Description
【0001】
−ニップライン65(信号82)において糸の部分37のデポジット;
−空気ジェット紡糸ユニット(信号81)のスイッチオン;
−繊維吸引のスイッチオフ(信号80);
−早めの又は遅れたデポジットを行うことにより糸の部分37の固定は早めに若しくは遅れて行われ、後続するプロセスステップのための時間が長く若しくは短くなり;
−空気ジェット紡糸ユニット5として構成された空気式の撚り発生部材を早めに若しくは遅れてスイッチオフすることにより、糸の部分37の回転は、太さ及び糸構造として与えられる糸パッケージの夫々の重さ条件に応じて、影響させることができ、かつ;

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for automatically splicing a yarn to be newly spun to an existing yarn end as described in the preamble of
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to eliminate breakage of the yarn at the spinning position, especially at the spinning position with an air-operated spinning unit, tying or splice methods are known. In each case, the thread connection has a fixed length determined by the method. However, the disadvantage is that the weight of the engaging portion is more than twice the weight of the associated thread. In addition, special equipment is required for performing the method. That is, the device is capable of joining a stationary yarn end, i.e., an old yarn end and a newly spun yarn end. However, in the spinning position, in order to continue the spinning operation during the piecing process, it is necessary to provide a yarn storage device for receiving the yarn and supplying a yarn of a considerable length according to the spinning speed. The emptying of the yarn storage means prolongs the running time of the piecing process, which is particularly inefficient in spinning machines or the like in which a large number of spinning positions are located longitudinally.
[0003]
DE-A 37 06 728 has been proposed as a method for avoiding such disadvantages, in which the splicing is carried out by splicing roving. In a spinning unit particularly suitable for working with a pneumatic twisting member, the yarn end is from the inlet side via an immobile twisting member on the outlet side and on the side of the draft mechanism located in front of the spinning unit. Guided by the gripper. After the roving yarn held in the draft mechanism is released, the yarn end is pulled out by the drive of the bobbin, then the pressure roller for yarn take-up is engaged, and the yarn end is introduced into the gripping line of the exit roller pair of the draft mechanism. You. After switching on the pneumatic twisting member, the continuous yarn is pulled out by splicing the roving yarn.
[0004]
However, in this method, the time differences of the individual functions cause considerable differences in the quality and appearance of the spliced parts. This can also be observed at several spinning positions along the spinning machine or by changing the acceleration behavior as the bobbin diameter grows at the spinning positions.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
It is an object of the present invention to prevent yarn breakage at the spinning position and to perform splicing automatically on existing yarn ends without disturbing differences occurring in yarn weight and yarn strength. These requirements must be met for each spinning speed, fiber material and fiber thickness.
[0006]
This makes it possible to supply an optimal package and bobbin with a minimum splicing position and a good splicing state for subsequent processing such as weaving and knitting.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The features of
[0008]
The following conclusions are critical to the optimal arrangement of the present invention.
[0009]
A portion of the yarn including the yarn end is pulled out of the yarn package or bobbin, and is nipped at the nip line of the yarn take-up roller and the nip line of the exit roller of the draft mechanism. This thread piece receives a rotational moment in the spinning unit in the active state.
