Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention, in an internal combustion engine equipped with a supercharger, it relates to an exhaust re循installed circumferentially location was to be able to introduce the exhaust gas recirculated into the cylinder without passing through the air supply line.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a means for increasing the output and torque of an internal combustion engine, there has been a case where a supercharger that increases the density and the amount of intake air is provided to increase the output and torque of the internal combustion engine. .
[0003]
FIG. 3 is a configuration diagram showing an example of such an internal combustion engine with a supercharger. As shown, an
[0004]
In the case of such a configuration, the supply / exhaust valve is opened / closed and the cylinder internal pressure changes as shown in the timing diagram of the supply / exhaust valve in the internal combustion engine with the supercharger shown in FIG. In this timing chart, only the range of 360 ° between the exhaust stroke and the supply stroke where the compression stroke and the combustion expansion stroke are omitted is shown.
[0005]
When the exhaust valve is lifted to exhaust the exhaust gas from before the piston bottom dead center, the pressure in the cylinder drops to the exhaust pressure Pe. When the piston reaches the top dead center in this state, the air supply valve lifts and the exhaust valve closes, and there is an overlap period in which the exhaust valve closes while the air supply valve opens. Thereafter, when the piston descends, the supply air is sucked into the cylinder from the supply valve. The pressure in the cylinder during this air supply stroke is equal to the air supply pressure Ps. By opening / closing the supply /
[0006]
Then, the piston is compressed from the bottom dead center of the piston, undergoes a combustion and expansion stroke, and is repeated to an exhaust stroke in which the exhaust valve is opened. As shown, in the case of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger, the supply pressure Ps is higher than the exhaust pressure Pe under a normal load.
[0007]
On the other hand, in an internal combustion engine, exhaust gas recirculation in which part of exhaust gas is recirculated in a cylinder together with air supply and burned is effective for reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particularly when the recirculated exhaust gas is cooled. It is widely known that the effect is large. As a method of recirculating the exhaust gas, a method of returning a part of the exhaust gas to the air supply side and recirculating the exhaust gas together with the normal air supply is usually adopted. However, in the case of a supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine, since the supply pressure Ps is higher than the exhaust pressure Pe as described above, the recirculated exhaust gas cannot be directly introduced into the supply side.
[0008]
Therefore, for example, in an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine having a supercharger described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-144610, a booster driven by air supply is provided to boost the recirculated exhaust gas to increase the air supply line. I am trying to introduce it. In this case, the exhaust gas can be recirculated even when the supply pressure is higher than the exhaust pressure.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the case of the exhaust gas recirculation device described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-144610, structural processing for providing a booster, which is a special machine, and costs for the booster are required, and the Since the energy of the compressed air is consumed for driving, the efficiency of the supercharger is reduced. Therefore, it is limited to some uses.
[0010]
In addition, since the recirculated exhaust gas is introduced into the air supply line, the exhaust gas contaminates the compressor of the booster, the air supply line, the air cooler, etc. This causes corrosion problems.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in order to solve the above problem, the exhaust gas recirculation device of the present invention is provided with a supercharger that pressurizes the air in an air supply line with a blower driven by a turbine provided in the exhaust line. Before, a recirculation exhaust line for extracting a part of exhaust gas from the exhaust line exhaust gas and recirculating exhaust gas is provided, and a recirculation exhaust passage for guiding the exhaust gas of the recirculation exhaust line to an exhaust passage is provided at a cylinder outlet, In the latter half of the air supply stroke in which the piston descends, the air supply valve is closed early and the cylinder is adiabatically expanded to reduce the pressure in the cylinder from the supply pressure to the exhaust pressure. After the recirculated exhaust gas is sucked into the cylinder from the exhaust side, the exhaust valve is closed when the piston approaches the bottom dead center. A check valve that opens and closes due to a pressure difference in an exhaust passage is provided in order to prevent high-temperature exhaust gas from being sucked into the cylinder from the exhaust line when the recirculated exhaust gas is sucked. In order to prevent high-temperature exhaust gas from entering the recirculation exhaust line, a check valve that opens and closes due to a pressure difference is provided in the recirculation exhaust passage . As described above, in the latter half of the air supply stroke, the air supply valve is closed early, and then the exhaust valve is opened to suck the recirculated exhaust gas from the exhaust side. Also, the recirculated exhaust gas can be sucked into the cylinder by the movement of the piston. Therefore, in an internal combustion engine equipped with a supercharger, the recirculated exhaust gas can be introduced into the cylinder and recirculated without passing through the air supply system, so that the exhaust gas can be recirculated without dirtying the air supply system. Can be circulated. In addition, the air supply system is not corroded by the recirculated exhaust gas.
