Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotary polygon mirror driving device used as an optical deflector or the like in a laser printer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a structure for attaching a rotary polygon mirror to a rotor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A rotary polygon mirror driving device used as an optical deflector or the like in a laser printer is disposed, for example, as opposed to a rotor on which a driving magnet is mounted and a driving magnet, as disclosed in JP-A-8-205452. A stator, a rotating polygon mirror having a central hole into which a part of the rotor is inserted, and a mirror pressing member attached to the rotor in a state where the rotating polygon mirror is pressed in the thrust direction.
[0003]
In the rotary polygon mirror driving device of this configuration, by forming a slot-like groove on the upper end surface of the cylinder portion (fitting protrusion) of the rotor to be fitted into the center hole (fitting hole) of the rotary polygon mirror, The outer portion is an elastic deformation portion. Therefore, even if the outer diameter of the fitting projection is reduced, the top of the rotor is not affected so that a large stress is not applied to the rotating polygon mirror when the fitting projection of the rotor is fitted into the center hole of the rotary polygon mirror. If the screw that fixes the mirror holding member to the rotor is screwed into the screw hole that is formed inside the groove at the end face for expanding the diameter, the elastic deformation part opens outward, so the elastic deformation part and the rotating polygon mirror The gap with the inner peripheral surface of the center hole can be eliminated.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional rotating polygon mirror mounting structure, if the elastic deformation part is opened outwardly and the gap is eliminated, the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotating polygon mirror is subjected to great stress, There is a problem that the mirror surface formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary polygon mirror is distorted. Such problems can be solved by weakening the screw tightening force, but instead, when the rotating polygon mirror rotates at a high speed, a large centrifugal force acts on the rotating polygon mirror, and the central hole of the rotating polygon mirror Spreads and rattling occurs on the rotating polygonal mirror. As a result, a new problem arises that the rotating polygon mirror is displaced on the rotor and loses balance, resulting in large vibrations.
[0005]
Therefore, instead of leaving a gap between the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, the mirror pressing member elastically presses the rotary polygon mirror in the thrust direction and fixes it to the rotor. Configuration is conceivable. With this configuration, a large stress is not applied to the rotating polygon mirror when a part of the rotor is fitted into the center hole of the rotating polygon mirror. Even if the mirror holding member presses the rotating polygon mirror against the rotor with a large force and prevents the rotation of the rotating polygon mirror on the rotor, the force of the mirror holding member acts in the thrust direction. The mirror surface formed on the surface is not distorted. However, in the configuration in which a gap is left between the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, and the mirror pressing member elastically presses and fixes the rotary polygon mirror to the rotor, the rotary polygon mirror has 10 Although there is no problem when rotating at about 3,000 rpm, when rotating at high speed of 37,000 rpm and repeating such high speed rotation and stopping, the rotating polygon mirror has a large centrifugal force. In response to this, the center hole repeatedly expands and contracts, so that a deviation that cannot be detected in the stopped state occurs in the rotating polygon mirror, which degrades the light deflection performance.
[0006]
In view of the above problems, the problem of the present invention is that the mirror surface formed on the outer peripheral surface of the rotating polygon mirror is not distorted, and even when the rotating polygon mirror rotates at high speed, on the rotor of the rotating polygon mirror. It is an object of the present invention to provide a rotary polygon mirror driving device that can reliably prevent the displacement.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention, a rotor mounted with a drive magnet, a stator opposed to the drive magnet, and a central hole into which a part of the rotor is inserted are placed on the rotor. In the rotary polygon mirror driving device having the rotary polygon mirror, and a mirror pressing member fixed to the rotor in a state where the rotary polygon mirror is pressed in the thrust direction and pressed against the rotor. The rotary polygon mirror is mounted on the rotor with a gap between the inner peripheral surface of the center hole and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, and the mirror pressing member is fixed to the rotary polygon mirror with an adhesive and The rotary polygon mirror is made immovable in the radial direction. In other words, the mirror pressing member is fixed to the rotary polygon mirror and the rotor so that the rotary polygon mirror cannot be displaced on the rotor.
[0008]
In the present invention, since a gap is secured between the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, the rotary polygon mirror rotates when a part of the rotor is fitted into the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror. No great stress is applied to the polygon mirror. Also, even if the mirror holding member presses and fixes the rotating polygon mirror to the rotor with a large force and the displacement of the rotating polygon mirror on the rotor is prevented, the force of the mirror holding member acts in the thrust direction. The mirror surface formed on the outer peripheral surface of the polygon mirror is not distorted. Moreover, even if a gap is left between the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, the mirror pressing member is fixed to the rotor side and fixed to the rotary polygon mirror with an adhesive. Therefore, the rotary polygon mirror is completely fixed to the rotor via the mirror pressing member. Therefore, even if the rotary polygon mirror repeatedly performs high-speed rotation of 37,000 rotations / quantile, it does not shift on the rotor.
[0009]
In the present invention, a structure in which the mirror retainer member is secured pressed against the rotating polygon mirror by pressing the rotary polygon mirror in the thrust direction which is placed on the rotor on the rotor, and screwed a cap to said rotor, said By using a mirror pressing member comprising a cap and a spacer disposed between the rotary polygon mirror and fixing the spacer to both the cap and the rotary polygon mirror with an adhesive, the rotary polygon mirror Is impossible to move in the radial direction .
[0010]
In the present invention, when the spacer is fixed to both the cap and the rotary polygon mirror with an adhesive, the spacer is bonded to the gap formed by the spacer between the cap and the rotary polygon mirror. What is necessary is just to fill an agent.
[0011]
In the present invention, as the spacer, a pressing spring that is elastically deformed by a thrust force from the cap between the cap and the rotary polygon mirror can be used. In this case, the holding spring includes an annular base portion and a plurality of protrusions bent in the thrust direction from the base portion and in point contact or line contact with at least one of the cap or the rotary polygon mirror. It is preferable. In this case, it is preferable that a part of the protrusion of the holding spring bites into the cap or the rotary polygon mirror. If comprised in this way, between the holding spring and a cap, or between a holding spring and a rotary polygon mirror, the fixing force by an adhesive agent and the fixing force resulting from the catch of the said protrusion between each member act. Therefore, the fixing between the members becomes strong.
[0012]
In the present invention, it is preferable that the rotor, the cap, and the rotary polygon mirror have the same linear expansion coefficient. If comprised in this way, it can avoid that the fixed state of a rotary polygon mirror falls by thermal deformation, and can also prevent peeling of an adhesive agent.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the rotary polygon mirror driving device according to the present invention, since a gap is secured between the inner peripheral surface of the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, the central hole of the rotary polygon mirror When a part of the rotor is fitted into the rotary polygon mirror, no great stress is applied to the rotary polygon mirror. Moreover, even if a gap is left between the inner peripheral surface of the center hole of the rotary polygon mirror and the outer peripheral surface of the rotor, the mirror pressing member is completely fixed to the rotor side, and the rotary polygon mirror is bonded to the rotary polygon mirror with an adhesive. Since it is completely fixed, the rotating polygon mirror does not shift on the rotor even if it rotates at high speed.
