[Related Art] In the production of an optical fiber, a resin coating is applied immediately after hot-melt spinning of a glass fiber for the purpose of protection and reinforcement. As the resin coating, a structure in which a flexible primary coating layer is first provided on the surface of an optical fiber and a secondary coating layer having higher rigidity is provided outside the primary coating layer is well known. As the material of the primary coating layer, various liquid curable resin compositions containing polyester (meth) acrylate, epoxy (meth) acrylate, urethane (meth) acrylate or the like as a main component are known. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, since optical fibers are used in various environments, it is required that the transmission loss is small even at about −40 ° C., for example. In general, if the flexibility of the coating material of the optical fiber is impaired, the transmission loss increases. Therefore, the primary coating layer of the optical fiber is required to have a small Young's modulus and to be flexible even at a low temperature of about −40 ° C. On the other hand, since the coating material of the optical fiber protects and reinforces the glass fiber, the primary coating layer is also required to have high adhesion to the glass fiber. However, conventional materials for the primary coating layer, including those described above, generally have a problem that increasing the adhesion to an optical fiber increases the Young's modulus at low temperatures. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a cured product having excellent adhesiveness to an optical fiber when used as a coating material for an optical fiber and having a Young's modulus of 5 kg / mm 2 or less even at a low temperature of about −40 ° C. An object of the present invention is to provide a curable resin composition. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention solves the above problems by: (a) a polyoxyalkylene structure composed of two or more oxyalkylene groups having 2 to 6 carbon atoms; Has an unsaturated group and number average molecular weight of 3,000 ~
65 to 90% by weight of polyurethane which is 10,000 (b) 2 to 20% by weight of N-vinylcaprolactam (c) General formula (I): Wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R 2 is a hydrogen atom or a group having 1 to 1 carbon atoms.
2 alkyl group, R 3 is an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, n represents the I wheat with a a] 1-2 an average value (meth) acrylate 2-20 wt% (d) The present invention provides a liquid curable resin composition containing 0.1 to 10% by weight of a polymerization initiator (e) 0.1 to 5% by weight of a silane coupling agent. Used in the liquid curable resin composition of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as “composition”) (a
)) Component (hereinafter referred to as “polymer (a)”) has 2 to 2 carbon atoms.
6, a diol having a polyoxyalkylene structure composed of two or more oxyalkylene groups (hereinafter, referred to as "specific polyoxyalkylene structure"), a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group, and a diisocyanate. Can be Hereinafter, a method for producing the polymer (a) will be exemplified. [Production Method 1] A method of reacting a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group with a functional group of a polymer obtained by reacting a diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure with diisocyanate. [Production Method 2] A method of reacting a diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure with a functional group of an adduct obtained by reacting a diisocyanate with a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group. [Production Method 3] A method of simultaneously reacting a diisocyanate, a diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure, and a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group. The diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure used in the above method is, for example, ring-opening copolymerization of at least two compounds selected from ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, tetrahydrofuran, oxetane, substituted oxetane, tetrahydropyran, and oxepane. Is obtained by Among these diols having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure, diols having a poly (oxypropylene-oxytetramethylene) structure obtained by copolymerizing propylene oxide and tetrahydrofuran at a weight ratio of 60:40 to 5:95, For example, polyoxypropylene polyoxytetramethylene glycol (hereinafter, referred to as “PPTG”) is particularly preferred. In this case, if the weight ratio of propylene oxide to tetrahydrofuran (propylene oxide / tetrahydrofuran) exceeds 60/40, the heat resistance of the composition after curing becomes poor. When the weight ratio of propylene oxide to tetrahydrofuran (propylene oxide / tetrahydrofuran) is less than 5/95, the viscosity of the composition increases. Examples of the diol used for producing the polymer (a) include a diol having the specific polyoxyalkylene structure and a polybasic acid such as phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, adipic acid, and sebacic acid. And a polycaprolactone diol obtained by reacting the diol having the specific polyoxyalkylene structure with ε-caprolactone. The diol having the specific polyoxyalkylene structure is, for example, Unisafe
DC 1100 (manufactured by NOF Corporation), Unisafe 1800 (same as above), Unisafe
It can also be obtained as a commercial product such as DCB 1100 (same as above), Unisafe DCB 1800 (same as above), PPTG 4000 (same as Hodogaya Chemical), PPTG 2000 (same as above), PPTG 1000 (same as above). These polymers (a) may be used alone or in combination of two or more. A diol having no specific polyoxyalkylene structure and / or a diamine having no specific polyoxyalkylene structure can be used in combination with the diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure to such an extent that the effects of the present invention are not lost. Examples of the diol having no specific polyoxyalkylene structure include polyether diols such as polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, and polytetramethylene glycol; ethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, tetramethylene glycol, and polytetramethylene Polyhydric alcohols such as glycol, 1,6-hexanediol, neopentyl glycol, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol and phthalic acid, isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid Polyester diol obtained by reacting with polybasic acid; liquid polybutadiene having two hydroxyl groups in one molecule or hydrogenated product of this compound; ε-caprolactone; Glycol, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, tetramethylene glycol, polytetramethylene glycol, 1,

-Biphenylene diisocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, methylene bis (4-cyclohexyl isocyanate) and the like. These diisocyanates may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Further, examples of the compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group include (meth) acrylic compounds having a hydroxyl group, an acid halide group or an epoxy group. (Wherein R 1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n is 1 to 5) Examples of the (meth) acrylic compound having an epoxy group include glycidyl esters of (meth) acrylic acid. Examples of the (meth) acrylic compound having an acid halide group include (meth) acrylic halides such as (meth) acrylic chloride and (meth) acrylic bromide. These compounds having an ethylenically unsaturated group may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Next, a preferred embodiment of the above production method 1 will be described. The amount of the diisocyanate used per equivalent of the hydroxyl group of the diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure is about 0.5 to 2 mol. In this reaction, a catalyst such as copper naphthenate, cobalt naphthenate, zinc naphthenate, n-butyltin laurate and triethylamine is usually used in an amount of 0.0 to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the reactants.
