【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、住宅の複数枚張られた
外壁ボードの目地に詰められるシーラントの端末部に生
じる形状異常を矯正するために取付けられるエンドキャ
ップに関するものである。

【従来の技術】図３に示す如く住宅の複数枚張られた外
壁ボードＢの目地Ｍにシーラントが詰められるが、外壁
に設けられた窓ｗやドアｄ等の周縁部に交わる部分＊で
は図４に示す如くシーラントＳの端末部はタレＴやヒケ
ｈといった形状異常を生じる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記のようにシーラン
トＳの端末部に形状異常を生じることは、外観上及び止
水性に問題があった。そこで、本発明はかかる従来の課
題に鑑みて、シーラントの端末部の形状異常を矯正する
ための外壁目地のシーラント用エンドキャップを提供す
ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】かかる目的を達成するた
めに本発明の構成は、図１及び図２に示すように、複数
枚張られた外壁ボードＢの目地Ｍに詰められるシーラン
トＳの端末部に取付けられるエンドキャップ１が、シー
ラントＳの端末部に接する傾斜面２を有し上記目地Ｍに
はめ込まれる三角体３と、該三角体３の端面に固着され
両側の延長部４ａで上記外壁ボードＢの端面に当接する
薄板状のプレート４とから成るものである。

【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を図に基づいて詳細に
説明する。図１において、１はプラスチックまたはゴム
材よりなるエンドキャップで、傾斜面２を有する三角体
３と該三角体３の端面に固着し両側に延長部４ａを有す
る薄板状のプレート４とからなる。図３に示す住宅の外
壁ボードＢの目地Ｍの窓枠ｗに交わる端末部＊におい
て、図２に示す如く先に上記エンドキャップ１が三角体
３を目地Ｍに押し込まれると共に、プレート４の両側延
長部４ａを外壁ボードＢの端面に当接させて取付けられ
る。次いで、変成シリコン、ウレタン系シーリング材等
よりなるシーリングＳが目地Ｍに流し込まれて詰めら
れ、その端末部は上記エンドキャップ１の傾斜面２に乗
り上がるようにして略平坦状をなし、図示のようにヒケ
ｈはほんの僅か生じるのみである。
【０００６】上記プレート４の両側の延長部４ａはエン
ドキャップ１が三角体３を目地Ｍに挿入して取付けられ
る際に、ストッパーの役目をして取付け易くなり、その
際両面テープを使用すると一層効果が上がる。また、エ
ンドキャップ１の三角体３が傾斜面２を有しているた
め、目地Ｍへの挿入作業性が良くなり、また傾斜面２が
無くアングル状である場合のように角部に空気だまりを
生じシール性を悪くするという不具合を生じない。な
お、上記エンドキャップ１の各部の寸法Ｈ、Ｍ、ｔは以
下の如くである。即ちＨは目地Ｍの深さ以下、Ｗは目地
Ｍの幅以下、ｔは０．３〜１ｍｍ程度の成形上の最少厚
さが望ましい。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように本発明の外壁目地の
シーラント用エンドキャップは、住宅の外壁に設けられ
た窓やドアに交わる部分の目地において、流し込まれた
シーラントの端末部を従来のようなタレやヒケを生じる
ことなく形良く受けとめるので、外観上及び止水性が向
上する。また、該エンドキャップは傾斜面やプレートを
有する構成を成しているので取付け作業性に優れてい

Then, in view of such a conventional problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a sealant end cap for an outer wall joint for correcting an abnormal shape of a terminal portion of a sealant. [0004] In order to achieve the above object, a structure of the present invention is, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a sealant packed in a joint M of a plurality of outer wall boards B. An end cap 1 attached to the terminal of S has an inclined surface 2 in contact with the terminal of the sealant S and has a triangular body 3 fitted into the joint M, and extension parts 4a fixed to the end face of the triangular body 3 on both sides. And a thin plate 4 in contact with the end face of the outer wall board B. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an end cap made of a plastic or rubber material, comprising a triangular body 3 having an inclined surface 2 and a thin plate 4 fixed to an end face of the triangular body 3 and having extensions 4a on both sides. At the terminal portion * intersecting the window frame w of the joint M of the outer wall board B of the house shown in FIG. 3, the end cap 1 first pushes the triangular body 3 into the joint M as shown in FIG. The extension 4a is attached to the end wall of the outer wall board B in contact with the end face. Next, a sealing S made of denatured silicon, a urethane-based sealing material, or the like is poured into the joint M and packed, and a terminal portion thereof is substantially flat so as to ride on the inclined surface 2 of the end cap 1. Thus, sink marks h occur only slightly. The extension portions 4a on both sides of the plate 4 function as stoppers when the end cap 1 is attached by inserting the triangular body 3 into the joint M, and can be easily attached. The effect goes up. Further, since the triangular body 3 of the end cap 1 has the inclined surface 2, the workability of insertion into the joint M is improved, and air is trapped at the corner as in the case where the inclined surface 2 is not angled. And the problem of deteriorating the sealing performance does not occur. The dimensions H, M, and t of each part of the end cap 1 are as follows. That is, H is preferably equal to or less than the depth of the joint M, W is equal to or less than the width of the joint M, and t is desirably a minimum thickness on molding of about 0.3 to 1 mm. [0007] As described above, the sealant end cap for the outer wall joint according to the present invention can be used to seal the terminal portion of the poured sealant at the joint where the window or door provided on the outer wall of the house intersects. Since it is well received without causing sagging and sink marks as in the prior art, the appearance and the waterproofness are improved. Further, since the end cap has a configuration having an inclined surface and a plate, it is excellent in mounting workability.
