Abstract
【解決手段】 トリクロロベンゼン(TCB)を含んだPCB汚染物を有機溶剤で洗浄する洗浄工程と、洗浄廃液中のTCBとPCBとを分離する基本蒸留工程と、この缶出液中のPCB濃度を濃縮して回収するPCB濃縮工程とを備えたPCB汚染物の処理方法において、前記有機溶剤として、TCBの沸点よりも高い沸点を有する炭化水素系溶剤を用い、前記基本蒸留工程の第1蒸留塔1から留出される有機溶剤とTCBとの混合液をから、TCB除去塔2により有機溶媒とTCBとを分離する第2の蒸留工程を設け、第1蒸留塔1からの缶出液に含まれるTCB濃度を微小に抑制したのである。

Claims (6)
- トリクロロベンゼンを含んだPCB汚染物を有機溶剤で洗浄する洗浄工程と、洗浄排液中の有機溶剤とPCBとを分離する基本蒸留工程とを備えたPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法において、前記有機溶剤の沸点がトリクロロベンゼンの沸点よりも高く、前記基本蒸留工程の後に、前記有機溶剤とトリクロロベンゼンとを分離する第2の蒸留工程を設けたことを特徴とするPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法。
- 前記第2の蒸留工程で缶出させた有機溶剤を、洗浄溶剤として再使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法。
- 前記洗浄工程が粗洗浄工程と仕上げ洗浄工程とからなり、この粗洗浄工程と仕上げ洗浄工程の後に、有機溶剤とPCBとを分離する基本蒸留工程と、有機溶剤とトリクロロベンゼンとを分離する第2の蒸留工程とをそれぞれ設けたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法。
- 前記有機溶剤の沸点が、225℃以上、275℃以下であるノルマルパラフィン系溶剤であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法。
- 前記ノルマルパラフィン系溶剤が、炭素数13のn-トリデカン、炭素数14のn-テトラデカンまたは炭素数15のn−ペンタデカンである請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のPCB汚染物の洗浄処理方法。
- トリクロロベンゼンを含んだPCB汚染物を有機溶剤で洗浄する洗浄手段と、この洗浄排液中の有機溶媒とPCBとを分離する基本蒸留手段とを備えたPCB汚染物の洗浄処理システムにおいて、前記有機溶剤の沸点がトリクロロベンゼンの沸点よりも高く、前記蒸留手段の下流側に、前記有機溶剤とトリクロロベンゼンとを分離する第2の蒸留手段を設け、缶出した有機溶剤を洗浄溶剤として再使用するようにしたことを特徴とするPCB汚染物の洗浄処理システム。
