When the coupler 52 and the lock nut 54 for connecting the threaded rebars in a straight line are cast products, the wooden mold for the lock nut 54 is short in length, so that it can be vertically inserted. Although the slope for removing the mold from the mold end face is not required, the mold for the coupler 52 is considerably long in length, so that it can be traversed, and as shown in FIG.
Since the two-piece mold 61 is divided at the point 2, the end face 63 needs a slope for removing the mold.

[0004] For this reason, both end faces of the cast coupler are sloped, and a gap is formed between the contact end faces due to the contact between the inclined end face of the cast coupler and the non-inclined end face of the cast lock nut. In addition, a gap appears between the female screw and the male screw of the threaded bar screwed to the end face of the cast coupler and the end face of the cast lock nut. Therefore, the coupler
When the grout material is press-fitted from the injection hole 56 of the grout 52, the grout material overflows from between the end faces of the abutted coupler 52 and the lock nut 54, so that the grout material press-fitting time is prolonged, and a void is formed where the grout material does not reach. There was a problem that the resulting portion was corroded and the strength was reduced.

Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 7, the end faces 53 and 53 of the coupler 52 and the end faces 5 of the lock nut 54 are formed.
Since both end faces are cut so that they can contact with each other without any gap, there is a problem that the production cost of the cast coupler and the cast lock nut increases.

Further, in the operation of press-fitting the grout material from the injection hole 56 of the coupler in which the threaded bar is vertically connected,
The amount of the grout material flowing downward exceeds the amount of the grout material flowing upward, which is against the gravity.
Since 6 is in the middle of the coupler, there is a considerable shift in the timing of the grout material overflowing from both lock nuts abutting on the upper and lower ends of the coupler. For this reason, there have been inconveniences such as a longer grout material press-in time and an increase in grout material consumption.

[0010] Now, two screw joint rebars are cast couplers
And a taper hole of a cast lock nut screwed into each threaded rebar in a taper portion formed on a peripheral surface outside the female screw at both end faces of the cast coupler. When the taper angle between the taper portion and the taper hole is different, the outer peripheral edge of the taper hole contacts the taper portion, or the inner periphery of the taper portion. When the edge touches the taper hole and an annular projection protrudes from one of the taper portion and the taper hole, the taper portion and the taper hole are connected via the annular protrusion. When the taper portion and the taper hole have the same taper angle, they abut on the taper surface. And,
Since the female screw and the male screw to be screwed do not appear at the place where the taper portion and the taper hole contact, there is no gap at the contact position.

Further, a taper portion formed on the entire end face of the coupler connecting the two screw-bar rebars is screwed to each screw-bar rebar and the taper angle is smaller than that of the taper portion. When a cast lock nut having a small taper hole is brought into contact with the taper hole, the outer peripheral edge of the taper hole comes into contact with the taper portion,
If the taper angle is the same as that of the taper portion, the two tapered surfaces contact each other, so that there is no gap between the tapered portions in any case.

The injection hole for press-fitting the grout material of the cast coupler for connecting the screw-bar rebar in the vertical direction is located above the middle of the cylindrical portion. For this reason, the required amount of grout material supplied upward which must be supplied against gravity may be smaller than the required amount of grout material supplied downward. Therefore,
Since the difference in the timing of the overflow of the grout material from the upper and lower lock nuts abutting on both ends of the cast coupler is reduced, the consumption of the grout material can be reduced, and the time for press-fitting the grout material into the screw joint rebar connection portion can be shortened.

The caster coupler 3 has a hexagonal outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical portion 5 and a plurality of concave portions 13 formed on both outer peripheral portions slightly smaller in diameter than the hexagonal shape to form a contact surface with the concrete. In the inner surface of the cylindrical body 5, internal threads 7, 7 having the same pitch as the external threads 6, 6 of the thread-bar rebars 2, 2 are screwed, and an injection hole 8 for grout material press-fitting is provided in the middle. Ring groove 1 communicating
1, and taper portions 9 and 9 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body portion 5 at both end surfaces outside the female screw 7 and are made of cast iron or cast steel. Since the wooden mold for the coupler-3 is a split-in horizontal type, both ends of the wooden mold are provided with a wooden mold extracting gradient. The portion corresponding to the taper portion 9 of the wooden die is a peripheral portion outside the portion corresponding to the female screw on the end surface of the wooden die, and is further inclined from the gradient for extracting the wooden die.
