うに構成している。 図においては前記カバー1の加工部との対応箇所に開
口部1aを形成し、該開口部1aを塞ぐような扉11を成形し
パレットチェンジャ上に立設して構成したものを示して
おり、パレット交換の際には前記扉11がパレット旋回部
10aとともに動作するように設けられ、扉11が上下動お
よび回転可能なように開口部1aとの間には隙間を生じさ
せている。このため、扉部分がパレットチェンジャ側に
配設されているものにあっては、加工時においてもカバ
ーの扉の回転に係る隙間部分が存在しているのが現状で
ある。 また、図示は省略するがこの種の切削液飛散防止カバ
ーの扉には、回転式、スライド式あるいはヒンジ式など
により設けカバーの適宜箇所に配設しているものもある
が、どれもパレット交換に係る動作範囲内を開放状態に
して該動作に非干渉となるように構成している。

パレットを仕切るようにパレットチェンジャ側にまで張
出してなる固定カバー1の前面部で加工部と対応する位
置に非接触でパレットの水平回転が可能となるような逆
台形状の開口部1aを形成する一方、前記回転カバー2を
リフトストロークの上昇で開口部斜辺1b、1bとの隙間が
生じ、降下で開口部斜辺との重なりしろが生ずる寸法の
逆台形状に成形し、2つのパレットの中間位置となるパ
レット旋回部10aに立設して構成するものである。 すなわち前記回転カバー2にあっては、固定カバー1
に対して逆台形状の下底辺の長さが開口部1aのそれに対
してわずかに長く、またその高さは開口部のそれよりも
適当に短い寸法に設けてあり、該回転カバーと開口部の
夫々の下底辺が同一面上となる場合には回転カバー2の
両斜辺部2a、2aに固定カバー1との重なりしろとなる部
分D、Dが生ずるように成形されている。 これにより第3図に示すように、パレットチェンジャ
のパレット旋回部10aに立設された回転カバー2はパッ
ト旋回部のリフトストローク最下限で両斜辺部2a、2aに
最大幅の重なりしろD、Dが生じ、第4図に示すよう
に、リフトストロークの上昇過程で重なりしろの幅が次

カバーの上底辺と重複し、パレット旋回部の上昇、回転
時には自由端が柔軟に対応するようにのれん状に配設し
てなり、加工時の密閉状態を保持している。 また、符号4は加工状態を監視するために固定カバー
および回転カバーの適宜箇所に設けた監視窓であり、監
視に必要となる部分を切り抜いて透明部材を配設して構
成するものである。