The reaction is carried out using 1 to 1.0 parts by weight. The reaction temperature in this reaction is usually from 0 to
80 ° C. The compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group is reacted with the functional group of the intermediate product thus obtained, and the amount of the compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group used is 1 equivalent of the functional group of the nuclear intermediate product. And the reaction conditions are the same as the reaction conditions for producing the above-mentioned intermediate product. Next, a preferred embodiment of the production method 2 will be described. The compound having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure is equivalent to 1 equivalent of a functional group of an intermediate product obtained by reacting about 1 mol of a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group per 1 mol of diisocyanate under the same reaction conditions as in Production Method 1. The reaction is carried out under the same reaction conditions as in Production Method 1, using the diol such that the hydroxyl groups of the diol are about 1 equivalent. Next, a preferred embodiment of the above production method 3 will be described. With respect to 1 mol of a diol having a specific polyoxyalkylene structure, 0.5 to 2 mol of a diisocyanate and 0.5 to 2 mol of a compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group are reacted under the same reaction conditions as in Production Method 1. In carrying out the above production methods 1 to 3, a polyol other than difunctional with respect to diol, a polyamine other than difunctional with respect to diamine or a polyisocyanate other than difunctional with respect to diisocyanate are used together to such an extent that the product does not gel. Usually, the combination amount is 5 to 30 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the diol, diamine or diisocyanate. Examples of the non-bifunctional polyol include, for example, an addition product of glycerin and propylene oxide, glycerin,
, 3-Pentanetriol, 1,2,3-butanetriol, tri (2-hydroxypolyoxypropyl) polysiloxane, polycaprolactonetriol, polycaprolactonetetraol, a liquid having more than two hydroxyl groups in one molecule Examples thereof include polybutadiene and hydrogenated products of this compound. Examples of the non-bifunctional polyamine include diethylene triamine, 1,2,3-triaminopropane, and polyoxypropylene amine. Examples of the non-bifunctional polyisocyanate compound include polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate, And phenylmethane 4,4 ', 4 "-triisocyanate. In the present invention, the ratio of the specific polyoxyalkylene structure to the total amount of the polymer (a) is usually 50 to 95% by weight, and preferably 50 to 95% by weight. 70 to 90% by weight, the proportion of the ethylenically unsaturated group is usually 0.5 to 10% by weight, preferably 1 to 8% by weight The polymer (a) has a number average molecular weight of 3,000 to 10,000. And 35
It is preferably from 00 to 8000. If the number average molecular weight is less than 3,000, the Young's modulus of the obtained cured product at a low temperature increases, and if it exceeds 10,000, the viscosity of the composition increases and the coatability to an optical fiber decreases. In addition, polymer (
The proportion in the composition of a) must be 65 to 90% by weight, and 7
It is preferably from 0 to 85% by weight. 65% by weight in the composition
When the amount is less than the above, the Young's modulus of the cured product at a low temperature increases, and when it exceeds 90% by weight, the coatability to the optical fiber decreases. As the component (b) used in the composition of the present invention, N-vinylcaprolactam is used. N-vinylcaprolactam, among ethylenically unsaturated monomers having an amino group, has relatively little irritation to human skin. The proportion of the component (b) in the composition needs to be 2 to 20% by weight, and preferably 3 to 12% by weight. If the proportion of the component (b) is less than 2% by weight, the resulting cured product will have reduced adhesion to the optical fiber, and will have a weight of 20% by weight.
