そこで本発明では、自然薯の葉自体が他の野菜類に比べ青臭みが少ない事を考慮して、請求項1記載の方法、即ち、灰・竹炭・木炭を粉末化しその中の少なくとも1種類を弱アルカリ水に混ぜたものに自然薯の葉を漬け置き後、弱アルカリ水で洗浄する事で、アク抜きが出来、青臭みが低減すると共に、栄養、薬用効果等も失われない事を見出し、特別添加剤を使用する必要を無くした。

【発明の実施の形態】
自然薯の葉の青汁中にゲオスゲニンが含まれている。その自然薯の葉に含まれているゲオスゲニンが体内でデヒドロエピアンドロステロン(以下、DHEAという)として働くということがわかっている。DHEAはホルモンの元なる物質です。それは人間の体に、なくてはならないものである。その分泌能力は年齢を重ねるごとに衰えていきます。そのDHEAを補給する事が出来る。また自然薯の葉の青汁の中にはビタミン類をはじめ、たんぱく質・カルシウム・鉄分・リン・その他多くの栄養物が含まれている。自然薯の葉を請求項1のアク抜き洗浄後、請求項2の冷凍微粉末化・焙煎微粉末化、請求項3の細断化する事で長期保存でき、1年中栄養補助食品として飲むことができる。
