BRDY

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a camera having a shake correction function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a camera having a shake correction function, a shake detection circuit using an angular velocity sensor or the like detects a shake generated in the camera, and corrects the shake by changing an optical axis of a photographing optical system based on the detected amount. Such a camera has been proposed.
[0003]
In order to change the optical axis of the photographing optical system, a shake correction lens which is a part of the photographing optical system is used, and the optical axis is changed by driving the lens perpendicular to the optical axis by a motor or the like. . When a motor is used, the rotation of the motor is reduced by a gear or the like, and the rotational motion is converted into a linear motion, thereby driving the shake correction lens.
Conventionally, in a camera having a shake correction function, a drive speed of a shake correction lens for correcting shake based on an output from a shake detection circuit is calculated, and the drive speed of the shake correction lens is calculated based on an output from the lens position detection circuit. Calculate the driving amount. The shake correction lens is driven from a predetermined reference position (hereinafter, referred to as a reset position) such that the optical axis is substantially at the center position of the photographing optical system (hereinafter, referred to as centering drive). Immediately before the exposure process for exposing the film by driving the shutter, the microcomputer controls the motor drive circuit based on the calculated drive speed and drive amount, drives the shake correction lens, and cancels the optical axis so as to cancel the camera shake. (Hereinafter, referred to as shake correction control) is started. After the exposure processing is completed and the shake correction control ends, the shake correction lens is driven to a reset position (hereinafter, referred to as reset drive). Such a series of processing is performed.
[0004]
In addition, it has a main microcomputer that controls a series of photographing processes of the camera, and a sub-microcomputer that controls a shake detection circuit, a lens position detection circuit, and a motor drive circuit to execute shake correction control. The main microcomputer controls the sub-microcomputer by being electrically connected and performing serial communication.
[0005]
In addition, the sub-microcomputer has an operation state in which processing is performed according to a program built in the sub-microcomputer, and a standby state in which the processing of the program is temporarily stopped and current consumption is very small compared to the operation state (hereinafter, standby mode). State), and a stopped state (hereinafter, referred to as a reset state) in which the processing of the program is stopped and the internal data is initialized.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as described above, according to the conventional technology, the main microcomputer controls the sub-microcomputer via a device such as a reset IC to release the sub-microcomputer from the reset state or to shift to the reset state. I was Therefore, there has been a problem that the mounting area increases and the cost increases.
[0007]
Also, since the main microcomputer and sub-microcomputer transfer data by serial communication, if a serial communication error occurs, the shake detection circuit, lens position detection circuit, and motor drive circuit remain operating, and the battery that is the power supply There has been a problem that it is worn out and leads to the occurrence of defects and the expansion of defects.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such a conventional problem, and aims at solving a cost increase due to an increase in a mounting area because a main microcomputer controls a sub-microcomputer via a reset IC. And
[0008]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
In the camera according to the first aspect, the serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device, so that the standby state and the operation state of the shake correction control device can be switched. By switching to the standby state when the correction is not performed, the current consumed by the shake correction control device can be suppressed.Furthermore, the standby state of the shake correction control device is released and the operation state is changed to an operation state by at least one signal of the signal line for serial data transfer that is electrically connected, so that the current consumed by the shake correction control device is suppressed. At the same time, the shake correction can be controlled by the shake correction control device as before.
[0071]
Claim 2In the camera described above, the serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device in accordance with the operation of the half-press switch operating member of the release button for executing the photographing process of the camera, so that the shake correction is performed. Since the standby state of the control device is released and the operation state is set, the current consumed by the shake correction control device is suppressed, and the shake correction control device can control the shake correction according to the operation of the half-press switch.
Can be in a state.
[0072]
Claim 3In the camera of (1), serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device in accordance with the operation of the main switch operation member that enables the camera to take a picture, so that the shake correction control device is in a standby state. Is released and the operating state is established, so that the current consumed by the shake correction control device can be suppressed, and the shake correction control device can be controlled in accordance with the operation of the main switch operating member.
[0073]
Claim 4In the case of the camera, the serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device in response to the completion of the exposure processing of the camera, so that the shake correction control device is changed from the operation state to the standby state. Since the transition is made, when the exposure processing is completed and the control of the shake correction control device is not necessary, the current consumed by the shake correction control device is suppressed.
[0074]
Claim 5In the camera described above, when the operation of the half-push switch operating member is released, the serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device, thereby operating the shake correction control device. Since the transition is made from the state to the standby state, the current consumed by the shake correction control device is suppressed when control of the shake correction control device is not necessary.
[0075]
Claim 6The camera further includes an electronic flash device, and in the case of an exposure process involving emission of the electronic flash device, when the electronic flash device is determined to be uncharged, the electronic flash device is connected between the main control device and the shake correction control device. Since the serial data transfer causes the shake correction control device to transition from the operating state to the standby state, the current consumed by the shake correction control device can be suppressed when control of the shake correction control device is not necessary.
[0076]
Claim 7When the self-timer shooting is canceled while the camera's self-timer is counting, serial data transfer is performed between the main control device and the shake correction control device, so that the shake correction control device Since a transition is made from the operating state to the standby state, the current consumed by the shake correction control device is suppressed when control of the shake correction control device is not necessary.
[0077]
Claim 8In the case of the camera, after the shake correction control means drives the optical axis changing device to a predetermined reference position in response to the power being supplied to the camera, the camera moves between the main control device and the shake correction control device. Since the serial data transfer causes the shake correction control device to transition from the operating state to the standby state, the current consumed by the shake correction control device can be suppressed when control of the shake correction control device is not necessary.
[0078]
Claim 9In the case of the camera described above, when serial data transfer to the shake correction control device of the main control device is not performed even after a predetermined time has elapsed since the shake correction control device was released from the standby state, the shake correction control device Since the transition from the operation state to the standby state is performed, even if noise is present on the signal line for performing serial data transfer and the shake correction control device is changed from the standby state to the operation state, the state shifts to the standby state after a predetermined time elapses. The current consumed by the control device is reduced.
[0079]
Claim 10In the case of the camera described above, when serial data transfer to the shake correction control device of the main control device is not performed even after a predetermined time has elapsed since the shake correction control device was released from the standby state, the shake correction control device Since the power supply of the shake detection device and the drive device is cut off, even if noise is present on the signal line for serial data transfer, the shake correction control device changes from the standby state to the operation state and the shake detection device and the drive device
Even if the power is turned on, the power of the shake detecting device and the driving device is cut off after a predetermined time has elapsed, so that the current consumed there is suppressed.
