the gain gradually increases as the frequency increases in the low frequency region, and therefore, the HPF transfer function G H (s) = When the reciprocal of s / (s + 2πf) (where f is the cut-off frequency) is taken to be G (s) = 1 / GH (s) = (s + 2πf) / s, the transfer function G (s) is as shown in FIG. It is considered to have a frequency response as shown in (a).
[0018]
8 and 9 show a control system (FIG. 7) having a configuration in which the low-frequency
In the conventional control system, low frequency gain = 855.3287 dB, zero cross frequency = 2.9926 kHz, and phase margin = 44.4394 deg.
On the other hand, in the control system in which the low frequency
[0019]
Thus, by appropriately selecting the cut-off frequency f, the low-frequency gain can be greatly increased without substantially changing the zero-cross frequency and the phase margin. As a result, a great effect is exhibited in suppressing the steady characteristics and disturbance generated in this frequency band, and improving the follow-up force with respect to the disk runout (vertical distortion) and eccentricity (radial distortion). In addition, since it can be realized by increasing the processing amount for one primary digital filter, the possibility of being applicable to a control device having a low DSP processing speed is expanded.
In practical use, it can be easily realized by bilinearly transforming the transfer function of the low-frequency
