Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a packing material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape suitably used as a curing material, particularly vertical, good tearability in the horizontal direction, the tearing direction is difficult to skew, and the fracture surface The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a resin-laminated knitted fabric substrate with less fuzz.
[0002]
[Prior art]
High-strength adhesive tapes have been widely used for fixing, bundling, or painting masking in a wide range of fields such as agriculture, civil engineering, construction, and transportation. It is required to have appropriate substrate strength and hand-cutting properties from the convenience of work.
[0003]
Conventionally, the base material for adhesive tapes used for such purposes includes plain woven fabrics that use warp yarns, cotton yarns, and woolen polyester twist yarns because of their good hand-cutting properties and substrate strength. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape obtained by laminating polyethylene on the surface and further performing pressure-sensitive adhesive processing has been used.
[0004]
Recently, warp yarns as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 41189/1994, Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-46996, and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-331200 have been used for their economical efficiency, workability, appearance and adhesive tape properties. Both plain woven fabrics using flat yarns mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin have been widely used as substrates.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Recently, pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes are widely used for curing applications. However, when temporarily fixing a curing sheet or the like, the tape may be torn in a vertical direction and used in an elongated shape.
However, the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a plain woven fabric base material using the flat yarn has an excellent hand-cutting property in the horizontal direction, but has a drawback that it cannot be cut in the vertical direction.
[0006]
An adhesive tape using a substrate made of this flat yarn is excellent in linearity when cut by hand in the horizontal direction, but the warp yarn of the cut easily comes out as fluff, and the aesthetic appearance at the time of sticking is impaired. However, there is also a drawback that the parting performance at the time of painting is hindered.
[0007]
Further, when subjected to oblique stress, these plain woven fabrics are easily skewed, and as a result, accurate straightness at the time of hand cutting may not be maintained.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have previously proposed a base fabric formed of a warp knitted fabric (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-314062). As a result of intensive research on the method of utilizing, after one or both sides of the knitted fabric are subjected to a physical or chemical anchor treatment (AC treatment), the thermoplastic resin is laminated at a certain range of resin temperature and resin amount. In addition, the adhesive tape formed by adhesive processing on at least one surface thereof is good in vertical and horizontal hand-cutting properties, has less fuzz in the fractured surface, and is less likely to skew, resulting in agriculture, civil engineering, construction, The present invention was found to be useful for fixing, bundling or painting masking of materials in a wide field such as transportation, and completed the present invention. The present invention includes the following inventions.
[0009]
(1) One side or front and back of a knitted fabric formed by inserting a flat yarn mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 65 to 250 ° C as a weft yarn into a warp yarn in which a multifilament is independently knitted, physical anchor treatment layer is formed on one surface or both surfaces melting point to the anchor treatment layer is the sixty-five to three hundred and fifty ° C. for the thermoplastic resin in a molten state, the layer deposition amount of 5 to 250 g / m 2 per surface A pressure-sensitive adhesive having a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to one or both sides of a knitted fabric substrate laminated as described above, and has a tensile strength in the vertical and horizontal directions of 5 to 2000 N / 25 mm each, preferably 10 to 500 N / 25 mm. In the width, the tear strength in the vertical and horizontal directions is 0.1 to 25N, preferably 0.1 to 10N, and the elongation in the vertical direction is 5 to 75%, preferably 10 to 30%. Knitted fabric adhesive that has a straight hand-cutting property in the vertical / horizontal direction, so that even when subjected to stress in an oblique direction, the tearing direction of the substrate does not skew and the cut does not fluff. tape.
[0010]
(2) The warp yarn is a yarn having a yarn count of 10 to 1000 deniers, preferably 20 to 500 deniers, a polyester filament, a polyacryl filament, which is composed of a staple yarn, a cotton yarn, a staple-polyester twisted yarn and a cotton-polyester twisted yarn. , A filament consisting of a nylon filament and a polypropylene filament is a multifilament having a denier of 10 to 1000 denier, preferably 20 to 500 denier, and a denier of 50 to 1000 denier mainly containing a thermoplastic resin, preferably 50 to 300 denier. The knitted fabric adhesive tape according to (1), wherein the tape is one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of flat yarns.
[0011]
(3) The weft yarn is a flat yarn made of a thermoplastic resin having a thickness of 50 to 1000 denier, preferably 100 to 500 denier, and a melting point of 65 to 250 ° C. The knitted fabric adhesive tape according to (1) or (2).
[0012]
(4) The anchor treatment layer is a physical treatment layer selected from a corona treatment, a UV treatment, and a sputtering treatment, or a resin selected from an organic titanium resin, an isocyanate resin, a polyethyleneimine resin, and a polybutadiene resin. The knitted fabric pressure-sensitive adhesive tape according to any one of the above items (1) to (3), which is a chemical treatment layer obtained by applying an adhesive.