[0010]
In a spinning unit with a pneumatic twisting member, the yarn section is subjected to a change in the rotational speed until saturation is reached in the middle region, i.e. the rotational moment acting on the yarn section, the driving rotational moment and the nip line. The acting counter-moment reaches its maximum after a certain time. Observations have been made in this regard, the yarn quality only changing slightly. When the yarn end of the yarn part exits the fixed nip line of the exit roller pair of the draft mechanism, a drafted fiber bundle, for example, a fiber stream from the draft mechanism is carried to the vicinity of the yarn end emerging from the nip line, In this fiber flow, a new counter-moment is generated by the portion of the yarn that is released from the counter-moment. This leads to the formation of a spinning triangle, in which the yarn is spliced and pulled out without interruption. This process is also performed at maximum operating speed. It is known today that the speed of staple fibers at the spinning position is up to 5 meters / second. This fact imposes high precision requirements on the implementation of the steps of the process and their temporal arrangement. The variation in the mass of the sliver to be drawn occurs in the first stage when the draft mechanism is restarted. For this reason, the drafting device is started fairly early, and the fibers at the outlet of the drafting device are collected so that a uniform weight fiber flow is obtained as the yarn ends exit the nip line. Collecting the fibers is performed by suction. In this way, the fibers are constantly drawn out, ready to switch to the spinning path of the subsequent fiber stream, and reach the inlet area of the spinning unit according to the spinning conditions.
[0011]
The suction is preferably performed as follows. That is, the passage of the fiber to be sucked is extended to the vicinity of the opening of the spinning unit or the inlet of the spinning nozzle. In this way, the time for changing the direction of the fibers into the spinning path at a later point in time is kept as short as possible. In addition, this passage is also a position for the splicing operation of the fiber at the end of the yarn which is freed at a later point in time.
[0012]
An advantage of the present invention is that control is reduced to three stages that are precisely matched to one another with respect to the time critical to the piecing process.
[0013]
The main advantages of the method according to the invention are:
[0014]
This method is effective over the entire speed range of the spinning machine.
[0015]
The method can be practiced with cotton, mixtures thereof, or pure synthetic fibers.
[0016]
This method can eliminate yarn breakage in spinnable yarns of all thicknesses in a spinning machine.
[0017]
The throughput of the spliced yarn produced by the method of the present invention is usually higher than that of the yarn, i.e., the break resistance of the portion of the spliced yarn is from 85% to 110% of the yarn and the elongation is the yarn On average, it is 1% to 3% greater than the elongation.
[0018]
This method has high operation reliability. According to experience, the failure of the attempted splicing operation is almost always caused by a malfunction in the preparation stage such as the preparation of the yarn end. Success rates range from 98% to 100%. The method of the present invention does not cause a known problem such as opening of the yarn structure at the yarn end in a splicing step or the like.
[0019]
The method can be performed at operating speed, in other words, in a dynamic process. Therefore, no special arrangement such as an extremely long yarn stopping means is required.
[0020]
This method relies on operating speed as the only distinct variable. The operating speed is measured by a sensor and integrated in a calculation algorithm for the signal starting point of the individual process steps and can be automatically adapted to any speed changes.
[0021]
The piecing can be controlled by three or fewer settings. Given the existence of a predetermined dependency between these three settings, only two or one setting will be handled.
[0022]
The change in weight along the part of the spliced yarn will be similar to the deviation of the yarn itself. In principle, the weight variation is better than 60% of the weight variation of the normal yarn over a length equal to twice the average staple length if the spliced yarn portions are not formed to overlap.
[0023]
Advantages other than those described above will become apparent from the following more particular description of the invention, with reference to the following drawings.

With the aid of these parameters, namely the constant starting length and the spinning speed as a variable, the time delay SZ from the respective signal starting point, i.e. the process zero PO. 1 , SZ Two , SZ Three It is the purpose of the independent computer unit of the control device to determine the position and control the spinning position and the associated process steps. In order to obtain the required quality even after repeated piecing, an execution accuracy of more than 3 msec is required for the operation time. Time delay SZ defined in this way 1 , SZ Two , SZ Three Are transmitted as instruction parameters to the control device 52 (FIG. 1) on the machine side via the data transmission path. This data transmission path can be constituted by data lines (flexible shielded cables). The control device on the machine side is a so-called memory programmable control unit with a cycle time of less than 3 msec. The speed of the take-off roller 6 'is determined through the
[0043]
As will be explained in more detail below, instead of adapting to the signal start time of the current spinning speed, it is possible, as can be imagined, to change the starting length itself depending on the spinning speed. In this case, it should be noted that at fixed times fast for the individual functions, the differences in the quality of the piecing over the entire speed range are considerably greater. In addition, such an implementation is more expensive and less reliable in operation.

