Description
The present invention relates to a stern fin suspended from the stern bottom.
Conventionally, examples of a ship having a stern fin structure include a technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-39394 and a technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005-88684.
The technology disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-39394 provides “a stern flow rectifying movable fin device that can reduce propeller vibration force and improve wake gain as much as possible to enable energy saving operation. The main wing fins that can be extended outward in the horizontal direction on both sides of the stern part to which the propeller is attached, and the wing fins provided in multiple stages, A stern having a sub wing fin movably provided in a direction and fin driving means for driving and controlling the sub wing fin and the main wing fin in a ship body, and changes depending on a load state, a ship speed, etc. The main wing fin and the sub wing fin are moved in accordance with the flow of the seawater in the part so that the flow of the seawater can be constantly rectified. "
By the way, in an enlarged ship having a wide bottom such as a tanker, the flow around the stern bottom stagnates at a position higher than the propeller tip height in front of the propeller, and this becomes hull resistance.
However, the technology disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 62-39394 and 2005-88684 cannot eliminate the stagnation of the flow around the stern bottom.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a stern structure that eliminates the stagnation of the flow around the stern bottom and reduces the horsepower during normal speed navigation of the ship.
In order to achieve the above object, the applicant of the present application has conducted extensive research and has obtained the knowledge that the above object can be achieved by attaching a fin having a predetermined shape to a predetermined part of the stern bottom.
The present invention is based on this finding, and the stern fin according to
Further, a stern fin according to claim 2 of the present application is the stern fin according to
In addition, AP is a rear perpendicular, Lpp is the length between perpendiculars, and Dp is the diameter of the propeller.
In the present invention, the position of the stern bottom as viewed from the ship side is a position higher than the propeller and higher than the propeller tip height, and the shape viewed from the side at this position is a trapezoid (bottom ≈ 5.00 % Lpp, height ≒ 0.1 Dp) The stern fin is suspended in a state symmetrical to the ship center line and opened toward the bow side, the bow side tip is 1.5 D P , the stern side tip There has been a 0.5D P.
This predetermined shape and stern fins suspended in a predetermined position eliminate the stagnation of the flow around the stern bottom, and the horsepower reduction effect during normal speed navigation of the ship is 1.0% to 2.0%. This was confirmed by an aquarium experiment. The water tank experiment will be described later.

First, the vertical line segment shown in FIG. 1 will be described.
The length between the vertical lines (Lpp), which is a unit of the length of the ship, indicates the distance between the rear vertical line (AP) and the front vertical line (FP). The length between the vertical lines is divided into 10 equal parts and sequentially from the rear vertical line side. In the coordinated numbered (Ordinate), the first delimiter is 1/10 Lpp (“1/10 Lpp” in FIG. 1 corresponds to this), and the AP and 1/10 Lpp are equally divided into 8 And coordinate [1/8], [1/4], [3/8], [1/2], [5/8], [3/4], [7 / 8]. That is, the distance from the AP side is 1/10 Lpp is 0.100% Lpp, and the coordinates [1/8], [1/4], [3/8], [1/2], [5 / 8], [3/4], and [7/8] are adjacent to each other at intervals of 1.25% Lpp (= 10.00% Lpp × 1/8).
