Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本考案は、インパクトプリンターやタイプライター等
に使用されるインクリボンカートリッジで、エンドレス
のインクリボンとインクを含蓄したインク供給体を備え
たものにおいて、そのインクリボンとインク供給体の間
に介在してインク供給体のインクを印字した後のインク
リボンにおけるインク剥脱箇所へ付着させて、インクリ
ボンを繰り返し使用可能とするためのインク供給用転写
ローラに関する。
（従来の技術） 実開昭53−63913号公報に開示されたように、もしく
は第５図に示すように、従来のこの種の転写ローラ１
は、円筒形でその周側面に軸方向の突条３が形成されて
いた。または、第６図に示すように、従来の転写ローラ
２はその周側面に円周方向の突条４が形成されていた。
そして、それら突条３、４の表面にインク供給体のイン
クが付着するようになっていた。
（考案が解決しようとする課題） 第７図及び第８図に示すように、上記従来例の転写ロ
ーラ１、２の周側面に形成された軸方向の突条３又は円
周方向の突条４の表面に付着したインク５は、重力によ
って又は転写ローラの回転によって突条３、４に沿って
移動して、ある個所では集まって膨出し、又ある個所で
は流出により減少して、突条３、４の各位置においてイ
ンク層の厚さが不均一になりやすかった。従って転写ロ
ーラ１、２からインクリボンへインクを転写した場合
も、インクリボンに転写ムラが生じて濃度の安定した高
品質の印字を得られないという問題があった。
本考案はかかる問題を解決せんとするもので、インク
リボンに対しインクを転写した場合に転写ムラが生ずる
ことがなくて濃度の安定した高品質の印字を得ることが
できるインクリボンに対するインク供給用転写ローラの
提供を目的とする。
（課題を解決するための手段） 上記目的を達成するために、本考案のインクリボンに
対するインク供給用転写ローラは、表面が平坦でその表
面をインク供給体及びインクリボンに接触させる表面積
の小さい疣状の小突起７を周側面の全体にわたって多数
点々状に設けるとともに、各小突起の表面に付着したイ
ンクの移動を阻止する凹部10を各突起７の間に設けたこ
とを特徴とするものである。
（実施例） 第１図乃至第４図は本考案の実施例を示したもので、
以下、図面に基づき説明すると、第１図において６が本
考案実施例の転写ローラであって、全体が略円筒形で、
第２図に示すようにその周側面の全体にわたって表面が
平坦で表面積の小さい円形の小突起７が疣状に多数設け
られている。尚、小突起７の形状や数は自由であるが、
表面積ができるだけ小さく数が多い方が好ましい。転写
ローラ６は、第１図に示すように、ポリウレタンフオー
ムの圧縮体などによって形成され連続気孔を有してその
気孔内にインクを含蓄したインク供給体８とインクリボ
ン９との間に回転自在に介装され、その周側面を、より
詳しくは小突起７の表面を、インク供給体８の周側面及
びインクリボン９の側面に接触させている。転写ローラ
６はインク供給体８と共に回転してその周側面全体の小
突起７の表面にインク供給体８からインクを受け取って
付着させる。転写ローラ６の小突起７の表面に付着した
インク５は、第３図及び第４図に示すように、各小突起
７の間に存在する凹部10によって移動を阻止されるの
で、各小突起７の表面に留まることになり、転写ローラ
６の周側面の全体にわたって略均一にインク５が分布す
ることになる。転写ローラ６の小突起７の表面上のイン
クは、一定方向へ走行するインクリボン９との接触によ
り、インクリボン９において印字をした後のインク剥脱
個所11へインク５を受け渡して再び付着させ、インクリ
ボン９を繰り返し使用可能とする。
（作用効果） 本考案は以上の通りであり、転写ローラの周側面の全
体にわたって表面が平坦で表面積の小さい疣状の小突起
７を多数点々状に設けて、その小突起７の表面にインク
供給体からのインクを付着させるとともに、各小突起７
の表面に付着したインクの移動を阻止する凹部10を各小
突起７の間に設けたので、転写ローラ上でのインクの移
動が阻止されて転写ローラの周側面の全体にインクが略
均一に分布することになり、転写ローラからインクリボ
ンへインクを転写した場合に転写ムラが発生せず、よっ
て印字をした場合に濃度が均一な高品質の印字が得られ
るという作用効果がある。
【図面の簡単な説明】
第１図乃至第４図は本考案の実施例を示したもので、第
１図はインクリボンカートリッジ内に装備した状態の斜
視図、第２図は一部拡大斜視図、第３図はインクが付着
した状態の縦断面図、第４図はインクが付着した状態の
横断面図である。また第５図及び第６図はそれぞれ従来
例の転写ローラの斜視図、第７図は第５図の転写ローラ
のインクが付着した状態の縦断面図、第８図は第６図の
転写ローラのインクが付着した状態の横断面図である。 ６……転写ローラ、７……小突起、８……インク供給
体、９……インクリボン。

  1. 【請求項１】表面が平坦でその表面をインク供給体及び
    インクリボンに接触させる表面積の小さい疣状の小突起
    ７を周側面の全体にわたって多数点々状に設けるととも
    に、各小突起の表面に付着したインクの移動を阻止する
    凹部10を各突起７の間に設けたことを特徴とするインク
    リボンに対するインク供給用転写ローラ。
