BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a YAG laser machining apparatus, and more particularly to providing means for automatically and accurately maintaining the workpiece machining line.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When welding a metal material in this type of YAG laser processing apparatus, for example, a YAG laser welding machine, which performs various processing of a workpiece material using a YAG laser, the following working methods are performed.
[0003]
(1) Robot welding: A YAG laser processing torch is mounted on, for example, an articulated robot, and processing is performed by irradiating laser light while accurately reproducing a predetermined welding line previously taught. Do. FIG. 4 shows a schematic diagram of an example of a conventional YAG laser processing system of this type for reference.
[0004]
Although detailed description is omitted, the YGA laser processing (welding)
[0005]
45 is a handy emitting unit, 46 is a controller for the
[0006]
(2) Manual welding: An operator carries the YGA laser processing torch directly by hand and irradiates the laser beam while manually feeding the line to be welded.
[0007]
(3) Coordinate position tracking welding: A YAG laser processing torch is mounted on an orthogonal two-dimensional or three-dimensional processing machine, etc., and the laser beam is moved while the torch is moved based on numerical control (NC) data input in advance by programming. Etc. by irradiating
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional working methods (apparatuses) as described above have the following problems.
[0009]
(1) Robot welding: The YAG laser used for welding has a laser beam spot diameter as small as about 1φ at the maximum, so it is necessary to prevent it from coming off the predetermined welding line. It causes welding defects and quality degradation.
[0010]
For this reason, in YAG laser welding, the welding position must be taught / reproduced fairly carefully and accurately as compared with arc welding having a relatively wide welding width.
[0011]
Moreover, due to variations in workpiece parts before welding, etc., it is usually necessary to teach for each workpiece or to prepare a fairly large jig. If the size is relatively large, the number of points to be taught becomes enormous, which not only increases the processing time, but also imposes a heavy burden on the operator, or increases production costs such as jigs and lengthens product delivery times. It is also a cause of such.
[0012]
(2) Manual welding: When the operator directly handles the torch for YAG laser processing by hand, in order to maintain the quality and required strength of the welded part, the welding line should be at a predetermined height and speed. It is necessary to send the processing torch accurately so as not to deviate from this line.
[0013]
However, this requires a considerable amount of skill and patience as a practical problem. Therefore, in reality, it is practically limited to relatively small workpieces and small lot parts.
[0014]
(3) Coordinate position tracking welding: This type of YAG laser welding processing is generally performed on a workpiece temporarily attached (temporarily fixed) to a three-dimensional shape. Because of this, there is a limit to the programming software that can be handled, and in practice, there is no choice but to rely on the teaching method. Therefore, it has the same problems as in the robot welding described in (1) above. ing.
[0015]
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and is relatively low by providing a driving means for automatic traveling without using a large-scale robot as described in (1) above. An object of the present invention is to provide a YAG laser processing apparatus which can reduce the burden on an operator at a low cost and can perform high quality and stable YAG laser processing.
[0016]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, in the present invention, a frame cover equipped with a YAG laser processing torch, a plurality of feed rollers having an automatic traveling function on a fixed work along a predetermined laser processing line, and a workpiece outer side surface along the processing line A side guide roller that is driven in contact with the frame, a movable balance weight means that can variably control the position of the center of gravity of the frame cover in the running direction, and detects the lift of the end of the workpiece and the cover frame, respectively. A YAG laser processing apparatus comprising: a detecting means; and safety means for automatically stopping the irradiation of the laser light of the torch and the rotational driving of the feed rollers when the apparatus is in a predetermined condition. By doing so, the above object is achieved.
[0017]
[Action]
With the configuration of the present invention as described above, high-quality and stable YAG laser processing can be realized at low cost without using an expensive articulated robot or the like, and the burden on the operator can be greatly reduced. .
[0018]

【The invention's effect】
As described above using the embodiment, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
[0044]
(1) Since a motor or the like is provided in the YAG laser processing apparatus to provide an automatic movement (running) function, automatic processing can be performed at a predetermined speed and a predetermined focal height. There is no need to monitor, and significant labor savings can be achieved.
[0045]
In addition, since complicated and expensive robots are not used, not only can the cost be reduced, but teaching for each workpiece does not require any programming correction, so that the number of man-hours and the burden on the operator can be greatly reduced.
[0046]
(2) Since the movable balance weight means is provided, there is no need to change the apparatus during the machining, and the entire area of the workpiece can be completely machined in one pass.
[0047]
(3) Since the workpiece end face detection means and the device lifting detection means are provided, a series of machining operations from one end of the workpiece to the other end can be performed unattended, and even if an accident such as dropping or tilting of the device occurs. It is safe because the emission of laser light and the running of the apparatus can be stopped immediately.
[0048]
(4) Since the machining torch can be easily attached / detached / replaced with a simple operation, maintenance of the protective glass, condenser lens, nozzle, etc. is easy. 4) and the like.
[0049]
(5) Since the feed roller is provided with means that can always run stably with respect to the workpiece in the predetermined traveling direction of the apparatus, the apparatus always runs while the apparatus is in contact with the work end surface. Stable high-quality machining is possible without deviating from the predetermined machining line over the workpiece outline.
