本考案は、自動車のドアミラーに固定設置して、前輪部付近を視認するための、フロントサイドアンダーミラーに関する。

【従来の技術】
自動車の前輪部付近を視認するサイドアンダーミラーは、トラックにみられるように、前輪より前に位置するバックミラーなどに設置するものが知られている。また、一部の乗用車（クロカンタイプ）でフェンダー部に設置するものが知られているが、それ以外の乗用車では該当するものは見当たらない。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
多くの乗用車では、前輪部付近を視認するための設置可能なサイドアンダーミラーは見当たらない。また、一部の乗用車（クロカンタイプ）にみられるフェンダー部に設置するサイドアンダーミラーは、前輪部付近の視認性は必ずしも良好とはいえず、また外観を損なうなどの欠点がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーは、ドアミラーに固定設置し、自在ジョイントでミラーの角度を調節して、前輪付近の視認性を得るものである。また、ほとんどの乗用車の既存のドアミラーに設置することが可能であり、良好な視認性が得られ、かつ外観の悪化は比較的小さいものと考えられる。

【考案の実施の形態】
図１に示すように、本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーを、自動車のドアミラーに固定設置することによって、前輪部付近を視認することが可能となる。

【実施例】
本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーを、図２（鏡面側からの外観図）および図３（鏡面の裏側からの外観図）に示す。

本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーを、自動車のドアミラーに両面テープやビスなどを用いて固定設置し、前輪部付近が視認できるように自在ジョイントでミラーの角度を調節する（図１）。設置に際しては、粘着テープ等を用いて仮設置して、前輪部付近が視認できることを確認しておく。なお、可倒式のドアミラーに固定設置する場合は、ドアミラーを折りたたんだ状態でドア等に支障がない位置に設置する。以上のように設置することによって、前輪部付近（図４の破線領域）を視認することが可能となる。

【考案の効果】
本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーを、自動車のドアミラーに固定設置することによって、前輪部付近を視認することが可能となり、路肩に自動車を幅寄せする場合など（特に路肩に障害物や段差がある場合など）に、有用と考えられる。さらに本考案によるフロントサイドアンダーミラーは、ほとんどの乗用車の既存のドアミラーに設置することが可能であり、外観の悪化も比較的少なく、また、その構造は極めて簡単で、軽量で丈夫かつ安価なものであり、実用性に優れたものと考えられる。

The front side under mirror according to the present invention is fixedly installed on a door mirror, and adjusts the angle of the mirror with a universal joint to obtain visibility near the front wheels. In addition, it can be installed on the existing door mirror of most passenger cars, and it is considered that good visibility is obtained and deterioration of the appearance is relatively small.

The front side under mirror according to the present invention is fixedly installed on a door mirror of an automobile using a double-sided tape or a screw, and the angle of the mirror is adjusted by a universal joint so that the vicinity of the front wheel can be visually recognized (FIG. 1). At the time of installation, it is temporarily installed using an adhesive tape or the like, and it is confirmed that the vicinity of the front wheel portion can be visually recognized. When fixedly installed on a retractable door mirror, the door mirror is folded and installed in a position where there is no obstacle to a door or the like. By installing as described above, it becomes possible to visually recognize the vicinity of the front wheel portion (the broken line area in FIG. 4).

[Effect of the invention]
By fixing the front side under mirror according to the present invention to the door mirror of the vehicle, it is possible to visually recognize the vicinity of the front wheel, and when the vehicle is approaching the road shoulder (especially when there are obstacles or steps on the road shoulder). Furthermore, the front side under-mirror according to the present invention can be installed on the existing door mirror of most passenger cars, has relatively little deterioration in appearance, and has a very simple, lightweight, durable and inexpensive structure.
