てある。前記苗のせ台3には、突起付き無端回動ベルト
式の縦送り装置7を設け、載置苗を苗取り出し口4に向
けて送り出すよう構成してある。前記苗植付機構5は、
先端に取付けた植付爪8が揺動クランク機構9によって
ほぼ楕円軌跡を描きながら、前記苗取り出し口4から一
株づつ苗を取り出し保持して泥面内に植付けるよう構成
してある。そして、苗植付機構5の上部に、苗植付機構
5の苗取り出し作動に先立って、待機位置から送り出し
方向先端側の苗に向けて移動し、植付け対象苗を前記苗
取り出し口4に向けて押し出すとともに、後続苗を位置
保持させる苗保持具10を設けてある。詳述すると、こ
の苗保持具10は、前後一対の揺動リンク11a,11
bを介して伝動ケース2に枢支連結して四連リンク機構

端側が前記苗のせ台3側に近づくように傾斜した姿勢に
設定してある。このような非平行型不等辺四連リンク構
造とすることによって、図2に示すように、苗保持具1

ク11aとの連結点、即ち苗保持具10の後部側は上下
