However, in such a conventional air conditioner, since the outside air suction port is opened at the back of the outdoor unit, when the back of the outdoor unit is brought into close contact with the building outdoor wall, Since the outside air suction port is closed by the outer wall, the amount of outside air sucked into the outdoor unit is remarkably reduced, so that the heat exchange capacity is reduced. In addition, the load on the outdoor fan is increased, and the power consumption is increased.

The present invention relates to an air conditioner which constitutes a closed refrigeration cycle in which an outdoor unit is connected to an indoor unit via a refrigerant pipe to circulate the refrigerant, wherein the outdoor unit has an air discharge opening at a front portion. At the same time, an outdoor air inlet is opened on each of the pair of left and right side portions, and an outdoor unit that internally forms a ventilation path that communicates with these openings, and a semicircular periphery is formed around the rear of the central portion inside the outdoor unit. With a central divider
A compressor which is partitioned by provided, the respectively stored in the outdoor unit air passage their respective one end communicating with the pair of right and left outside air suction port right and left front central partition member
A pair of left and right outdoor heat exchangers connected to an end and having an overall shape of an outwardly convex arc, and the outdoor heat exchanger is housed in the outdoor unit inside the air discharge port. An outdoor fan comprising an axial fan for sucking outside air from an outside air suction port and for allowing the suction air to flow through the outdoor heat exchanger, and then discharging the air to the outside from the air discharge port. The heat exchanger arranges a plurality of pipes through which the refrigerant passes, in a row,
A plurality of fins are mounted on the outer periphery of the pipe row so as to be orthogonal to each other, and these pipes are bent into a required shape in a plane direction including the center axis, and the center axis of each of the pipes is Are decentered more inward in the bending direction than the center axis of the.

Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the outside air suction ports 8a and 8b are opened on both left and right sides of the outdoor unit 2,
Since the back plate 2d is closed, the outdoor unit 1 can be installed by bringing the outer surface of the back plate 2d into close contact with the outer surface of a building outdoor wall or the like. The width dimension WF of each fin 13b is, for example, 1.1 times the pitch PP in the direction in which the pipes 13a are juxtaposed, and is larger than the width in the conventional example in which the pipes 13a are provided in one row. It is slightly wider.

Incidentally, in the conventional outdoor heat exchanger having a single row of pipes, the fin width WFO is, for example, equal to the pipe pitch P.
The width in the width direction of the conventional outdoor heat exchanger having 3 1/2 / 2 times P and two rows of pipes is twice as large as the width dimension WFO of the conventional example.

As shown in FIG. 4, the outdoor heat exchanger 13 of this embodiment slightly decenters the central axis Op of the pipe 13a in the L-shaped bending direction with respect to the central axis Of of each fin 13p. The dimensions of each part in FIG. 5 are set so that, for example, the following equation (1) is satisfied.

For this reason, as shown in FIG. 4, inside the L-shaped bent portion B of the outdoor heat exchanger 13, it is possible to prevent the adjacent fins 13b, 13b from coming into contact with each other. Even inside the bent portion B, air can be passed through to exchange heat.

Therefore, when the outdoor heat exchanger 13 thus configured is operated for heating, the low-temperature liquid refrigerant flows through the pipe 13a and evaporates, and absorbs heat from the outside air during the evaporation.

At this time, if the moisture in the outside air is condensed on the outer surface of the fin 13b, and further freezes and forms frost, the heat exchange capacity is reduced.

However, the outdoor heat exchanger 13 of this embodiment
Increases the outer surface area by increasing the width dimension WF of the fin 13b to be larger than the fin width WFO dimension of the single-row pipe type conventional outdoor heat exchanger. And the fin temperature increases. For this reason, dew condensation and freezing of the fins 13b are reduced, and the necessity of defrosting is also reduced.

Further, even when frost is formed on the outer surface of the fin 13b, the thickness of the frost is small because the area of the outer surface of the fin 13b is larger than that of the conventional example. For this reason, since the decrease in the amount of air passing through the outdoor heat exchanger 13 can be suppressed to a low level, the decrease in heat exchange capacity is also small, and the heating operation can be performed for a long time. In other words, the frequency of the defrosting operation can be reduced to increase the heating capacity or efficiency.

Such an effect can be obtained with a conventional two-row pipe type heat exchanger in which the width of the fins is widened. In this conventional example, two rows of pipes are heated during the defrosting operation to melt frost. Since it is necessary, the amount of heat required for defrosting increases rather, and the defrosting operation time becomes longer. Since the heating operation is interrupted during the defrosting operation, the heating capacity or efficiency is reduced.

As described above, according to the present invention, the outdoor heat exchanger is entirely curved so that the fins of the outdoor heat exchanger are directed to the outdoor fan, and the central partition is provided with a guide for the ventilation path. As a result, it is possible to guide a smooth wind flow, improve heat exchange efficiency, and ensure quiet operation.

Further, since the center axis of each pipe is decentered inward in the bending direction from the center axis of the fins, it is possible to prevent the adjacent fins from contacting each other inside the bent portion to prevent the ventilation. This can prevent the heat exchange ability from lowering.

1. An air conditioner comprising a closed refrigeration cycle in which an outdoor unit is connected to an indoor unit via a refrigerant pipe to circulate a refrigerant, wherein the outdoor unit has an air discharge port opened in a front surface thereof. An outdoor unit that opens an air intake port on each of a pair of left and right side surfaces, and a ventilation path that connects these openings inside, and a semi-circular central partition around the rear of a central portion inside the outdoor unit. A compressor which is partitioned by a body <br/> and the pair of left and right outside air suction ports
Respectively stored in the outdoor unit air passage which communicates with the connected to the left and right ends of the respective one end before the center divider member
A pair of left and right outdoor heat exchangers each having an arc shape convex outwardly, and sucking outside air from the outside air suction port while being housed in the outdoor unit inside the air discharge port, An outdoor fan comprising an axial fan for allowing the suction air to flow through the outdoor heat exchanger and then discharging the air to the outside from the air discharge port. Are arranged in a row, and a plurality of fins are attached to the outer circumference of this pipe row so as to be orthogonal,
These pipes are bent into a required shape in a plane direction including the center axis thereof, and the center axis of each of the pipes is decentered more inward in the bending direction than the center axis of the fin. And air conditioner.
