Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a fuel for a bus provided between a side surface of a chassis frame and an outer plate of a bus for mounting a box-shaped fuel tank on the bus. The present invention relates to a tank supporting device. 2. Description of the Related Art A bus is provided with a box-shaped fuel tank for storing light oil or the like, which is a fuel for an engine. By storing fuel in the fuel tank and supplying the fuel to the engine during traveling, the bus can continue traveling and move passengers far away. On the other hand, auxiliary equipment such as an air conditioner and an air tank are arranged in the space under the seat of the bus, and a luggage room for accommodating passengers' luggage, etc.
In a nighttime bus in which a named driver rides, an underfloor room such as a nap room in which the driver takes a nap or takes a rest is provided under the floor of the bus. For this reason, in this type of bus, the fuel tank is usually provided between the side of the chassis frame on the rear side of the bus and the outer plate of the bus. As shown in FIG. 4, a conventional support device for mounting a fuel tank 1 for a bus is composed of a pair of vertical members 3, 3 whose upper ends are fixed to the side surface of a chassis frame 2 at intervals.
A pair of horizontal members 6, 6 each having one end connected to the lower end of the pair of vertical members 3, 3 and the other end provided at an interval toward the outer plate 4 of the bus; Member 6,
6 which are connected to each other and which are fixed to the outer plate 4
And those with A pair of vertical members 3,3
And the pair of horizontal members 6 and 6 are each formed of a rectangular cylindrical rod-shaped member, and this rod-shaped member is welded at its end, and the reinforcing plate 8 is welded to the welding location from both sides. Further, mounting plates 9, 9 for mounting the vertical members 3, 3 on the chassis frame 2 are separately welded to the upper portions of the vertical members 3, 3, respectively. The vertical members 3 are attached to the chassis frame 2. Further, the connection of the horizontal members 6 and 6 by the bracket 7 is performed by screwing bolts 7a inserted into the front and rear portions of the bracket 7 from the front and rear directions of the bus. In such a fuel tank supporting device, the box-shaped fuel tank 1 is connected to a pair of horizontal members 6 and 6.
The fuel tank 1 can be arranged between the side surface of the chassis frame 2 of the bus and the outer plate 4 of the bus by supporting the vehicle on the bracket 7. However, in the above-described conventional fuel tank supporting apparatus, the vertical members 3, 3 each formed of a rectangular rod-shaped member and the horizontal members 6, 6 are formed by welding. However, there is a problem that the supporting device itself becomes very expensive. In addition, since the reinforcing plate 8 is welded from both sides to the welding location and the mounting plate 9.9 is separately welded to the upper portions of the vertical members 3, the weight of the support device itself increases. Further, in mounting the bracket 7, there is also a problem that the mounting is not easy because there is no means for temporarily fixing the bracket 7 to the horizontal members 6, 6 before mounting by the bolts 7a of the bracket 7. On the other hand, the fuel tank 1 of the bus needs to be disposed between the side of the chassis frame 2 of the bus and the outer plate 4 of the bus. It is necessary to absorb a dimensional error occurring during the mounting. An object of the present invention is to provide an inexpensive and lightweight supporting device for a bus fuel tank. It is another object of the present invention to provide a bus fuel tank support device that can easily absorb a dimensional error generated between a chassis frame and an outer plate. Means for Solving the Problems The invention according to claim 1 is:
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, each upper end 22a, 22a is Ba
A pair of vertical members 22 , 22 fixed to the side surface of the chassis frame 16 at intervals, and a pair of vertical members 22, 22.
One end 23a, 23a is connected to each lower end 22b, 22b of the base 22, and the other end 23b, 23b is provided with a pair of horizontal members 23, 23 provided at an interval toward the outer plate 17 of the bus .
And a bracket 24 connecting the pair of horizontal members 23 and 23 to each other and being fixed to the outer plate 17. The box-shaped fuel tank 14 is provided with the pair of horizontal members 23 and 23 and the bracket 2.
4 is an improvement of a device for supporting a fuel tank for a bus which is mounted on and supported by the bus. The characteristic configuration is that the vertical member 22 and the horizontal member 23 are formed integrally in a hat shape in cross section, respectively, and the flange portions 23c, 2 of the pair of horizontal members 23, 23 are formed.
One or more long holes 23d through which bolts 27 pass through 3c are filled with water.
It is formed in the longitudinal direction of the flat member 23 and is fixed to the outer plate 17.
The connection ends of the brackets 24 are flanged portions 23c, 23c.
Bolts that are placed in one or more slots 23d
27, it is fixed to the flange portions 23c, 23c . By forming the vertical member 22 and the horizontal member 23 integrally in a hat shape in cross section, the number of parts is reduced, the workability of the supporting device is facilitated, and the conventionally required reinforcing members and the like are used. Eliminates the need for welding work. By fixing the connection end of the bracket 24 to the flanges 23c, 23c of the pair of horizontal members 23, 23c with bolts 27, it is possible to temporarily fix the bracket 24 to the horizontal member 23. One or more long holes 23d through which bolts pass through the flange portion 23c are formed in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal member 23, and the bracket 24 is inserted through the long holes 23d.
