2. Description of the Related Art When printing with an offset printing machine,
Foreign matter such as ink, paper powder, powder, and dust may adhere to the surface of the printing cylinder. Such foreign substances may degrade the quality of the printed matter, and in order to maintain high quality, the printing cylinder surface is occasionally washed during preparation for printing operation or during operation, and the above-described surface adhering to the surface is removed. Foreign matter must be removed. After the printing operation is completed, the surface of the printing cylinder must be completely cleaned in order to completely remove the attached ink. For this reason, cleaning methods such as a brush cleaning type, a nonwoven fabric wiping type and a cleaning head type have been adopted as conventional techniques. Among them, the cleaning head method has already been disclosed by the present applicant in Japanese Patent Application No. Hei 6-221.
No. 857 and the like. In these conventional printing cylinder cleaning methods, in the case of printing manga books or newspapers, a large amount of paper dust is generated, resulting in a reduction in cleaning efficiency due to the treatment, and a large amount of water for processing the paper dust. When using, there was a problem that drying took time.

The above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application No. 6-221857 is an invention having many advantages. However, when the amount of paper dust is extremely large, the above-mentioned problem cannot be completely solved for the following reasons. Did not. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of a head portion of a conventional device. In addition, since the code | symbol is shared with the Example mentioned later, the same code | symbol is used about the same component. In this figure, when the paper dust attached to the surface of the printing cylinder 1 is extremely large,
The paper dust is not introduced through the cleaning member 19 but accumulates at the entrance of the cleaning member and spills out. Further, the paper dust introduced into the cleaning member 19 also adheres to the surface of the cleaning member 19, and the cleaning liquid is removed. There was a problem of hindering supply. Further, there is a problem that paper dust is deposited on the slit 22 and hinders discharge of the cleaning waste liquid.

In the printing cylinder cleaning device of the printing press constructed as described above, when the cleaning head of the cleaning device comes into contact with the printing cylinder, foreign matter such as ink, paper powder, dust, and powder adhered to the surface of the printing cylinder. Is introduced between a cleaning member mounted on the front of the cleaning case. At this time, since the cleaning member is in light contact with the printing cylinder, the introduction of the paper dust is performed smoothly. On the other hand, a cleaning liquid is supplied to the cleaning member from a cleaning liquid supply device, and a preliminary cleaning mainly for dissolving paper powder is performed.
Next, the washing waste liquid containing a large amount of paper powder obtained by the pre-washing is scraped off by a rear lip, and is sent to a wind box through a slit by inflow air sent from an intake port opened at an upper portion of the washing case. Can be A cleaning liquid supply nozzle is also provided above the lip, and the cleaning liquid (water) is also supplied from this nozzle. Thus, the washing waste liquid is smoothly discharged into the wind box through the slit. After the above state is continued for a predetermined time, the operation proceeds to the next main cleaning. The main cleaning is performed by extruding the cleaning member by driving the air cylinder and pressing the cleaning member against the surface of the printing cylinder. During this time, the cleaning member is supplied with the cleaning liquid from the cleaning liquid supply device, water is supplied from the nozzle above the lip, and the paper dust is almost discharged from the cleaning case. When the main cleaning is completed, a finish cleaning is performed next. The finish cleaning is performed in the same manner as the main cleaning at the positions of the cleaning member and the lip. The cleaning liquid is supplied to the cleaning member and the water is supplied to the upper part of the lip, and the remaining foreign matter such as ink residue is completely removed by the finish cleaning. During the cleaning operation, the cleaning waste liquid collected in the wind box is sucked and discharged by the vacuum device.

Next, the operation will be described with reference to FIG. During and after printing, the cleaning head 3 is separated from the surface of the blanket cylinder 1 and the cleaning member 19 is retracted. In the cleaning operation, first, the blanket cylinder 1 is rotated, the air cylinder 8 is extended, and the cleaning head 3 is brought into contact with the blanket cylinder 1. At the same time, the vacuum device and the cleaning liquid supply device are operated. Thus, the supply of the cleaning liquid and the processing of the cleaning waste liquid are performed. The cleaning liquid is supplied once per rotation of the blanket cylinder 1, and the supply time is appropriately adjusted. The supply start timing is set by position detection by the above-described proximity switch. The supply location preferably avoids the notch 5 shown in FIG. 3, but this position is adjusted by a timer. The cleaning operation is divided into pre-cleaning, main cleaning and finish cleaning.

According to the present invention, it has been conventionally difficult to perform the washing operation due to the scattering or blockage of the paper dust, although the paper dust is extremely adhered. However, according to the present invention, these problems can be solved. Since the amount of water and liquid used is small, the blanket and the like are not damaged, and there is no remaining cleaning liquid on the surface of the printing cylinder, there is an effect that generation of waste paper is small.