[0013]
(5) The laminated resin layer is made of a resin having a melting point of 65 to 350 ° C., and has a coating amount of at least one side of 5 to 250 g / m 2 , preferably 10 to 100 g / m 2. The knitted fabric adhesive tape according to any one of the above items (1) to (4).
[0014]
(6) The pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive having a glass transition point of 10 ° C. or less selected from rubber, acrylic, silicone, polyurethane and epoxy, and is provided on one or both surfaces of the substrate. The knitted fabric adhesive tape according to any one of the above items (1) to (5), which is applied in a thickness of 5 to 200 µm, preferably 10 to 100 µm.
[0015]

In the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention, since the base material is a knitted fabric, the warp yarn is firmly fixed, and as a result, the weft yarn is also firmly fixed. In addition to controlling the processing conditions and the adhesion of the laminated resin has been improved by the anchor treatment, appropriate hand-cutting properties have been given in both the vertical and horizontal directions. The appearance of the fractured surface when cut by hand is extremely good.
[0016]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a knitted fabric as a base material of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention, and shows a configuration of a knitted fabric 3 in which a weft 2 is inserted into a warp 1 singly knitted.
[0017]
FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the pressure-sensitive adhesive 6 coated on one side with the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention. An anchor treatment layer (AC treatment layer) 4 is formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the knitted fabric 3 and a heat-meltable resin is formed thereon. And a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 6 are provided.
[0018]
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a double-sided tape coated with the pressure-sensitive adhesives 6-1 and 6-2 on both sides using the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention. Layer 5 is formed. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 6-1 and 6-2 may be the same or different kinds of adhesives.
[0019]
The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention has a vertical / horizontal direction tensile strength of 5 to 2000 N / 25 mm width, preferably 10 to 500 N / 25 mm width, and a vertical / horizontal tear strength of 0.1 to 25 N, preferably 0 to 25 N, respectively. .1 to 10 N, elongation in the vertical direction is in the range of 5 to 75%, preferably 10 to 30%. This is also a knitted cloth adhesive tape in which the direction of tearing of the substrate does not skew and the cut does not fluff.
If the tensile strength in the vertical / horizontal direction is less than 5 N / 25 mm, the binding strength is poor and thus impractical. If the tensile strength is more than 500 N / 25 mm, the strength is too strong and suitable hand-cutting properties are not exhibited.
When the tear strength in the vertical and horizontal directions is less than 0.1 N, the sheet is easily cut by impact and is not practical. Conversely, when it exceeds 25 N, suitable hand-cutting properties are not exhibited.
If the elongation in the vertical direction is less than 5%, it is difficult to adhere to a curved surface because of poor followability to an adherend, and the impact resistance is also low. On the other hand, if it exceeds 75%, the elongation is too large, so that a suitable hand cutting property cannot be obtained.
[0020]
The knitted fabric used as the base material in the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention is a warp yarn, a woolen yarn, a cotton yarn, a staple polyester twisted yarn, a cotton-polyester twisted yarn, or a polyester filament, a polyacryl filament, a nylon filament, a polypropylene filament, or the like. Multifilaments and the like are used, and those having a fineness of 10 to 1000 denier, preferably 20 to 500 denier have a good balance of substrate strength, hand-cutting property and elongation.
[0021]
When the fineness of the warp is less than 10 denier, the base material strength required for the adhesive tape for packing and curing cannot be obtained. Conversely, when the denier exceeds 1000 denier, the strength and elongation become too large, so that appropriate hand-cutting property is obtained. No longer available.
The number of warp yarns is preferably in the range of 10 to 40 yarns / inch in order to obtain an appropriate substrate strength and hand-cutting property.
When the number of warp yarns is less than 10 yarns / inch, the strength of the base material is low and it is not practical. Further, since the interval between the warp yarns is too wide, the linearity of the cut surface is lost when the hand is cut. Conversely, if the number exceeds 40 pieces / inch, the strength balance in the weft direction is lost and the hook is easily torn, which is disadvantageous in cost.
[0022]
Flat yarn of weft is a thin film formed by melting and extruding a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene from a T-die or a circular die, and the addition of modifiers such as fillers to the film is particularly limited. Not something. The fineness is preferably from 50 to 1000 denier, more preferably from 100 to 500 denier, in view of the balance between the hand-cutting property in the vertical direction and the thermal deterioration during lamination. When the fineness of the weft is less than 50 deniers, there is a disadvantage that it is easy to tear when cut by hand under the influence of thermal degradation during laminating, and when it exceeds 1000 deniers, the hand is moved in the vertical direction by hand. There is a disadvantage that it cannot be cut.
