Description
Claims (10)
- 電磁撹拌機(23,24;123,124)によって電磁撹拌の第1の軸(X1)に沿った少なくとも1つの第1の電磁場と電磁撹拌の第2の軸(X2)に沿った少なくとも1つの第2の電磁場とが生成される連続投入型の電気アーク炉(10)内における液体金属を電磁撹拌するための方法であって、
前記電気アーク炉におけるサイクルの第1のステップにおいて、前記第1の電磁場及び前記第2の電磁場によって、互いに不一致のセンスを有する混合力(F1,F2)を前記液体金属(L)に加えることと、
前記電気アーク炉における前記サイクルの第2のステップにおいて、前記第1の電磁場及び前記第2の電磁場によって、互いに一致するセンスを有する力(F1,F2)を前記液体金属(L)に加えることと、を含み、
前記第1のステップが投入ステップであり、前記第2のステップが精錬ステップである、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中と前記精錬ステップ中との両方において、前記電磁撹拌の第1の軸(X1)及び前記電磁撹拌の第2の軸(X2)は、互いに平行であり、かつ、前記電気アーク炉(10)の中心と前記電気アーク炉(10)の出湯孔(17)とを通過する鉛直中央面(P)に対して平行である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中に、前記混合力(F1,F2)によって、反時計回り周縁方向の液体金属(L)流が定められる、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中に、前記混合力(F1,F2)によって、時計回り周縁方向の液体金属(L)流が定められる、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記精錬ステップ中に、前記混合力(F1,F2)によって、前記出湯孔(17)の方向の液体金属(L)流が決定され、続いて、前記出湯孔(17)の方向とは反対方向の、前記電気アーク炉(10)の中央ゾーンに向かう液体金属(L)流が定められる、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中及び前記精錬ステップ中に、制御ユニット(27)は、前記ステップの一方又は他方に応じて適切に方向付けられた前記第1の電磁場及び前記第2の電磁場をそれぞれ生成するように少なくとも1つの第1の電磁撹拌機(23)に第1の電流を印加するとともに少なくとも1つの第2の電磁撹拌機(24)に第2の電流を印加する動作信号を電源装置(26)に送信する、請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記制御ユニット(27)は、前記電気アーク炉(10)内に導入される金属投入物(25)の量に比例する投入信号を供給手段(13)から受信し、前記第1の電流及び前記第2の電流が前記導入される金属投入物(25)の量に比例する強度を有するように前記動作信号を前記電源装置(26)に送信する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中及び前記精錬ステップ中に、前記第1の電流及び前記第2の電流は同じ強度を有する、請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中及び前記精錬ステップ中に、前記第1の電流及び前記第2の電流は異なる強度を有する、請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの投入ステップ中に、前記第1の電流及び第2の電流は、前記精錬ステップ中における前記第1の電流及び第2の電流よりも大きい強度を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
