The oil-in-water emulsion composition according to the present disclosure has freshness, excellent moisturizing feeling, and excellent emulsion stability.
Measures for obtaining an oil-in-water emulsified composition with a fresh feeling of use include, for example, making the composition low in viscosity and reducing the amount of ingredients such as oil and moisturizing agents. However, oil-in-water emulsified compositions employing such measures tend to lack a moisturizing feeling and have a low emulsification stability. In addition, in the oil-in-water emulsion composition, in order to improve the moisturizing feeling, the amount of components such as oil and humectant is increased, and in order to improve the emulsion stability, the amount of emulsifier is increased and the viscosity is increased by containing a thickener. When it is increased, the tendency to lose freshness appears. Furthermore, the freshness can be felt as the amount of water contained in the composition increases. When various ingredients such as a moisturizing agent, an emollient ingredient, and an active ingredient are included in the composition in order to improve the touch such as a moisturizing feeling and to obtain other desired functions, the amount of water increases accordingly. Therefore, the freshness may decrease due to these factors as well.
Under such circumstances, the present disclosure contains betaine, (Na acrylate/Na acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer, compound I, compound II, a predetermined amount of oil, and a predetermined amount of water, and has a viscosity By setting it to 1,000 mPa · s to 25,000 mPa · s, it is possible to obtain an oil-in-water emulsion composition that provides freshness, excellent moisturizing feeling, and excellent emulsion stability (separation resistance). Arrived.
On the other hand, each of the compositions described in Patent Documents 1 to 3 is an oil-in-water emulsion composition comprising betaine, (Na acrylate/Na acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer, compound I, compound II, and a predetermined amount of oil. , And, there is no focus on containing a predetermined amount of water and having a viscosity of 1,000 mPa s to 25,000 mPa s, and all of the freshness, moisturizing feeling, and emulsion stability can be achieved. not a thing
Hereinafter, the oil-in-water emulsion composition according to the present disclosure will be described in detail.

By containing betaine, the oil-in-water emulsified composition is excellent in both freshness and moisturizing feeling, and has improved emulsion stability. Furthermore, betaine contributes to suppression of stickiness.
Betaine is trimethylglycine with the structure shown below and is sometimes referred to as glycine betaine or betaine anhydride.
Betaine is an organic compound that occurs in many living organisms. Betaine can be obtained, for example, by extraction and purification from sugar beet molasses.

Also, the inclusion of the (Na acrylate/Na acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer can contribute to a pseudo-fresh feeling when the oil-in-water emulsified composition is applied to the skin. This is because the (Na acrylate / Na acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer has an ionic group and has low salt resistance, and due to this, when the oil-in-water emulsion composition is applied to the skin, it instantly forms It is presumed that this is because the viscosity of the material decreases.
The (Na-acrylate/Na-acryloyldimethyltaurate) copolymer is a copolymer of sodium acrylate and sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate.
