ある。Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a composition for forming a coating layer of an anti-glare sheet provided on the surface of a polarizing plate and having excellent anti-glare properties and scratch resistance. More particularly, the present invention relates to a high-haze antiglare sheet formed by increasing the content of finely divided silica. 2. Description of the Related Art Hitherto, display devices such as LCDs, CRTs, and plasma displays have been remarkably developed. In particular, in conjunction with the high definition of LCDs, the antiglare surface has a more precise shape and A polarizing plate having a high haze has been required. On the surface of the polarizing plate, an antiglare coating layer was provided on one surface of a transparent sheet such as a polyester film, polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinyl chloride, polyether sulfone, or cellulose triacetate. Among these sheets, the cellulose triacetate sheet is excellent in terms of high light transmittance and no distortion to light. [0003] The antiglare coating layer increases the haze. As a light diffusing agent, inorganic powders such as silica, calcium carbonate and precipitated barium sulfate, organic fine particles such as polyethylene particles, polymethyl methacrylate particles and polycarbonate particles are used. Among them, silica powder is particularly suitable because it has a high transmittance to ultraviolet rays and does not hinder the curing of the ultraviolet curable resin frequently used as a binder. In addition, those obtained by treating the particle surface with an organic substance in order to improve dispersibility are preferably used. [0004] A reactive varnish is used as a binder for dispersing a light diffusing agent in order to impart adhesion to a substrate sheet, surface strength, and especially abrasion resistance. It is common to use an ultraviolet curable resin that is easy to handle from the surface. Further, if necessary, a surface is provided on the surface of the urethane-based primer in order to improve the adhesiveness. [0005] The anti-glare coating layer of a polarizing plate which has been conventionally used is considered to have a high anti-glare treatment surface with high color and high definition LCD. At the same time, precise shapes have been required. As the light diffusing agent, an optimal silica powder is conventionally used as a binder 10
In contrast to 10 parts or less with respect to 0 parts, it became necessary to contain a large amount equivalent to 10 parts or more, and in some cases 30 parts. What simply increased the amount of silica powder in the conventional binder, the adhesion between the coating layer and the cellulose triacetate sheet as the base sheet was reduced, and even if the anti-glare property was satisfied, the adhesion and scratch resistance were poor. There was a problem. The present invention is used for a cellulose triacetate sheet having high light transmittance and no distortion to light to meet the above-mentioned object and to meet the requirements of an antiglare sheet formed to have a high haze property. In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide an excellent anti-glare sheet without a decrease in adhesive strength and scratch resistance. [0007] In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides an antiglare coating layer provided on one surface of a cellulose triacetate sheet as an antiglare sheet substrate. Functional acrylate monomer, cellulose derivative,
And 10 to 30 parts by weight of silica with respect to the monomer. The anti-glare sheet 10 and the polarizing plate 11 provided with the resin composition of the present invention have a structure in which an anti-glare coating layer 2 is provided on one surface of a base sheet 1 as shown in FIGS. A polarizer 3 made of polyvinyl alcohol, an adhesive 5, and a transparent substrate 4 are sequentially laminated on a glare sheet 10 via an adhesive 5. In particular, the base sheet of the present invention for obtaining a high haze anti-glare sheet is a cellulose triacetate sheet which is excellent in light transmittance and has no distortion to light. It is preferably used as satisfying the requirements of. In order to form a precise, high-haze, anti-glare surface, a coating layer containing a large amount of silica is provided. The anti-glare coating layer 2 is provided to impart anti-glare properties to the surface of the polarizing plate and to provide abrasion resistance for maintaining the surface condition. The anti-glare property of high haze is as follows.
It is obtained by adding 0 parts or more. To obtain a desired high haze, 5 parts by weight or less of a cellulose derivative and 100 parts by weight of 100 parts of a trifunctional or more acrylate monomer, and 10 parts by weight
It is necessary to mix ~ 30 parts of silica. Prevents increase in the viscosity of the coating solution, in order to improve dispersibility, the particle surface of the silica is covered with chemically -CH 3 group is subjected to organic treatment that use those hydrophobic. As the binder resin, an ultraviolet curable resin having hardness and excellent scratch resistance is usually used. However, when a large amount of silica is added as in the present invention, the surface of the cellulose triacetate sheet as the base sheet is not used. Therefore, a coating solution is prepared by mixing a predetermined amount of silica into a resin composition comprising a monomer, a cellulose derivative, a reaction initiator and silicone as described below. The acrylate monomer having a bifunctional or lower functionality has a relatively low-density structure and is inferior in reactivity with a substrate sheet because it has no excess functional group.
In some cases, sufficient adhesion is not exhibited, and the hardness of the coating film is not sufficient, so that the scratch resistance may be poor. Therefore, it is preferable to use a highly reactive tri- or more functional acrylate monomer to form a structure having a high crosslinking density. For example, trimethylolpropane triacrylate, pentaerythritol triacrylate, pentaerythritol tetraacrylate, dipentaerythritol hexaacrylate and the like can be mentioned. The cellulose derivative is methyl cellulose,
It is used by selecting from ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate propionate, cellulose acetate butyrate and the like. The cellulose derivative contributes to the improvement of the adhesiveness of the coating layer to the cellulose triacetate sheet. However, when the amount is large, the hardness of the coating layer, which is a characteristic of the ionizing radiation-curable resin, is reduced.
Parts or less. Since the coating solution for the antiglare coating layer contains a large amount of silica, an increase in viscosity cannot be avoided. It is preferable to add a silicone varnish in order to improve the fluidity and maintain the scratch resistance of the formed antiglare coating layer. The polarizing plate constructed as described above uses a cellulose triacetate sheet as a base sheet, so that a primer for improving adhesion to a polarizer formed of polyvinyl alcohol is used. There is no need to apply a special layer, and a polarizer can be provided directly on the sheet surface via an adhesive, which is advantageous from the viewpoint of optical and durability. Further, despite containing a large amount of silica in order to obtain high haze properties, a cellulose derivative having good affinity for the cellulose triacetate sheet and a highly reactive 3
The resin composition composed of the functional acrylate proceeds without inhibiting the ultraviolet curing reaction. The formed antiglare coating layer containing a large amount of silica has good adhesion to the sheet, and works to maintain an antiglare sheet having a high haze, a dense shape, and abrasion resistance. Examples will be described with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 1, a cellulose triacetate sheet 80 μm as a base sheet 1 is coated with a (antiglare coating solution 1) having the following composition by roll coating. g / m 2 (solid content), and after evaporating the solvent, (80 W × 10 m / min. × 4p