[0023]
The knitted fabric having the above-mentioned weft used as a base material in the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention is subjected to a physical or chemical anchor treatment (AC treatment). Examples of the physical treatment include a corona treatment, a UV treatment, and a sputtering treatment, and examples of the chemical treatment include a treatment of applying a resin selected from an organic titanium-based, isocyanate-based, polyethyleneimine-based, and polybutadiene-based resin. Without these AC treatments, the adhesion between the surface of the knitted fabric and the laminate layer becomes insufficient, the linearity becomes insufficient when the formed adhesive tape is cut by hand, and the warp yarn becomes fuzzed on the broken surface. It is easy to come out, and there is a disadvantage that the appearance is impaired.
[0024]
The thermoplastic resin to be laminated on both sides of the knitted fabric subjected to the AC treatment is a resin having a melting point in the range of 65 to 350 ° C., and a lamination temperature of 200 to 500 ° C. and 5 to 250 g / m 2 , preferably 10 to 250 g / m 2 . It is laminated in the range of an adhesion amount of 100100 g / m 2 . These thermoplastic resins are selected from nylon, polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, linear polyethylene, branched polyethylene and the like.
When the amount of adhesion is less than 5 g / m 2 , the adhesiveness with the knitted fabric is not sufficient, so that the laminate layer peels off and the yarn is frayed, so that a suitable hand-cutting property cannot be obtained. Conversely, if it exceeds 250 g / m 2 , the weft is melted, and it is no longer possible to obtain linearity in the weft direction when the hand is cut.
[0025]
The pressure-sensitive adhesive used for pressure-sensitive adhesive processing on at least one surface of the laminate substrate is selected from rubber-based, acrylic, silicone, urethane- and polyurethane-based pressure-sensitive adhesives depending on the application. It is applied to the laminate substrate surface with a thickness in a range of from 200 to 200 µm, preferably from 10 to 100 µm.
When the thickness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is less than 5 μm, the initial adhesiveness is not sufficient, and adhesion to a rough surface or in winter is hindered. When the thickness exceeds 200 μm, unwinding becomes unusually heavy. However, the adhesive may protrude from the side surface of the scroll, causing a defect such as adhesion of foreign matter.

【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples. In the examples, "parts" represent parts by weight.
[0027]
Example 1
A 30 denier polyester multifilament (strength 1.3N elongation 28.5%) is knitted independently at a driving number of 24 yarns / inch, and a 300 denier high-density polyethylene flat yarn (strength 14.3N elongation 28.%). 4%) was inserted into the knitted fabric at a driving number of 17 yarns / inch and used as a base fabric. After subjecting the front and back of the base cloth to a chemical AC treatment with an organic titanate (trade name “TBT” manufactured by Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Co., Ltd.) so as to have an adhesion amount of 0.2 g / m 2 , a polyethylene resin (MFR = 5.0) ) Was extruded at 300 ° C., and the first surface was subjected to a laminating process to give 35 g / m 2 and the second surface to 35 g / m 2, and the first surface was provided with a silicone release agent (trade name “SRX211” Toray Dow). (Corning Silicone Co., Ltd.), a corona discharge treatment (15 kW / m 2 ) on the second surface, and an acrylic resin containing butyl acrylate as a main component so that the second surface has a thickness of 45 μm. A pressure-sensitive adhesive was applied to prepare a knitted cloth adhesive tape.
This knitted fabric pressure-sensitive adhesive tape was easy to cut linearly in both the vertical and horizontal directions, and the cut edge was clean without fluff and the knitted fabric did not skew even when pulled in an oblique direction.
[0028]
Example 2
A knitted fabric adhesive tape was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that a 50 denier polyester multifilament (strength 2.2 N, elongation: 33.0%) was used as the warp in Example 1.
This knitted fabric adhesive tape has a hand-cutting property that can be easily cut linearly in both the vertical and horizontal directions, and the cut edge is clean without fluff and the knitted fabric does not skew even when pulled in an oblique direction. The properties of the tape were as shown in Table 1.
[0029]
Example 3
After subjecting the first surface of the substrate of Example 1 to the same corona discharge treatment (15 kw / m 2 ) as that of the second surface, the first and second surfaces were each made to have a thickness of 45 μm. The same acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive was applied, and a separator was arranged on the first surface side to prepare a knitted fabric adhesive tape.
[0030]
Comparative Example 1
A cloth adhesive tape was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the knitted fabric substrate of Example 1 was a plain woven fabric.
This woven cloth adhesive tape was easily cut in both the vertical and horizontal directions, but the cut edge was irregular, the fluff was noticeable, and the commercial value was poor.
[0031]
Comparative Example 2
Laminating was performed in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the chemical AC treatment was not performed on the front and back surfaces of the base material to produce a knitted fabric pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet.
A knitted fabric pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet prepared using these base materials without AC treatment has insufficient adhesion between the knitted fabric surface and the laminate layer, and lacks linearity when the formed adhesive tape is cut by hand. At the same time, the warp yarn was liable to appear on the fractured surface as fluff, and the appearance was impaired.
[0032]
Table 1 shows the results of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 collectively. In addition, physical property evaluation was performed according to JISZ0137 and JISP8166.
