Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a disk device in which a CD, a DVD, or a small-diameter SCD or the like is transported by a transport means, and more particularly, to a disk device that makes it possible to identify the diameter of a disk during transport.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the disk apparatus, it is necessary to identify the diameter of the disk in a disk apparatus into which both a large-diameter disk having a diameter of 12 cm and a small-diameter disk having a diameter of 8 cm are inserted. In order to identify the diameter of the disk, a plurality of optical detection means are arranged and the detection outputs of the respective optical detection means are combined to identify the diameter of the disk.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the disk apparatus provided with a plurality of optical detection means as described above, the cost of parts becomes high.
Further, in the disk device in which a plurality of optical detectors are fixed in the apparatus for identifying the diameter as described above, in addition to the optical detector for identifying the diameter, the disk is inserted from the insertion port. Therefore, it is necessary to separately provide a detection element for detecting that the is inserted, which increases the number of detection elements and further increases the component cost.
[0004]
Conventionally, only the diameter of the loaded disc is identified, and the disc to be ejected is not identified. Therefore, if the power is turned off while a disk is loaded, the type of the disk loaded in the disk device becomes unclear, and there is a drawback that the unloading operation according to the difference in diameter cannot be performed.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a disk device capable of identifying the diameter of a disk being transported without providing a large number of detection elements.
[0006]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a disk device capable of both discriminating the diameter of a disk being passed and detecting the insertion of a disk with a common detection element.
[0007]
A further object of the present invention is to provide a disk device capable of identifying the diameter of the disk during the unloading operation.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The disc device according to the present invention has a conveying means for carrying the disc inserted from the insertion port into the inside of the device, and an edge portion of the disc that is positioned between the insertion port and the conveying unit and is inserted from the insertion port. Crossing direction with insertion directionAnd away from each otherMovedFirstDetection memberAnd second detection memberWhen,

The detection output switches to the thirdA sensing element;
When it is detected by the first detection element and the second detection element that at least one of the first detection member and the second detection member has moved away from the initial position.The conveying meansTo disk loading directionStartThe first sensing element, the second sensing element, and the third sensing element after the conveying means is started.Sensing elementWhether a large-diameter disc is inserted or a small-diameter disc is inserted based on the combination of detection outputsA control unit for identification;
Is provided.
[0009]
In the above means, the disk is transported between the insertion slot and the disk drive mechanism, or the disk is transported between the insertion slot and the disk storage unit for temporarily storing the disk.
[0010]
With this means, the movement of the detection member can detect the insertion of the disk from the insertion slot, start the conveying means, and identify the diameter of the disk passing by the detection member. Therefore, it is not necessary to separately provide a detecting means for starting the conveying means and a detecting means for identifying the diameter of the disc, and the structure in the apparatus can be simplified.
[0011]
Further, the disk device of the present invention includes a disk drive mechanism in which a disk is loaded, and a conveying means for carrying out the disk from the disk drive mechanism,
The direction crossing the unloading direction at the edge of the disk unloaded by the transport meansAnd away from each otherMoved toFirstDetection memberAnd second detection memberWhen,
The disk to be ejectedFirstDetection memberAnd the second detection memberWhen going throughA first detection element that detects that the first detection member has moved away from the initial position, a second detection element that detects that the second detection member has moved away from the initial position, and a first detection element, A detection output is switched when at least one of the second detection elements moves to a position away from the initial position by a predetermined distance.A sensing element;
After the conveying means is started in the disc unloading direction, the first detection element, the second detection element, and the third detection elementSensing element sensing operationIn combinationDisk to be ejected based onIs a large-diameter disk or a small-diameter disk, and after the determination, the carrying-out operation by the conveying means is stopped based on the detection operation of any of the detection elementsA control unit;
Is provided.
[0012]
In the above means, the disk unloaded from the disk drive mechanism is transferred to the disk insertion port by the transport means. Alternatively, the disk unloaded from the disk drive mechanism may be unloaded to the disk storage unit.
[0013]
With this means, by identifying the diameter of the disk to be carried out, it becomes possible to identify the diameter at the time of unloading even when the stored information of the loaded disk is erased by turning off the power, for example. Therefore, the disc being carried out can be stopped at an optimum position according to the diameter. When the disc is returned to the disc storage portion, the disc can be surely returned into the disc storage portion regardless of the diameter of the disc.
[0014]
For example, the control unit may cause both the first detection member and the second detection member to be separated from the initial position by the first detection element and the second detection element after the transport unit is started in the disk unloading direction. Is detected, and when the detection output of the third detection element is switched, it is determined that the large-diameter disk is ejected,
When the detection operations of the first detection element, the second detection element, and the third detection element are not the combination, it is determined that the small-diameter disk is ejected.
[0015]
In this case, when the control unit determines that it is a large-diameter disk that has been ejected, the control unit carries out the unloading of the transport means when the third detection element returns to the original state after switching. The operation can be stopped.
[0016]
Alternatively, when the control unit determines that it is a small-diameter disk that has been ejected, the first detection element and the second detection element may be used to detect at least one of the first detection member and the second detection member. When it is detected that one of the two has returned to the initial position, the carrying-out operation of the conveying means can be stopped.

