湿板4は略釣形に形成し、前記水槽部2内において直交
して組合される吸水板5を設けている。この吸水板5を
組合わすことにより間隔5aが保たれるとともに、吸水板
5は、前記水槽部2内において吸水口3から吸水された
水に浸漬され、吸水板5を介して吸水口3側の加湿板4
から順次水分が伝わり、加湿板4の間隔5aを通る温風を
加湿し、加湿された空気を室内へ送風するものであっ
た。

全て吸い上げられてしまうことがなく、反給水口側の給
水板突片へも水が届き吸い上げ可能となり、多数枚の加
湿板全てに水が供給できる。このため多数枚の加湿板へ
の均等な水の供給ができ、加湿板間へ温風を通すことに
より前加湿板より加湿されムラなく効率の良い加湿効果
を有するものである。
