Further, in the case of the latter type, in a state where the ridge-side molding portion of the lower-side roofing shingle member is engaged from the inside with the eave-side molding portion of the upper-side roofing shingle member, Is pressed from above, thereby elastically fitting the ridge-side molded portion of the lower side roofing roof plate member to the suspension member, which corresponds to the vertical fitting stroke required for this elastic fitting. In this case, similarly, the finished height of the engaging and fastening components after the roofing is increased, and here, in addition to the need for a separate suspender member, Because the thin steel plate itself uses the elastic fitting of the spring back to fasten the parts, if the rigidity of this thin steel material is high, the fitting and fastening will be difficult, resulting in poor workability and workability. There were various unfavorable problems such as remarkable decrease in

Therefore, according to the first embodiment, the respective operations of the mutual engagement and the fastening of the roofing shingle members (1) on the upper ridge side and the lower ridge side on the rafter members (21) are performed. Each is made in parallel with the roofing direction, not in the vertical direction perpendicular to the roofing direction as in the prior art, and at each position of mutual engagement and fastening, and furthermore, at the ridge side engaging portion (3). Since the space between the engagement groove (6) and the fixing projection piece (9) is separated only in the direction of the eave just to receive the holding portion (24) of the rafter member (21), these engagements are made. The groove (6) and the fastening projection (9) can be held substantially in the same plane, and as a result, the required height of the engagement and fastening components is reduced to the limit point as described above. Can be lowered.

Therefore, even in the case of the configurations of the second and third embodiments, the horizontal roofing shingle member (1) is moved from the ridge side as expected by the same operation as that of the configuration of the first embodiment. In addition to being able to be roofed up to the eaves side, almost the same operation and effect can be obtained, and a fastening projection piece (9) is inserted into the lower side of the engagement groove (6) so as to be overlapped with each other in the vertical position. Because of the matching, the configuration of the engagement and fastening portions is further reduced in size and rigidity, and the top portion (7) of the lower hanging part (8) on the lower eave side is connected to the upper building side. By press-contacting the back surface of the other end (2b) of the face plate portion (2) in the eave-side molding portion (4), it is possible to completely prevent infiltration of rainwater or the like.
