2. Description of the Related Art In a mobile communication system in which a service area is covered by arranging a plurality of radio base stations, a method of geographically reusing the same radio channel for effective use of frequency is used. For that purpose, it is necessary to perform radio base station arrangement and channel assignment based on accurate radio zone design. However, this may not be realized in a building or the like, and various channel allocation methods have been proposed for that purpose. A radio channel used by each radio base station for communication with a mobile station is determined by each base station based on past use results, that is, a radio channel used so that the probability of occurrence of interference is reduced by a learning effect. The scheme is one of them. In the case of such a conventional channel assignment method, each radio base station learns and stores the learned information in order to avoid the processing load of the control station.

The channel allocation method according to the present invention uses a radio channel used for communication with a mobile station by each of a plurality of radio base stations arranged to cover a service area of a mobile communication system and controlled by a control station. In the channel allocation method to determine the probability of occurrence of interference is small based on the innumerable channels or predetermined for each of the wireless base station at the start of operation when the wireless base station has no past use record or The group of innumerable channels is configured to be used first.

In this embodiment, one control wireless channel 51 is used.
And 50 wireless communication channels 1 to 50 are provided. Each of the wireless base stations 101 to 110 has a control wireless device to which the control wireless channel 51 is assigned and all of the communication wireless channels 1 to 50. A plurality of tunable communication radios are installed according to the traffic, and a control unit for controlling these two types of radios is provided. The mobile station 200 can tune to all 51 channels including the control wireless channel 51.

When a communication path is set between one of the radio base stations 101 to 110 and the mobile station 200, the radio base station uses the control radio channel 51 to tune to the communication radio channel tuned to the mobile station 200 by the channel designation signal. To the mobile station 200, tune the vacant call radio to the same call radio channel, and wait for the switching completion notification from the mobile station 200.
The mobile station 200 tunes its radio to the specified call radio channel, and when the call radio channel is usable without interference, sends a switching completion notification on the call radio channel. Returns to the control wireless channel 51 without sending the switching completion notification and waits. If the wireless base station can receive the switching completion notification, the wireless base station increases the numerical value indicating the use priority of the communication wireless channel,
If it cannot be received, it is reduced and stored.

By the way, if there has been no record of using the radio channel for communication in the past, the numerical value indicating the use priority is set to the same value for all radio channels for communication. If the system is to be used, when the system starts operation, all radio base stations will have the same priority in all radio channels for communication, and the name radio base station will use the first The radio channel is the call radio channel 1 which is the youngest channel, and co-channel interference is likely to occur.

However, in the present embodiment, when the operation of the radio base stations 101 to 110 starts, the control station 300 differs from the control station 300 as the lowest channel number used by each of the radio base stations 101 to 110, as shown in FIG. When the channel numbers are notified, the radio base stations 101 to 110 use the notified call radio channel when all the call radio channels have the same use priority, so that at least the first call radio channel is used. Can avoid co-channel interference.

In addition, a group of wireless channels 1 to 5 for communication is defined as a wireless base station.
The base station 101 notifies the base station 102 of the call wireless channels 6 to 10 by notifying the base station 102 of the call wireless channels.
For 101 to 110, the same effect can be obtained even if the communication radio channel with the lowest channel number of the notified group is used first.
