Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention belongs to the technical field of an ink cartridge that can be loaded into a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer and supplied with ink.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in this type of ink cartridge, the stored ink is effectively derived and used, and after the ink in the ink cartridge is consumed, the operator removes the used ink cartridge from the printer as needed. Ink cartridges filled with various inks were reloaded (replacement of ink cartridges). By the way, in such an exchange operation, there is a possibility that ink slightly remaining in the ink cartridge may inadvertently leak out of the ink cartridge and contaminate not only the printer but also the operator.
[0003]
In order to solve the above problems, the negative pressure characteristic in the ink cartridge is reduced as in the invention of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-214666 (known example A) and the invention of Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-40043 (known example B). It was intended to eliminate the problem of ink leakage due to stabilization.
[0004]
Also, for the operation of removing the ink cartridge mounted in the printer from the printer for replacement, the operator inserts a finger into a narrow loading area and picks up and removes the ink cartridge. For example, as shown in FIG. As described above, there has been a general method in which a finger is pulled out from the top flange F of the ink cartridge IC (Prior art C).
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the known example A or B, the remaining amount of ink is reduced by the stable control of the negative pressure characteristic to prevent the leakage of the ink and the effective use thereof is intended. However, the structure was complicated and it was not easy to handle.
[0006]
Further, in the conventional technique C, it cannot be said that the user's satisfaction is necessarily high in terms of a reliable and efficient replacement operation of the ink cartridge.
[0007]
A first problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an ink cartridge that can safely prevent a slight amount of ink remaining in the ink cartridge from unexpectedly leaking during an ink cartridge replacement operation. That is.
[0008]
A second problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an ink cartridge in which a used ink cartridge can be easily removed from the printer.
[0009]
A third problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an ink cartridge that is very simple in structure and easy to handle.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Specific means for solving the above-described problems are as follows.
[0011]
(1) In an ink cartridge that can be supplied to ink by being loaded into a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer, a taking-out means for separating the ink cartridge from the recording apparatus, a sealing means for sealing the inside of the ink cartridge, and an ink cartridge Pressure reducing means for reducing the pressure inside the vacuum chamber, wherein the pressure reducing means is constituted by a vacuum chamber formed in the ink containing portion, the take-out means is constituted by a lever provided on a lid, and the sealing means is the The vent hole opened in the lid is closed with the pad attached to the lever, the vent hole is closed during the take-out operation with the lever, and the breaking wall is pressed with the pusher of the lever to separate the partition wall An ink cartridge that is ruptured so that the vacuum chamber can communicate with the ink storage chamber .
[0012]
(2) In an ink cartridge that can be loaded into a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer and supply ink, a take-out means for separating the ink cartridge from the recording apparatus, a sealing means for sealing the inside of the ink cartridge, and an ink cartridge And a decompression means for decompressing the interior,
The decompression means is provided in a pull-up lever for the take-out means, and is composed of a pull-up lever for the take-out means and a spear connected to the lift-up lever, and the sealing means lifts the vent hole opened in the lid. An ink cartridge that is configured to be freely closed by a lever, closes a vent hole when the ink cartridge is pulled up by the pulling lever, and depressurizes the ink containing portion by the pressure reducing means in the pulling lever .
[0016]
When the used ink cartridge is removed from the printer in order to replace the used ink cartridge with the unused ink cartridge by the above-mentioned specific means, the ink container is previously closed and the pressure is reduced, and the ink cartridge remains. There was no risk of ink leaking from the ink cartridge.
[0017]
