BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a hydraulic pressure supply device for a valve operating mechanism.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In some hybrid vehicles, in order to further improve fuel consumption by reducing the engine friction, for example, a valve operating mechanism is operated by hydraulic control to perform cylinder deactivation. When the vehicle shifts to a decelerating state, for example, by stopping the cylinder along with stopping the fuel supply, the regeneration amount is increased by the amount corresponding to the reduction of the engine friction, thereby improving the fuel consumption.
Therefore, if an engine capable of stopping all cylinders is used, the energy due to engine friction during deceleration can be recovered to the maximum, and a hybrid vehicle with good fuel efficiency can be obtained.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
If all cylinders can be deactivated as described above, fuel efficiency can be further improved. However, the engine can be operated on its own by dealing with situations where the cylinder deactivation mechanism is abnormal and cannot be driven by an electric motor. Since it is necessary to enable traveling, some cylinders must be normal cylinders that do not deactivate cylinders. Therefore, with respect to the normal cylinder, there is still a problem that normal engine friction is generated at the time of deceleration or the like, and the fuel efficiency improvement effect is impaired accordingly.
[0004]
Thus, the present invention can maximize the fuel consumption improvement effect due to cylinder deactivation and supply hydraulic pressure to a valve mechanism that does not hinder traveling even when a failure occurs in some cylinders or hydraulic system. A device is provided.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention described in
With this configuration, for example, when fuel supply is stopped during deceleration, hydraulic pressure is applied to each rocker shaft via each hydraulic control means, and all cylinders in the cylinder row are deactivated, and some control means In the case of failure, it becomes possible to operate normally without stopping the cylinder by applying hydraulic pressure to the corresponding rocker shaft via the remaining normal hydraulic pressure control means.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the hydraulic control means includes a spool valve (for example,
With this configuration, it is possible to perform cylinder deactivation and deactivation while monitoring the presence or absence of a failure by detecting the hydraulic pressure with a hydraulic sensor.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
First, the configuration of a parallel hybrid vehicle including a hydraulic pressure supply device for a valve operating mechanism according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be briefly described. This hybrid vehicle has a structure in which an engine E, a motor (electric motor) M, and a transmission (transmission) T are directly connected in series. The power of at least one of the engine E and the motor M is transmitted to the output shaft via a transmission T such as CVT (may be a manual transmission) to drive the front wheels Wf as driving wheels. Further, when the driving force is transmitted from the front wheel Wf side to the motor M side during deceleration of the hybrid vehicle, the motor M functions as a generator to generate a so-called regenerative braking force and recovers the kinetic energy of the vehicle body as electric energy. .

According to the above embodiment, when the cylinder is deactivated, the regeneration amount corresponding to the engine friction of all the cylinders can be recovered by the motor M, and the fuel efficiency improvement effect due to the cylinder deactivation can be maximized, and some cylinders and the hydraulic system fail. Even if this occurs, it is possible to travel without any trouble and the reliability can be improved.
In addition, cylinder deactivation and deactivation can be performed while monitoring the presence or absence of a failure by detecting the oil pressure by the POIL sensors S1 and S1 ′, so that the deactivation and deactivation of the cylinder can be reliably performed.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment. For example, the case where the present invention is applied to a hybrid vehicle has been described, but the present invention can also be applied to a normal engine.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, for example, when the fuel supply is stopped at the time of deceleration, the hydraulic pressure is applied to each rocker shaft via each hydraulic control means, so that The cylinder is deactivated, and when some hydraulic control means breaks down, it can be operated normally without cylinder deactivation by applying hydraulic pressure to the corresponding rocker shaft via the remaining normal hydraulic control means. Therefore, when the cylinders are deactivated, the regeneration amount corresponding to the engine friction of all the cylinders can be collected by the electric motor, and even if some of the hydraulic control means fails, the vehicle can be run without any trouble.
[0028]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, it is possible to perform cylinder deactivation and deactivation while monitoring the presence or absence of a failure by detecting the hydraulic pressure using a hydraulic pressure sensor. There are effects that can be performed.
