[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The goby fruit is a tree that grows mainly in Japan. In recent years, its growing range has been limited, and at the same time, due to a shortage of manpower required for its collection, Sampling is decreasing.

[0007] For these reasons, it has been hoped that, in place of the wax, an inexpensive and stable supply can be developed, and the above-mentioned alternatives have been proposed, but all of them are excellent in burning natural domestic wax. It was far from sexual.

These disadvantages are caused by mixing two or more kinds,
Alternatively, it is slightly improved by blending paraffin wax, beeswax, rice bran wax, etc., but problems such as generation of oil smoke during combustion, dripping flow of molten wax, generation of irritating gas remain, and substitution of natural wax It was extremely dissatisfied to use it as a product.

[0010] Japanese candles have been made by traditional techniques since ancient times, and their unique finishing flavors have increased their appearance value. However, the wax wax substitutes provided so far have a high freezing point. However, it has the drawback that it cannot be done by this traditional method, and can only be made by casting using a candle molding machine.

That is, the candle composition of the present invention contains fatty acid glyceride and oxidized wax as essential components, and the candle composition is low enough to be produced by the traditional hand-made method of Japanese candles. A candle composition having a freezing point and a melting point that does not easily bend when molded into a candle, and has good flammability.

The fatty acid glycerides used as an essential component of the candle composition of the present invention include fatty acid glycerides obtained by condensation reaction (esterification) of fatty acids and glycerin, and naturally occurring animal and vegetable waxes containing fatty acid glycerides as main components. The fatty acid used here has 10 to 10 carbon atoms.
It is preferably 30. When the number of carbon atoms is less than 10, the melting point becomes low, which causes a dripping flow of molten wax during combustion. Further, when the carbon number exceeds 30, the melting point becomes high, which makes it difficult to manufacture the original Japanese candle.

The mixing ratio of the fatty acid glyceride and the oxidized wax in the candle composition of the present invention is 20 to 98 parts by weight of the fatty acid glyceride and 2 to 9 of the oxidized wax.
It is preferably 8 parts by weight. If the mixing ratio of the oxidation wax is less than 2 parts by weight, the generation of oily smoke at the time of combustion increases, and if it exceeds 80 parts by weight, it becomes too soft especially in the summer, both of which are not preferable.

The candle composition of the present invention has a melting point of 40-80.
It is preferably in the range of ° C. If the melting point is less than 40 ° C., it will be too soft especially in summer and will be curved during storage. Further, when the melting point exceeds 80 ° C, the flame tends to extinguish particularly in winter.

The candle composition of the present invention contains petroleum wax (paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, petrolatum, etc.), animal and vegetable wax (carnauba wax, rice bran wax, beeswax, etc.) as long as it does not adversely affect its preferable properties. ), Synthetic wax (polyethylene wax,

The oxidized wax, which is an essential component of the candle composition of the present invention, contains oxygen in the molecule, unlike ordinary hydrocarbons, and therefore, during combustion, this intramolecular oxygen is added to oxygen in the air. Since it is supplied, the combustibility is improved and the generation of oily smoke is prevented.

Further, the viscosity of the molten wax due to the flame is maintained at an appropriate level, the suction is improved, and the liquid retention of the molten wax is reduced.

In particular, the oxidized microwax has a softness and stickiness similar to that of wood wax, and when mixed with the fatty acid glyceride, enables the original hand-made production of the Japanese candle.

As shown in Table 1, various compositions having different kinds and blending ratios of fatty acid glyceride and oxidized wax were prepared, and 1 kg of each composition was placed in a 2 liter flask and heated at 90 to 100 ° C. It was heated to dissolve. After stirring this for 1 hour, the temperature was kept at 90 ° C and the candle forming machine provided with the Japanese candlestick (diameter 3 cm, length 15 c
m cylindrical container). After 6 hours, the product was taken out from the molding machine and trimmed at the bottom to obtain a Japanese candle.

[Table 2] Further, with respect to the various compositions shown in Table 1, it was attempted to carry out the original hand-made production of Japanese candles. That is, all the components of each composition were heated and dissolved at 90 to 100 ° C., and naturally cooled while stirring. The mixture is stirred until the temperature reaches 45 to 50 ° C., and after it becomes creamy, the original hand-made production of the Japanese candle is carried out. did. Table 2 also shows the results obtained by evaluating the hand-made production of the various compositions in Table 1. In addition, as a reference example, a Japanese candle using natural wax was prepared and compared. As is clear from the results shown in Table 2, all the Japanese candles obtained by using the candle compositions according to the examples of the present invention have good flammability, and also have a good feel of slicing. It has excellent characteristics equal to or better than the Japanese candle. In addition, it was confirmed that the original candle-made production of Japanese candles was impossible with the other wax substitutes of Comparative Examples, but the candle composition according to the present invention could be sufficiently produced by hand.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION The candle composition according to the present invention has extremely good flammability and can be manufactured by hand as the original Japanese candle, and can be suitably used as a substitute for the Japanese candle with natural wax. . Moreover, since the fatty acid glyceride and the oxides of hydrocarbons used as essential components in the candle composition of the present invention are rich in resources, inexpensive and stable supply can be secured for a long period of time. Since the candle composition of the present invention can be manufactured by hand, which was not possible with conventional wax substitutes, it can protect traditional Japanese traditional candles and contribute socially and culturally. It is a thing.
