Several methods have been proposed for an ink jet head used in an ink jet printer, but can generally be divided into two methods. That is, the first method uses a piezoelectric material and deforms the piezoelectric material by an electric pulse, thereby deforming a part of the ink chamber. Then, a pressure pulse is generated in the ink chamber, and the ink pulse is ejected from the nozzle by the pressure pulse. The second method uses a heating resistor and causes the heating resistor to generate heat by an electric pulse. Then, the ink in the ink chamber is boiled to generate a vapor bubble. The ink bubble is ejected from the nozzle by the vapor bubble.

There is also a problem that only ink that can generate vapor bubbles can be used. On the other hand, the first method does not have the above-mentioned problem. However, the first method requires a long time to stabilize the ink meniscus on the nozzle surface from which ink droplets are ejected, and it is difficult to increase the speed of the inkjet head itself. For this reason, it has not been widely used.

ェットヘッドの駆動方法を提供することを目的とする。However, the driving method of the conventional ink jet head has a low response frequency. This is because it takes a long time for the ink meniscus to change from the state of the ink meniscus shown at time E in FIG. 4 to the state of the ink meniscus at time G. Since the concave meniscus has no pressure pulse in the flow path, the shape of the concave and convex is repeated by natural vibration and returns to the reference state. Ink ejection is not executed in a state where no pressure pulse is generated in the flow path in the reference state (for example, a state of a convex ink meniscus at time B and a state of a concave ink meniscus at time G). Even if executed, the ink ejection becomes unstable. Therefore, even if a pressure pulse is applied at time A and an ink droplet is formed at time E, the next pressure pulse must wait until time H. That is, in order to increase the response frequency, the ink meniscus must be promptly returned to the reference state. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to solve such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method of driving an ink-jet head capable of increasing the response frequency of the ink-jet head by quickly returning an ink meniscus to a reference state and enabling high-speed printing.

Drive pulse generating means, pressure pulse generating means for deforming a part of the ink chamber by the drive pulse generated by the drive pulse generating means to generate a pressure pulse in the ink chamber, and a pressure generated in the ink chamber. An ink droplet generating means for discharging an ink droplet to the outside by a pulse, wherein the driving pulse comprises a first driving pulse unit for changing the voltage gently and expanding the ink chamber to make the ink meniscus surface concave. Abruptly changing the voltage to shrink the ink chamber, the ink meniscus surface A second drive pulse portion having a convex shape, and a voltage change amount is smaller than the second drive pulse portion, and the voltage changes abruptly so that the ink chamber is contracted to further grow the convex shape on the surface of the ink meniscus, thereby forming an ink droplet on the outside. And a fourth drive pulse section that replenishes the ink in the ink chamber by expanding the ink chamber with a smaller change in voltage than the first drive pulse section and a gradual change in voltage. characterized in that it is configured a drive apparatus of an ink jet head, further, in having a nozzle surface formed with an opening for the ink chamber and the ink ejection ink flow path is formed
In the method of driving a jet head , a step of generating a first drive pulse that gradually changes the voltage and expands the ink chamber to make the surface of the ink meniscus concave, and a step of rapidly changing the voltage to contract the ink chamber. Generating a second drive pulse for making the meniscus surface convex, and further increasing the convexity of the ink meniscus surface by shrinking the ink chamber by changing the voltage less rapidly than in the second drive pulse portion. Generating a third drive pulse portion for growing and ejecting ink droplets to the outside world; and changing the voltage more slowly than the first drive pulse portion to gradually expand the ink chamber, thereby increasing the ink in the ink chamber. Generating a fourth drive pulse section for replenishing A step of generating a pressure pulse in the ink chamber to deform the portion of the chamber,
Discharging an ink droplet to the outside world by a pressure pulse generated in the ink chamber.
