Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a bicycle generator, and more particularly, to a bicycle power generator called a hub dynamo in which a generator is built in a hub of a bicycle wheel. About the machine. In a conventional bicycle, a headlight is provided forward and a taillight is provided at the rear of the bicycle backward to ensure safety at night. The reflector that reflects the light of the vehicle behind can be replaced with a taillight or attached to the pedal. On the other hand, the side of the bicycle is provided with a reflector attached thereto, or an exposure window is provided on the side of the headlight (actually 4-54069) to notify the position of the bicycle. As described above, a headlight, a taillight, a reflector, or the like is attached in the front-rear direction in order to obtain the safety of a bicycle at night. Is
There are reflectors mounted on wheels or exposure type headlights, but the reflection efficiency of the reflectors must be reduced due to aging and contamination due to use. When the lights are off, it is difficult to inform the position of the bicycle, which is still unsafe. [0004] The present invention relates to a bicycle generator in which a magnet is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of a hub body rotatably mounted on a hub shaft and a stator is fixed to the hub shaft.
A light-emitting body is provided on the hub axle to reliably inform the position of the bicycle to further improve safety, and to simplify the structure and to provide the bicycle at a low cost. According to a first aspect of the present invention, a magnet is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of a hub body rotatably mounted on a hub shaft, and a stator is mounted on the hub shaft. In the bicycle generator fixed, the hub axle has an output terminal for extracting electric power, and an output terminal for holding the output terminal.
A terminal board made of an insulating material and connected to the output terminal before
The luminous body mounted on the terminal board and the terminal board are covered.
A protective cover for covering the output terminal and the luminous body, wherein at least a portion of the protective cover facing the luminous body is made of a translucent material. [0008] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a bicycle power generating apparatus to which the present invention is applied. Reference numeral 1 denotes a hub body which supports one end of a spoke of a wheel and rotates with the rotation of the wheel.
Is composed of a housing case 2 and a case cap 3 for covering the case 2. An annular yoke 4 is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the housing case. Magnets 5 having N poles and S poles alternately are fixed with an adhesive or the like. An outer ring 8 of a bearing (L) 6 is mounted on one opening of the casing 2, and a bearing (R) 7 is mounted on the other opening.
The case cap 3 on which the outer ring 9 is mounted is covered. Therefore, the hub body 1 is rotatably mounted on the hub shaft 10 by the bearing (L) 6 and the bearing (R) 7. The hub shaft 10 is integrated with a spindle 13 which is mounted on the inner races 11, 12 of the bearings (L) 6 and (R) 7, and the spindle 13 is provided with a stator holder. The stator 14 is fixed via the same. A generator coil 16 is fitted inside a stator core 15 of the stator 14. Lead wire of generator coil 1
7 is led out of the bearing (R) 7 through the slot 18 of the spindle 13. 19 is the hub shaft 10
Is a terminal board of the output terminal 20 which is mounted on the shaft. further,
On the outside of the terminal board 19, a protective cover 21 is mounted. 22 is a washer and 23 is a nut. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, a light emitting body 24 is provided on the terminal board 19 of the output terminal 20.
Is integrally provided. 26
Is a resistor for electrically connecting to an output terminal when the light-emitting body is a semiconductor light-emitting element (hereinafter referred to as LED). If the light emitter 24 is a special light bulb, this resistor may be omitted. In addition, protective cover 2
Reference numeral 1 denotes a light-transmitting material at least in a portion facing the light-emitting body 24. In this embodiment, the entire protective cover is made of a light-transmitting material, for example, a synthetic resin material. In the vicinity of the shaft hole 27, a wiring 2 connected to the light emitting body 24 is provided.
8 is provided. Reference numeral 30 denotes a wiring insertion hole. 31 is a protection part for the output terminal. It is even more effective if a light reflector is provided in a part of the protective cover-21. Next, the procedure for assembling the bicycle generator according to the present invention will be described. As shown in the drawing, left and right bearings (L) (R) 6, 7 are fitted via a spindle 13 to a hub axle 10 which also serves as an axle of a bicycle. Are fixed to the outer rings 8 and 9 of the bearings 6 and 7, respectively. However, before the case cap 3 is fitted to the housing case 2, a generator stator 14 is incorporated in the spindle 13. At this time, the lead wire 17 of the power generation coil of the stator 14 passes through the slot 18 of the spindle 12 and is led out of the inner ring 12 of the bend ring (R) 7. The lead wire 17 is soldered to an output terminal 20 held on a terminal board 19 which is mounted on the hub shaft 9. The terminal board 19 has a light emitting body (LED) 24
, And one terminal thereof is electrically connected to the output terminal 20 or a lead through a resistor 26. The other terminals are connected to the mounting nut 23 when the protective cover is covered.
Is electrically connected to the hub axle when tightening. At this time, if the light emitting body is not an LED, the resistor 26 may be omitted. Therefore, when this hub generator is mounted on the bicycle A as shown in FIG. 4 and the wheel B is rotated, the light emitting element or LED emits light by the output of the generator, and the light is dispersed by the protective cover. Let me be around you, and evoke the presence of the bicycle. In this case, when the generator is running at low speed, the LED
Keeps blinking at a low speed, and blinks at a high speed as it rotates at a high speed (actually, it seems to be continuously lit when blinking at a high speed), so that the awareness of the surroundings of the bicycle can be further increased. As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the so-called hub generator, the hub axle has an output terminal for extracting electric power and the output terminal connected to the output terminal. Since the luminous body and the light-transmitting cover which covers these output terminals and the luminous body are provided, when the wheel rotates, the luminous body surely emits light by the generated power, and the reflection efficiency is reduced as in the conventional product. It is possible to eliminate the inconvenience of notifying the location of the bicycle due to a decrease in light emission or a failure to emit light due to a power failure, which leads to insecurity. Furthermore, since it can be provided by adding a small number of parts at the time of assembling the generator, there is no need to separately provide a light-emitting device unlike a conventional product, and safety can be improved at low cost. Furthermore, by using the hub generator and the luminous body, it blinks at a low speed when the generator rotates at a low speed, and blinks at a high speed as the generator rotates at a high speed, further increasing the awareness of the surroundings of the bicycle. I can do it. In addition, since the terminal board is used for holding the light emitter and the protective cover for the output terminal is also used as the protective cover for the light emitter, the number of parts can be greatly reduced.
