Abstract
Description
前駆体であるLiMnO2およびLi2MnO3を含む材料を、表1に従って、WCジャーおよびボールを使用して、異なるモル比率で混合した。全ての材料は、常に不活性雰囲気下(アルゴン充填グローブボックス内)で取り扱われ、周囲雰囲気にさらされることはなかった。つまり、常に湿気および酸素から保護されていた。遊星ボールミル(従来の粉砕より約150%高いエネルギーを供給し得るFritsch Planetary Micro Mill PULVERISETTE 7プレミアムライン)を使用して、700rpmの速度で10分間の粉砕を行い、その後30分休ませた。この粉砕および休止サイクルを少なくとも30回、すなわち、少なくとも5時間の総粉砕時間にわたって繰り返した後、相純度を評価した。しかしながら、相純度を達成するために必要な粉砕時間は短くなる可能性がある。相転移は、X線回折によって評価される。相転移が完了していない場合は、同じプログラムが繰り返される。
実施例1による材料を、Cu Kα放射線を用いたPanalytical AerisベンチトップXRDを利用して実施した粉末X線回折(PXRD)で検査した。測定範囲は、10~90°2θであった。
実施例1によるカソード組成物を、BioLogic BCSシリーズポテンショスタットを用いて実施した定電流サイクルによって電気化学的に特性評価を行った。全てのサンプルを、粉末カソードとして金属リチウムカウンター/参照電極を備えたSwagelokタイプのセルに組み立て、300mAh/gの容量によって定義されるC/10の電流レートで2~4.8V vs.Li+/Liの間で循環した。使用した電解質は、LP40(1:1(w/w比)のEC;DEC中のLiPF6の1M溶液)であった。