In order to effect the twisting moment of the air

A constant length of the spliced thread portion can be achieved by the above-described method, and the variation of the actual spliced thread portion is less than 50 percent of the normal thread thickness. The quality of the piecing part is comparable to the homogeneity, fluff, and strength of normally spun yarn.
[0050]
The effect of the method of the present invention on the quality of splices since fibers and fiber composites of different origins and materials and yarns of different thicknesses exhibit different properties in terms of strength, elasticity, flexural rigidity and sliding behavior. The possibilities are extremely simplistic. That is, for this purpose, a term is inserted into the algorithm for calculating the signal start-up time, which term comprises the distance over which the individual process steps obtain full operation for the yarn end 37 '. These are the functional distance FA 1 , FA Two And FA Three It is.

Deposition of yarn sections, i.e., controlled movement of yarn sections in an axial direction with respect to a delivery roller (outlet roller) where the yarn is in position with respect to the fiber stream. This position is important for the movement (course) of the mass of fibers in the part of the spliced yarn. The time at which this position is obtained is also important with respect to the stresses experienced by the yarn sections. To keep this stress within predetermined limits, the elapsed time of the depositing movement to reach the predetermined position and the dwell time at this position before other process steps are performed are kept as short as possible. Should. The delivery roller (outlet roller) adds a clamping effect to the yarn section, so that the yarn is thus "constrained", a twist stop is formed at the nip point and the spinning nozzle causes false twisting.
[0054]
2. Rerouting of the fiber stream from the suction source to the spinning nozzle. In this stage, the mass distribution of the fiber at the joint position (joint portion), in particular, the maximum thickness of the joint portion is defined by comparison with the yarn thickness (count).
[0055]
3. Twisting at the spinning nozzle. This step defines the strength of the joint.
[0056]
These three steps require precise time relationships between each other to achieve the desired results. The effect itself can be selected within certain limits. Normally, a joint having the maximum strength and the minimum displacement (unevenness) from the "normal" yarn count is desirable. However, in many cases the results are suboptimal.
[0057]
The meaning of these three steps and the spinning speed will be described again with reference to FIG.
[0058]
The spinning speed causes a "time frame" GZ at a predefined yarn length in the
[0059]
The measurement of the time frame GZ (yarn traveling time) is performed not from the process control zero point P0 but from a point in time short from the zero point. During this short interval, the pressure roller comes into contact with the drive roller and is accelerated to the spinning speed.
[0060]
The important thing about this time frame is the definition of the position of the yarn end when piecing. For the control according to FIG. 6, the time G0 at which the yarn end leaves the draft mechanism was used as a reference. This is not the point of the present invention. However, this facilitates the explanation of important time relationships, such as for obtaining optimal results.
[0061]
Working distance FA 1 , FA Two And FA Three Is important for the reference time G0. Working distance FA Three During this time, the axial depositing movement with respect to the delivery cylinder is completed and the yarn leaves the drafting mechanism at full delivery speed. Working distance FA Two During this time, the spinning nozzle achieves full operating performance in causing a twisting effect. Working distance FA 1 By the time elapse, the suction effect generated by the

Comparison with
In the new process, a fiber stream is generated and guided adjacent to the yarn section. However, initially they are carried separately from the yarn. In this embodiment, the morphology of the fiber stream, especially of the drawn fiber, is substantially maintained. This flow is therefore adapted to the fiber flow supplied to the spinning nozzle from the drafting mechanism during normal operation. In any case, it has a predetermined shape. When the part to be spliced is formed, the fiber stream is shifted and fed to the spinning nozzle instead of the discharge means.
