2. Description of the Related Art An EL element in which a light emitting layer exhibiting an EL phenomenon is sandwiched between electrodes is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-52884.
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, on a reflective back electrode 1 made of aluminum foil or the like, an insulating layer 2 made of yttrium oxide, silicon nitride, or the like, and a luminescent center made of manganese or the like are placed. The light emitting layer 3 formed by mixing the added base material such as zinc sulfide and the like in a binder such as cyanoethyl cellulose is sequentially laminated by a screen printing method or the like. On the other hand, a transparent electrode 4 made of a light-transmissive electrode material such as tin oxide or indium oxide, and a current collecting zone 5 made of silver paste or the like on the outer periphery of the transparent electrode 4 are formed of a transparent film made of a polyester film or the like. The transparent electrode 4 is formed on one surface of the light emitting layer 3 by vapor deposition or sputtering, or the like, and is disposed on the light emitting layer 3 such that the transparent electrode 4 is in contact with the light emitting layer 3. A pair of lead pins 9 and 10 serving as electrode terminals are connected using adhesive tapes 7 and 8, and after these lead pins 9 and 10 are pulled out in the peripheral direction, the back electrode 1
The entire light emitting portion 11 composed of a laminated body of transparent sheets 6 is surrounded by a pair of sealing films 12 and 13 made of a transparent polymer film or the like with an adhesive, and is subjected to a laminating process to form a thin flat plate. EL element 14 is formed.

When a predetermined voltage is applied by connecting a wiring code (not shown) from an external driving circuit (not shown) to the lead pins 9 and 10, a back electrode 1 and a transparent electrode 4 are applied.
The light emitting layer 3 between them emits surface light.

まうという問題点があった。
Since the back electrode 1 and the transparent electrode 4 are thin and weak materials, a wiring code from an external drive circuit cannot be directly connected to them by soldering or the like. Conventionally, as described above , lead pins 9 and 10 made of copper foil or the like and connected to the back electrode 1 and the current collector 5 connected to the transparent electrode 4 and capable of connecting the wiring code are bonded to the adhesive tape 7, The lead pins 9 and 10 have a low productivity because of the complicated mounting process.
However, there are problems such as poor contact, falling off, deformation, etc., simply by fixing at 8. Also, since the current collector 5 and the adhesive tapes 7 and 8 are non-translucent, the area covering the light emitting layer 3 increases as the area increases, and the light emitting area of the light emitting section 11 decreases accordingly. Therefore, there is a problem in that the shape of the light emitting unit 11 is restricted, and the design and commercial value of the EL element 14 are deteriorated.
