用いる通気口付き管継手に係り、特に、二階建て以上の
建物の内部に設けられた便器、洗面器などのトラップを
有する排水設備に接続する排水管の配管に用いるものに
関する。 【0002】 【従来の技術】従来、二階以上の建物に設置された便器
などの排水設備に接続する排水管を配管するときに、ト
ラップの封水性を有効に保持するため、一般的に採用さ
れている配管では、縦方向の排水管と横方向からの排水
設備に接続された排水管との合流部において満管状態に
なると、横方向の排水管は縦方向の排水管と合流する上
流側の空気が吸引され、便器のトラップなどの配水管路
内の封水が流出される問題がある。そこで、便器などの
排水設備の下流の管路に通気管を管継手(チーズ管)に
て接続する方法が採られている。 【0003】この方法では図3に示すように、便器1に
接続されたトラップの排出口2にエルボ3を介して略水
平に配管される横方向の排水管4を接続し、この排水管

が多くなるなどの配管施工に手数がかかる問題を有して

ため、この図4に示すように、排水設備の排水口に接続
したエルボ7の外側上部に水平方向に向けて通気口8を
形成した構造と、図5に示すように、エルボ9の内側下
部に上方に向けて通気口10を形成した構造を考え付い

手は、上端に上向きに開口した流入口を形成するととも
に、下端に略水平方向に向かって開口した流出口を有す
る大曲りエルボ体を備え、前記エルボ体の流出口の中心
延長線と流入口の中心延長線とが直交するこのエルボ体
外側略中心部から斜め上方に向かって45°の傾斜で通
気管に接続される通気口を開口したものである。 【0009】 【作用】本発明の通気口付き管継手は、上端流入口に便
