【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところで、上述した従
来のステップ取付作業では、ステップ１の嵌合部１ａを
横軸２の固定用カラー４へ嵌合させる際、この固定用カ
ラー４は横軸２に対して回動自在であるため、所望の方
向から振動等により重心方向へと容易に回動してしま
い、これにより、嵌合部１ａを固定用カラー４へ嵌合さ
せることは困難であり、作業は熟練した技術者の勘と経
験に頼って行われていた。

に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的は、ステップの嵌合
部を横軸の固定用カラーへ容易に嵌合させることのでき
る乗客コンベアのステップ取付治具を提供することにあ
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】この目的を達成するため
に本発明は、ステップをチェーンと連結された横軸に取
付ける際、前記ステップの嵌合部が嵌合され、前記横軸
へ回動自在に装着される固定用カラーを固定する乗客コ
ンベアのステップ取付治具において、前記横軸を嵌入さ
せるＵ字状の開口部を有し、前記横軸および前記固定用
カラーにそれぞれ吸着するマグネットを備えたマグネッ
トピースから成る構成にしてある。
【０００８】前記のように構成した本発明よれば、前記
ステップを前記横軸に取付ける際、マグネットピースを
前記横軸および前記固定用カラーにそれぞれ吸着させ、
この回動自在の前記固定用カラーを前記横軸に対して固
定し、この状態で前記ステップの嵌合部を前記固定用カ
ラーへ嵌合させる。これによって、ステップの嵌合部を
横軸の固定用カラーへ容易に嵌合させることができる。

テップ取付治具の実施の形態を図に基づいて説明する。
