周知のように、通信カラオケシステムは、全国的規模で広域に存在する多数のカラオケ端末とカラオケ事業者が運営するホスト装置とを電話回線やＩＳＤＮ回線で結合したコンピュータ・ネットワークシステムである。このネットワークシステムを利用した付加サービスの一つとして、本出願人らは先に、電子メールシステムを開発した（特開平１１−１４６０９５号公報）。

前記の公報に記載されたシステムは、広く普及しているインターネット上の電子メールシステムとよく似た仕組みを採用している。つまり、通信カラオケシステムに属するあるカラオケ端末において電子メールを作成し、その電子メールを通信カラオケシステムに属する別のカラオケ端末にホスト装置経由で配達する仕組みになっている。受取人の指定情報としては、その電子メールを読むべき人を特定する顧客ＩＤを利用する。同様に、発信人の特定情報として、その電子メールを作成した人を特定する顧客ＩＤと、メール作成したカラオケ端末を特定する端末ＩＤとを利用する。したがって返信メールのやり取りも可能である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記の特開平１１−１４６０９５号公報に記載の通信カラオケシステムでは、カラオケ端末に装備されているマイクロホンおよびビデオカメラを使って音声・映像ファイルを作成し、これに発信人アドレスと受取人アドレスをつけて電子メールとして転送する。電子メールを受け取る側では、カラオケ端末に装備されている音声出力装置と映像出力装置を使って前記音声・映像ファイルを再生する。したがって、この通信カラオケシステムの場合、電子メールを作成する側および受け取る側の双方において、本来の機能であるカラオケ演奏を中断しないと、電子メールサービスを利用できなかった。

本発明者らは、たとえば１台のカラオケ端末を囲んで多人数でカラオケを楽しんでいる状況を想定し、気持ちよく歌っている人の妨げにならずに、みんなが見ているディスプレイに電子メールの文字メッセージを電子掲示板の感覚で表示できれば、自分は歌えないがみんなの歌を聞いている人や、自分の歌う順番がくるまで退屈な気分で待っている人なども大いに楽しむことができ、歌いそして聞くというカラオケ本来の行為と共存する新しい娯楽性を実現できると考えた。このような新しい楽しみ方を実現する機能を通信カラオケシステムに取り入れることが、この発明の目的である。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するための第１の発明は、電子メールをカラオケ端末に配達して表示する機能を備えた通信カラオケシステムであって、次の要件（１）〜（４）を備えるものとした。
（１）ホスト装置と多数のカラオケ端末が第１の通信網で結合されており、ホスト装置から各カラオケ端末に配信されるカラオケデータを各端末にて蓄積し、再生利用する。
（２）カラオケ端末は、文字や映像を適宜に表示するためのメインディスプレイと、このメインディスプレイにカラオケ伴奏音楽に同期して色変わりする歌詞画像を適宜な背景映像とともに表示する制御手段と、各端末に適宜に割り当てられた宛先ＩＤを前記メインディスプレイまたは別のディスプレイに適時に表示して利用者に告知する制御手段と、ホスト装置から送信されてきた電子メールメッセージを前記メインディスプレイまたは別のディスプレイに適時に表示する制御手段とを備える。
（３）ホスト装置には第２の通信網に接続したＷｅｂサーバーが連係している。このＷｅｂサーバーは第２の通信網を介してアクセスしてきたブラウザ実装情報端末に対して希望に応じて電子メール受付用Ｗｅｂページを送達する。その電子メール受付用Ｗｅｂページにはメッセージ配達先として前記宛先ＩＤを記入する欄があり、ここに任意の宛先ＩＤが記入されて前記ブラウザ実装情報端末からインターネットに送信された電子メールを前記Ｗｅｂサーバーが受信する。
（４）Ｗｅｂサーバーでは受信した電子メール中の宛先ＩＤの有無を確認し、あればその宛先ＩＤに相当するカラオケ端末を特定し、発信者およびメッセージ内容を所定のデータ形式で前記ホスト装置を経由して第１の通信網を介してカラオケ端末に転送する。

第２の発明は、第１の発明において、前記ホスト装置は適宜に選出した前記カラオケ端末に対して前記宛先ＩＤを割り当てて第１の通信網を介して通知するように構成され、前記カラオケ端末は前記ホスト装置から通知された前記宛先ＩＤを記憶しておいて適時に表示して利用者に告知するように構成されていることを特徴とする通信カラオケシステムとした。

（Ｄ）メッセージ表示処理は、ホスト装置より受信した電子メールを当該カラオケ端末の利用者に表示すること、
（Ｅ）ホスト装置は、Ｗｅｂサーバーと通信可能であるとともに第１通信網により各カラオケ端末と通信可能であり、宛先割当処理と、メール配達処理を行うこと、
（Ｆ）宛先割当処理は、選定したカラオケ端末に個別に、有効期限付の電子メール宛先ＩＤを割当てるとともに、割当てた電子メール宛先ＩＤを該当のカラオケ端末に送信すること、
（Ｇ）メール配達処理は、Ｗｅｂサーバーから受信した電子メールをその宛先ＩＤに該当するカラオケ端末に送達すること、
（Ｈ）Ｗｅｂサーバーは、ホスト装置と通信可能であるとともに第２通信網によりブラウザ実装情報端末と通信可能であり、メール受付処理と、メール転送処理を行うこと、
（Ｉ）メール受付処理は、ブラウザ実装情報端末に電子メール受付用Ｗｅｂページを送信するとともにブラウザ実装情報端末から宛先ＩＤの付された電子メールを受け取ること、

【発明の実施の形態】
＝＝＝通信カラオケシステムの基本機能＝＝＝
図１は本発明の実施例における通信カラオケシステムの構成例を示している。ホスト装置１とカラオケ端末２はそれぞれ電話回線あるいはＩＳＤＮ回線などの公衆網３に接続されている。ホスト装置１はカラオケ事業者によって運営されるコンピュータである。本実施例においてはホスト装置１がＷｅｂサーバーとしての機能も備えており、ＩＳＰなどを介してインターネット４に接続されている。インターネット４を介して送られてくるアクセス要求に応じて、蓄積されているカラオケ関連データ等を検索閲覧させるＷｅｂコンテンツが稼動している。

＝＝＝カラオケ端末への宛先ＩＤ付与と表示＝＝＝
