Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an oil lubricating device that guides lubricating oil to predetermined mechanical elements.
A wet sump system and a dry sump system are known as systems for supplying lubricating oil to mechanical elements such as gears and shafts in engines, transmissions, and the like. In the wet sump method, oil is supplied directly to the mechanical elements by a pump from an oil pan located at the bottom of the crankcase. The wet sump system requires space for a large-capacity oil pan under the crankcase, which may result in a larger engine.
On the other hand, in the dry sump method, oil is moved from an oil pan to an oil tank and stored therein, and the oil is supplied from the oil tank to predetermined machine elements (for example, Patent Document 1). The dry sump system has the advantage of being able to stably supply oil even when the body of a two-wheeled vehicle is greatly tilted or when a large lateral G (lateral acceleration) acts on a four-wheeled vehicle.
Patent Literature 1 describes a lubricating device for a dry sump type engine. This engine lubricating device includes a small-capacity oil pan arranged below a crankcase, an oil tank connected to the oil pan, and one oil pump.
This oil tank is arranged in a space defined by the front surface of the cylinder block, the front surface of the crankcase and the exhaust pipe. A cooling water passage is provided inside the oil tank. Furthermore, the oil in the oil tank is pressure-fed to the lubricated parts (mechanical elements) by the oil pump, and then returned to the oil tank by the oil pump via the oil pan.
In Patent Literature 1, the oil tank is arranged in the above-mentioned space that used to be a dead space, so there is no need to secure a space for arranging the oil tank, so the overall vehicle can be made compact. and In addition, since the cooling water passage is provided inside the oil tine, there is no need to provide an oil cooling pipe, which eliminates the need for a space for the pipe, thereby making it possible to achieve further compactness.
By the way, in the dry sump system, the capacity of the oil pan is smaller than that of the oil tank, and if the vehicle body tilts while driving, air may enter the oil sucked from the oil pan. In some cases, the gears are arranged so as to touch the oil accumulated in the oil pan, and the oil may be agitated and mixed with air. In this case, air accumulates in the path connected to the pump, and the air acts as a resistance to suppress the supply of oil.
Patent Document 1 has an oil pan with a small capacity, an oil tank arranged in a dead space, and only one oil pump. No countermeasures have been taken against the situation in which air is mixed into the oil that has been used.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an oil lubricating device capable of extracting air mixed in oil sucked from an oil pan while reducing the size of the device.
In order to solve the above problems, a representative configuration of the oil lubricating device according to the present invention is an oil lubricating device that guides lubricating oil to predetermined mechanical elements, and includes an oil pan in which oil that has passed through the mechanical elements drips. an oil tank for storing oil; a pump having two input/output systems; a cooler for cooling oil; a first suction passage for sucking oil from the first suction passage, a first discharge passage for discharging the oil sucked from the first suction passage from the pump to the cooler, and a second suction passage connected to the pump for sucking the oil from the oil pan. , a second discharge path for discharging the oil sucked from the second suction path from the pump to the valve device; and a supply path for guiding the oil discharged from the first and third discharge paths from the cooler to each machine element.
In the above configuration, the oil in the oil pan is sucked into the pump through the second suction path and discharged from the pump to the valve device through the second discharge path. Since the valve device is of a pressure responsive type that allows air to pass through but not oil to pass through, air can be released if air is mixed with the oil sucked from the oil pan. Further, when oil rather than air reaches the valve device, the valve device closes, so oil is discharged to the cooler through the third discharge path branched from the second discharge path. In this way, air does not mix with the oil in the third discharge path.
On the other hand, the oil in the oil tank is sucked into the pump through the first suction passage, and then discharged from the pump to the cooler through the first discharge passage. Since the oil in the oil pan is agitated by mechanical elements, air (bubbles) is mixed in, but since the oil in the oil tank is already free of air bubbles, the oil in the first discharge path is not mixed with air.
According to the above configuration, oil is supplied to the cooler from the first discharge path and the third discharge path, but air does not mix with the oil in either path. That is, the oil lubricating apparatus according to the present invention can remove air mixed in the oil sucked from the oil pan in the dry sump system. As a result, the lubricating oil cooled by the cooler can be stably supplied to the predetermined mechanical elements through the supply path, thereby preventing the increase of friction of the mechanical elements and the occurrence of seizure. can. In addition, since it is possible to perform such an operation of removing air with one pump, it is possible to reduce the size of the apparatus.
The above oil lubricating device may further include a plurality of supply paths provided downstream of the cooler, and valves for adjusting the flow rate of each supply path.
As a result, the oil in the oil tank that is discharged from the first discharge path and the deaired oil from the oil pan that is discharged from the third discharge path are adjusted to appropriate flow rates by the valves, and then supplied to the plurality of supply paths. is stably supplied from the cooler to multiple machine elements. Therefore, it is possible to sufficiently prevent the friction between the plurality of mechanical elements from increasing and the occurrence of seizure.
The above-described valve device includes a casing, a passage formed in the casing and connected to the second suction path, and a passage formed inside the casing and communicating with the passage. a valve seat formed in the accommodating portion; a poppet accommodated in the accommodating portion; The poppet does not block the valve seat because the spring does not elastically deform due to the dynamic pressure of the air when the air reaches the accommodation portion through the passage, and when the oil reaches the accommodation portion through the passage, It is preferable that the valve seat is closed by the elastic deformation of the spring under the dynamic pressure of the oil.
In the above configuration, when the air reaches the accommodating portion, the poppet does not block the valve seat, so the air can be discharged from the opening. You can keep the oil inside. In this way, the valve device provides air-passing but oil-sealing operation.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an oil lubricating device capable of extracting air mixed in oil sucked from an oil pan while reducing the size of the device.
Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The dimensions, materials, and other specific numerical values shown in these embodiments are merely examples for facilitating understanding of the invention, and do not limit the invention unless otherwise specified. In the present specification and drawings, elements having substantially the same function and configuration are given the same reference numerals to omit redundant description, and elements that are not directly related to the present invention are omitted from the drawings. do.
FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of an
The
In the
The
Here, since the oil in the
Therefore, in the
The
The
The
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the
Casing 168 also has a
One end of the
In the
Therefore,
In the
Therefore, the
Thus, in the
On the other hand, the oil in the
Therefore, according to the
The
Therefore, the oil in the
The oil cooled by the cooler 142 is stably supplied from the cooler 142 to a plurality of machine elements through a plurality of
Therefore, according to the