When it exceeds, the water absorption of the cured product increases. As the alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms represented by R 3 , a methylene group, an ethylene group, a propylene group, Examples include a tetramethylene group, a butylene group, a pentamethylene group, and a hexamethylene group. Further, when n exceeds 2 in the general formula (I), the adhesiveness of the obtained cured product to the optical fiber decreases. Examples of the (meth) acrylate represented by the general formula (I) of the component (c) include phenoxyethyl (meth) acrylate, phenoxydiethylene glycol (meth) acrylate, and phenoxypropyl (meth) acrylate. M101 (manufactured by Toa Gosei Co., Ltd.) and Alonix M-111 (manufactured by Toa Gosei Co., Ltd.). Among these components (c), phenoxyethyl acrylate is preferred. The proportion of the component (c) in the composition needs to be 2 to 20% by weight, and preferably 3 to 12% by weight. When the proportion of the component (c) is less than 2% by weight, the curing rate of the composition becomes slow, and when it exceeds 20% by weight, the Young's modulus of the cured product at a low temperature becomes large. One of these polymerization initiators may be used alone, or two or more of them may be used in combination. When a photopolymerization initiator is used, if necessary, a sensitizer such as an amine compound ( Photopolymerization accelerator) can be used in combination. The proportion of the component (d) in the composition needs to be 0.1 to 10% by weight, and preferably 2 to 5% by weight. When the proportion of the component (d) is less than 0.1% by weight, the curing rate of the composition is reduced, and when it exceeds 10% by weight, the storage stability of the composition and the heat and soil resistance after curing are reduced. In order to form the first coating layer by applying the composition of the present invention to an optical fiber, for example, the film thickness after curing the composition on the surface of the glass fiber immediately after spinning is 10 to 200 μm.
After coating by an appropriate method so that the composition becomes about m, the composition may be cured by irradiating radiation such as ultraviolet rays or electron beams, or by heating. When a secondary coating layer having higher rigidity is provided outside the flexible primary coating layer thus obtained, a polyamide resin, a liquid crystal polyester resin, or a general thermosetting resin may be further provided on the primary coating layer. Alternatively, an ultraviolet or electron beam curable material, for example, polyester (meth) acrylate, epoxy (meth) acrylate, urethane (meth) acrylate, or the like may be applied and cured. EXAMPLES Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to these Examples. In the examples, "parts" means parts by weight. Example 1 A reaction vessel equipped with a stirrer was charged with 81.46 g of 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate, 1 g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4- as a polymerization inhibitor.
1 g of methylphenol was charged. To this, 864.23 g of polyoxypropylene polyoxytetramethylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 3700 (trade name: PPTG 4000, manufactured by Hodogaya Chemical Co., Ltd.) was added over 2 hours while maintaining the internal temperature at 40 to 50 ° C. After the addition was completed, stirring was continued at 40 to 50 ° C for 1 hour. Thereafter, 54.31 g of hydroxyethyl acrylate was added while maintaining the internal temperature at 40 to 50 ° C. to obtain a polymer (A) having a number average molecular weight of 4300, which is the component (a). Next, 8 parts of phenoxyethyl acrylate and 75 parts of the polymer (A)
-10 parts of vinylcaprolactam, 5 parts of benzyldimethylketal, and 2 parts of γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane were uniformly mixed to obtain a composition having a viscosity at 25 ° C of 9000 cP. Test Example The compositions prepared in the above Examples were measured for adhesion to a substrate and Young's modulus of a cured product by the following methods. Table 1 shows the results. Measurement of Adhesion (i) After applying the composition to a quartz plate so that the thickness after curing becomes 0.2 mm, a metal halide lamp having a total irradiation energy of 1 J / cm 2 was irradiated with a metal halide lamp thereon. To obtain a cured film. (Ii) The cured film on the quartz plate is left on the quartz plate in the form of a tape with a width of 1 cm, and one end of the cured film is peeled by pulling in a direction perpendicular to the quartz plate, and the force required for the peeling is measured. Was evaluated as the adhesion of the cured film to the quartz plate. Measurement of Young's modulus In the same manner as in the adhesion test, the cured film formed on the quartz plate was left in the form of a tape having a width of 6 mm, and the peeled sample was used as a sample. Was used to measure the Young's modulus at 23 ° C and -40 ° C. [Effects of the Invention] The composition of the present invention is one that is cured by various radiations, for example, electron beams, ultraviolet rays, visible rays, or the like, or by heating. The cured product obtained from the composition of the present invention has excellent adhesion to a substrate, for example, quartz, and has a small Young's modulus over a wide temperature range. For example, the Young's modulus is 5 kg / mm 2 or less even at a low temperature of about −40 ° C. It is remarkably excellent. Therefore, the composition of the present invention is excellent as a coating material for optical fibers, and is also excellent as a coating material for various substrates.
