て上記駆動回路に与える受信部を上記送信部と対面して
固定し、車体には後方物体との距離を測定する測定器を

回路が作動信号を発生するようになしたことを要旨とす

なお、取付ケース2は衝撃による破損を考慮するとエラ
ストマー系軟質樹脂等で製作するのがよい。なお、保護
カバー40にはレンズ機能を付与してもよい。また、取
付ケース2の側方にはアーム20が突設され、該アーム
20の正面にはフォトトランジスタ、フォトダイオード
等の受光素子(受信部)6が取付けられ、特定波長光を
透過する保護カバー60によって保護され、又受光素子
6の出力は駆動回路5に入力され、こうしてヘルメット
1側の装置部分は予めセットとして組立てられ、ヘルメ
ット1に任意に固着しうるようになっている。他方、自
動二輪車の車体前側のバックミラー7には発信部8がこ

固定ケース80内に赤外線をビーム状に発する発光素子
(送信部)81を内蔵し、特定波長光を透過する保護カ

クミラー7が可動式の場合には発信部8をフレーム70
に固定すればよい。また、車体には制御回路9が搭載さ
れ、該制御回路9には車体のブレーキランプを点灯させ
る信号、即ちブレーキ操作信号aが入力され、又制御回
路9の出力は配線90によって発光素子81に接続され