[0063]
In the system of
[0064]
In the process according to the invention, the fiber stream is still being sent, while the twisting of the yarn sections also takes place. This has two effects. First, the false twist twisting spinning process is effective, in principle, from the moment the fiber stream is fed to the spinning nozzle along with a portion of the yarn. When yarn production starts only after displacement of the fiber stream, loose fibers must be considered on the mantle surface of the yarn until the start and completion of the normal process. Secondly, while exiting the drafting mechanism, the end of the previously stiffly guided section of the overtwisted yarn is now suddenly released and the narrow space between the delivery roller and the spinning nozzle is reduced. Within a short period of time (hurl around). During this very short time, the yarn ends collect the fibers from the fiber stream and help displace the fiber stream throughout the spinning nozzle. The thread pulls the fiber "behind itself."
[0065]
In the process of
[0066]
Further, if the blown air flow is continued until the yarn end exits the draft mechanism, not only does the supplied fiber flow deviate the fibers, but also the released yarn end deviates from the yarn path. . If the formation of twists in the yarn produced by the spinning nozzle is to take place only at this point, it is necessary to take account of uncontrolled spinning conditions, at least for a short period of time. This system does not give optimal and reproducible results.
[0067]
In the method proposed here, two "suction fields" are created and maintained at the same time, a suction field for the discharge system and a suction field for the spinning nozzle. The plurality of suction effects are mixed at the delivery section of the draft mechanism. The suction of the delivery system should produce a strong suction effect in the direction in which the fibers are about to be bent from the suction field of the spinning nozzle. However, portions of the yarn are still guided through the drafting mechanism and the spinning nozzle. Furthermore, due to the excessive twisting, it is held rigidly between the elements, which is effective for clearly separating the fiber stream from the yarn section.
[0068]
If the suction effect of the discharge is strong enough to remove the fibers from the spinning passage, the suction effect of the discharge is rapidly disrupted, ensuring a reacquisition of the fiber stream by the suction field of the spinning nozzle. This is desirable because the deviation of the fibers from the spinning path due to suction is minimized and the deviation during return to the spinning path is appropriately reduced. Thus, acceptable and favorable results for known techniques can be achieved without adjusting the system to optimal settings. Above all, the controllability of the new method is of great benefit. And the possibility of good reproducibility can be increased. There is no need to strive to impose hard limits (maximum values) to achieve this advantage.
[0069]
In order to emphasize these advantages, the achievable effects will be described with reference to FIG. This diagram represents the "mass curve" of the yarn, that is, the weight change of the fiber in the yarn cross section over time. Fiber weight is represented on the vertical axis and time is represented on the horizontal axis. The "curve" consisting of non-break lines is the weight curve of a normally spun yarn (= "100%").
[0070]
Dashed line FA shows the result achieved by early swirling of the fiber stream to the spinning nozzle. The mass curve typically deviates from the curve by 100 percent and remains at this level until a portion of the yarn exits the spinning nozzle. Dashed line SA is the result obtained when the fiber flow is swirled with a delay. Mass curves fall from normal values. The lower limit of this deviation is determined by the yarn count and the ultimate spinning limit of the fiber. If the normal mass curve is already near the final spinning limit, even a very downward deviation will cause a new yarn break.
[0071]
The dash-dot curve GR shows good results for normal consumption. The mass curve shifts upward for a short period of time (approximately 170% is usually acceptable), but quickly returns to normal levels. Thus, the time and length of this mass change is reproducible. To achieve optimal results, the distribution of this function should not be longer than 3 ms. This length of 3 milliseconds is equivalent, for example, to a yarn length of approximately 15 mm at a delivery speed of 300 meters per minute.
[0072]
As already mentioned above, the strength of the yarn part is highly dependent on whether the formation of twist at the spinning nozzle has started sufficiently strongly. If we wait until the yarn end leaves the draft mechanism, there will be relatively little rotation in the area of the spliced part and the yarn strength in this area will drop sharply.