It is recognized that this is a discharge operation of the small-diameter disk DS, and at this time, the motor M is stopped and the

ST1 is a standby state shown in FIG. When it is detected by ST2 and ST3 that at least one of the switches SW1 and SW2 is turned off, the motor M is started by ST4, the
[0074]
In ST7, it is monitored whether or not both the first switch SW1 and the second switch SW2 are OFF and the third switch SW3 satisfies the ON condition. Is set to “1” (ST8), and it is recognized that a large-diameter disc DL has been inserted. In other cases, the detection flag is set to “0”, and it is recognized that an 8 cm disc (small-diameter disc DS) is loaded.
[0075]
In ST9, it is monitored whether or not the fourth switch SW4 is turned on. If it is ON, it is determined that the disk is securely loaded in the disk drive mechanism, and the motor M is stopped in ST13. At this time, the detection flag of the large-diameter disk DL is confirmed in ST14. When the detection flag is “1”, it is recognized that the large-diameter disk DL is loaded (ST15), and when the detection flag is “0”. It is recognized that a small-diameter disk DS is loaded (ST16).
[0076]
If the fourth detection switch SW4 is not turned on in ST9, it is monitored in ST10 whether a predetermined time has elapsed since the start of the time measuring operation in ST5. When the predetermined time has elapsed, the motor M is stopped (ST11), and it is determined that a loading error has occurred. At this time, the process proceeds to the eject mode (discharge operation) shown in ST12 of FIG.
[0077]
In the eject mode (discharge operation) shown in ST12 of FIG. 13, the motor M is started in ST (21) which is the discharge direction by ST21. In ST22, the
In ST23, it is monitored whether both of the switches SW1 and SW2 are OFF and the switch SW3 is ON and further OFF. When this condition is satisfied, the motor M is stopped in ST31. Recognize that the large-diameter disk DL has been unloaded. Thereafter, whether or not both of the switches SW1 and SW2 are turned on is monitored in ST33, and when both are turned on, it is recognized in ST34 that the large-diameter disk DL has been taken out.
[0078]
If both the switches SW1 and SW2 are not turned on and the third switch SW3 is turned on in ST35, it is determined that the disk DL has been pushed in again, the process proceeds to ST4, and the disk DL is drawn.
If both the switches SW1 and SW2 remain OFF and a predetermined time has passed without being reinserted, it is determined in ST36 that the large-diameter disk DL is left in the state shown in FIG. Moving to ST4, the disk DL is drawn.
[0079]
If the condition of ST23 is not satisfied and it is determined in ST24 and ST25 that either one of the switches SW1 and SW2 is turned off and further turned on, the motor M is stopped in ST29, and the small-diameter disk DS in ST30. Recognize that the unloading has been completed. At this time, the process proceeds to the standby mode of ST1 shown in FIG.
When it is determined in ST23, ST24, and ST25 that the completion of unloading of the large-diameter disk and the completion of unloading of the small-diameter disk have not been performed, and it is determined that a predetermined time has elapsed from the start of timing in ST22 (ST26), in ST27 The motor is stopped and it is recognized in ST28 that it is in the ejection error mode. At this time, the process proceeds to ST4 in FIG. 12, and the disk is drawn again.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, by using the detection member that is moved by being pushed by the disk, the diameter of the disk can be identified with the minimum number of detection elements. Also, the diameter can be identified while the disc is passing.
[0081]
Further, both disc diameter identification and disc insertion detection can be performed by a common detection element.
[0082]
Further, since the diameter of the disk can be identified during unloading, it is possible to stop the disk being unloaded at an optimal position according to the diameter.