[0012]
Further, in the internal combustion engine having such a supercharger, a part of exhaust gas is taken out from the exhaust line as recirculated exhaust gas, and the exhaust valve is opened in the latter half of the air supply stroke so as to be sucked into the cylinder. Can be recirculated without passing through the air supply system, so that an exhaust gas recirculation device that does not pollute the air supply system with exhaust gas can be configured. Moreover, even if the exhaust valve is opened at the time of air supply to suck in the recirculated exhaust gas, it is possible to prevent the high-temperature exhaust gas from being sucked into the cylinder from the exhaust line side, and the high-temperature exhaust gas is recirculated during the exhaust stroke. It can be prevented from flowing to the side.
[0013]
If a cooler for cooling the recirculated exhaust gas is provided in the recirculated exhaust line, the exhaust valve can be cooled with the cooled recirculated exhaust gas.
[0016]
Further, if a recirculation exhaust amount adjustment line having a flow rate adjustment member is provided between the supply line and the recirculation exhaust line in order to adjust the recirculation exhaust amount, the exhaust gas to be recirculated by adjusting the flow adjustment member is provided. The amount can be adjusted arbitrarily. As the flow rate adjusting member, for example, a throttle valve is used, and by adjusting the opening degree of the throttle valve, the amount of air to be mixed with the exhaust gas to be recirculated can be adjusted, whereby the amount of exhaust gas to be recirculated can be adjusted. .
[0017]
Furthermore, if the valve mechanism is provided with an opening / closing timing adjustment means for the supply / exhaust valve so that the recirculation exhaust amount can be adjusted, the supply / exhaust valve opening / closing time adjustment mechanically adjusts the supply air amount and the recirculation exhaust amount. Can be adjusted.
[0018]

FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing an embodiment of an exhaust gas recirculation device according to the present invention. As shown in this timing chart, the supply / exhaust valve is opened / closed and the pressure in the cylinder changes. In this timing chart, only the range of 360 ° between the exhaust stroke and the supply stroke where the compression stroke and the combustion expansion stroke are omitted is shown.
[0025]
As shown in the figure, when the exhaust valve is lifted from the bottom dead center of the piston to discharge the combustion gas, the pressure in the cylinder drops to the exhaust pressure Pe. If the piston reaches the top dead center in this state, there is an overlap period in which the exhaust valve closes while the air supply valve opens. Thereafter, when the piston descends, supply air is sucked into the cylinder from the supply valve. The pressure in the cylinder during the air supply stroke is equal to the air supply pressure Ps. [0029]
In addition, as described above, the first half of the air supply stroke sucks only clean air supply, and at the end of the second half, sucks recirculated exhaust gas at the top of the cylinder. Since compression, explosion, and expansion are performed, it is possible to effectively prevent exhaust gas from leaking into the crankcase from the sliding surface between the piston ring and the cylinder during the compression stroke. It is possible to suppress the mixing of the exhaust fine particles into the lubricating oil due to the leakage to the lubricating oil.

The above-described embodiment is one embodiment, and various changes can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment.
[0033]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention is implemented in the form described above, and has the following effects.
[0034]
Even under operating conditions where the supply air pressure is higher than the exhaust pressure, the recirculated exhaust gas can be introduced into the cylinder and recirculated without passing through the air supply system. This makes it possible to configure an exhaust gas recirculation device that does not have any exhaust gas.