Is fixed to the horizontal members 23, 23, whereby the mounting position of the bracket 24 is moved in the vehicle width direction along the elongated hole 23d. Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG.
In the space under the seat, a nap room where the driver takes a nap or a break alternately, and an underfloor room 11 also serving as a trunk room for storing luggage are provided. The underfloor chamber 11 is formed at an intermediate portion between the front wheel 12 and the rear wheel 13, and a box-shaped fuel tank 14 is provided on the left side of the rear portion of the rear wheel 13. The fuel tank 14 is provided between a side surface of a chassis frame 16 at the rear of the bus 10 and an outer plate 17 of the bus 10 via a support device.
As shown in FIG. 1, the support device 21 is provided between the side surface of the chassis frame 16 and the outer plate 17 of the bus, and includes a pair of vertical members 22, 22 and a pair of horizontal members 23, 23.
A bracket 24 for connecting the pair of horizontal members 23 to each other; The pair of vertical members 22, 22 have their respective upper ends 22a, 22a fixed to the side surface of the chassis frame 16 with a space therebetween, and the pair of horizontal members 23, 23 are formed at the lower ends of the pair of vertical members 22, 22, respectively. 22b, 22b each one end 2
3a and 23a are connected, and the other ends 23b and 23b are provided at an interval toward the outer plate 17 of the bus. Vertical member 22
And the horizontal member 23 is formed integrally by pressing a steel plate so that the cross section becomes a hat shape, and the first and second members are provided on both longitudinal sides of the vertical member 22 and the horizontal member 23.
Flanges 22c and 23c are formed. Vertical member 22
At the upper end of the first flange portion 22c, a mounting hole 22d for mounting the vertical member 22 to the chassis frame 16 via the first bolt 26 is formed. The upper end 22 a of the vertical member 22 is attached to the chassis frame 16 by being screwed into a female screw (not shown) formed on the chassis 16. The front and rear ends of the bracket 24 are connected to the second flange 23c of the horizontal member 23 so as to be mounted thereon.
3c is a second bracket for fixing the bracket 24 to the horizontal member 23.
A pair of long holes 23 d through which the bolts 27 pass are formed in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal member 23. On the other hand, the bracket 24 is a bracket body 24a formed by bending a steel plate into a U-shaped cross section.
And plates 24b, 24b welded for reinforcement on both sides of the bracket body 24a. When the connection end is mounted on the second flange portion 23c of the horizontal member 23, a mounting nut 24c is welded to the connection end of the bracket 24 at a position corresponding to the elongated hole 23d, and comes into contact with the outer plate 17 of the bus. A female screw portion 24d is formed at the position. To attach the bracket 24 to the horizontal member 23, the connection end of the bracket 24 is connected to the second flange portion 23 of the horizontal member 23.
c, and in this state, the second bolt 27 is inserted from below the flange portion 23c into the elongated hole 23d, and the second bolt 2 is attached to the mounting nut 24c fixed to the connection end of the bracket 24.
7 is screwed. [0012] In the bus fuel tank support device configured as described above, as shown in FIG.
A pair of horizontal members 23 connected by a bracket 24,
The box-shaped fuel tank 14 is mounted on 23, and the fuel tank 14 is fixed to the support device 21 by a band (not shown). The support device 21 to which the fuel tank 14 is fixed, connects the first bolt 26 to the chassis frame 16 through the mounting hole 22d.
By screwing into a female screw (not shown) formed in
The upper end 22 a of the vertical member 22 is attached to the chassis frame 16. On the other hand, a bracket connecting the pair of horizontal members 23, 23 to each other is fixed to the outer plate 17 at a side portion by a third bolt 28. In this case, the dimensional error generated between the chassis frame 16 and the outer plate 17 is caused by loosening the second bolt 27 (FIG. 2) fixing the bracket 24 to the horizontal member 23,
The bracket 24 is absorbed by moving the bracket 24 in the vehicle width direction along an elongated hole 23d (FIG. 2) formed in the second flange portion 23c of the horizontal member 23. Thus, the support device 21
The support device 21 supports the fuel tank 14 between the outer plate 17 and the chassis frame 16 by attaching the fuel tank 14 to the outer plate 17 and the chassis frame 16. As described above, according to the present invention, the vertical member and the horizontal member are formed integrally in a hat shape in cross section, respectively, so that the processing becomes easy and is conventionally required. Also, the welding work of the reinforcing member that has been performed becomes unnecessary. As a result, the unit price of the support device itself can be reduced. In addition, the number of components such as the reinforcing members required conventionally can be reduced, and a lightweight supporting device can be obtained. Further, since the connecting ends of the brackets are fixed to the flange portions of the pair of horizontal members with bolts, temporary mounting when mounting the brackets to the horizontal members becomes possible, and the mounting work is facilitated. Furthermore, since one or two or more long holes through which bolts pass through the flange portion are formed in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal member, the bolts fixing the bracket to the horizontal member are loosened to fit along the long holes formed in the flange portion of the horizontal member. By moving the bracket in the vehicle width direction, a dimensional error generated between the chassis frame and the outer plate can be easily absorbed, and the adjustment operation can be easily performed.
