Abstract
Description
用語「a」、「an」及び「the」は、互換的に用いられ、1つ以上を意味し、
用語「及び/又は」は、述べられた事柄の一方又は両方が起こり得ることを示すために用いられ、例えば、A及び/又はBは、(A及びB)並びに(A又はB)を含み、
「主鎖」とは、ポリマーの主な連続鎖を指す。
「架橋」とは、予め形成した2つのポリマー鎖を、化学結合又は化学的な基を使用して連結することを指す。
「硬化部位」は、架橋に関与する場合がある、官能基を指す。
「共重合」とは、モノマーが一緒に重合してポリマー主鎖を形成することを指す。
「モノマー」は、重合を経てその後ポリマーの基本的構造の部分を形成することができる分子であり、及び
「ポリマー」とは、繰り返し共重合したモノマー単位を含むマクロ構造を指す。

[式中、mは、0又は1であり、Rfは、少なくとも1つの連結(すなわち、鎖内)酸素原子が介在してもよい、少なくとも1個の炭素原子を含有するペルフルオロアルキル残基を表す]の全フッ素化エーテルが挙げられる。例示的な不飽和フッ素化エーテルモノマーとしては、ペルフルオロ(2-プロポキシプロピルビニル)エーテル(PPVE-2)、ペルフルオロ(メチルビニル)エーテル(PMVE)、ペルフルオロ(エチルビニル)エーテル(PEVE)、ペルフルオロ(3-メトキシ-n-プロピルビニル)エーテル(MV-31)、ペルフルオロ(2-メトキシ-エチルビニル)エーテル、ペルフルオロ(n-プロピルビニル)エーテル(PPVE-1)、ペルフルオロ(メチルアリル)エーテル(MA-1)、ペルフルオロ(エチルアリル)エーテル(MA-2)、ペルフルオロ(n-プロピルアリル)エーテル(MA-3)、ペルフルオロ(n-ブチルアリル)エーテル(MA-4)、CF3-O-(CF2)3-O-CF2-CF=CF2(MA31)及びF3C-(CF2)2-O-CF(CF3)-CF2-O-CF(CF3)-CF2-O-CF=CF2(PPVE-3)が挙げられる。
CF2=CFO(Ra fO)n(Rb fO)mRc f[式中、Ra f及びRb fは、1~6個の炭素原子、特に炭素原子数2~6個の異なる直鎖又は分枝鎖のペルフルオロアルキレン基であり、m及びnは、独立して、0~10であり、Rc fは、炭素原子数1~6個のペルフルオロアルキル基である]に相当するものである。全フッ素化ビニルエーテルの具体例としては、ペルフルオロ(メチルビニル)エーテル(PMVE)、ペルフルオロ(エチルビニル)エーテル(PEVE)、ペルフルオロ(n-プロピルビニル)エーテル(PPVE-1)、ペルフルオロ-2-プロポキシプロピルビニルエーテル(PPVE-2)、ペルフルオロ-3-メトキシ-n-プロピルビニルエーテル、ペルフルオロ-2-メトキシ-エチルビニルエーテル、及び

Claims (31)
- 非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーラテックスと、半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子の水性分散体と、を含むラテックスブレンドであって、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、1重量%以下の少なくとも1つの追加のフッ素化モノマーを含むテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマーを含み、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、(i)50g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックス(372℃、2.16kgで)を有するか、又は(ii)溶融加工可能ではなく、2.200未満の標準比重を有し、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、100nm超の平均直径を有する、ラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後、310℃以上かつ最高329℃の溶融温度を有する、請求項1に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後、310℃超かつ323℃未満の溶融温度を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後、500℃以上かつ最高510℃の変曲点温度を有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後、310℃未満の少なくとも1つの再結晶温度を有する、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記追加のフッ素化モノマーが、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、及び一般式:
Rf-O-(CF2)mCF=CF2
[式中、mは、0又は1であり、Rfは、少なくとも1つの連結酸素原子が介在してもよい、少なくとも1個の炭素原子を含有するペルフルオロアルキル残基を表す]から選択される不飽和全フッ素化エーテルのうちの少なくとも1つから選択される、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。 - 前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、コアシェル粒子である、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記ラテックスブレンドが、重量に基づいて、前記非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーあたり5重量%以上かつ50重量%以下の前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後に、10重量%以上~最大30重量%の前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子を含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーが、ペルフルオロオレフィン、及びペルフルオロビニルエーテルから誘導され、前記ペルフルオロオレフィンが、テトラフルオロエチレン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、又はこれらの組み合わせから任意に選択され、前記ペルフルオロビニルエーテルが、ペルフルオロ(2-プロポキシプロピルビニル)エーテル(PPVE-2)、ペルフルオロ(メチルビニル)エーテル(PMVE)、ペルフルオロ(エチルビニル)エーテル(PEVE)、ペルフルオロ(3-メトキシ-n-プロピルビニル)エーテル(MV-31)、ペルフルオロ(2-メトキシ-エチルビニル)エーテル、ペルフルオロ(n-プロピルビニル)エーテル(PPVE-1)、ペルフルオロ(n-プロピルアリル)エーテル(MA-3)、及びF3C-(CF2)2-O-CF(CF3)-CF2-O-CF(CF3)-CF2-O-CF=CF2(PPVE-3)から任意に選択される、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーが、臭素、ヨウ素、及びニトリルのうちの少なくとも1つから選択される硬化部位を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記少なくとも1つの追加のフッ素化モノマーが、ニトリル含有全フッ素化ビニルエーテルである、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーが、ニトリル含有硬化部位を実質的に含まない、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記ラテックスブレンド組成物が、金属を実質的に含まない、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、最大2.185の標準比重を有する、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 前記非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーラテックスが、50nm以上~最大200nmの平均粒径を有する非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーの粒子を含む、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- ラテックスブレンドが、凝集及び乾燥後に、前記フルオロポリマーの重量に基づいて、1000ppb未満のC8~C14フッ素化乳化剤を含む、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンド。
- 均質なペルフルオロポリマーブレンドを製造する方法であって、
非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーラテックスを、半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子の水性分散体とブレンドすることであって、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、1重量%以下の少なくとも1つの追加のフッ素化モノマーを含むテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマーを含み、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、(i)50g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックス(372℃、2.16kgで)を有するか、又は(ii)溶融加工可能ではなく、2.200未満の標準比重を有し、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、100nm超の平均直径を有する、ブレンドすることと、
前記ブレンドを凝固させることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記凝固工程が、酸、高剪断、凍結、及び/又はセラミック及び/又はガラス粒子を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 請求項18又は19に記載の方法から得られたポリマーブレンド。
- ポリマーブレンドが、310℃超かつ325℃未満の溶融温度を有する、請求項20に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- ポリマーブレンドが、500℃以上かつ最高510℃の変曲点温度を有する、請求項20又は21に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- ポリマーブレンドが、310℃未満の少なくとも1つの再結晶温度を有する、請求項20~22のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- 0.1ヘルツの周波数及び100℃でのポリマーブレンドが、450KPa未満の弾性率を有する、請求項20~23のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- ポリマーブレンドが、2.9dNm未満のMLを有する、請求項20~24のいずれか一項に記載のポリマーブレンド。
- (i)非晶質ペルフルオロポリマーラテックスと、(ii)半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子の水性分散体との均質なブレンドを含む硬化性ペルフルオロポリマー組成物であって、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、1重量%以下の少なくとも1つの追加のフッ素化モノマーを含むTFEコポリマーを含み、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、(a)50g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックス(372℃、2.16kgで)を有するか、又は(b)溶融加工可能ではなく、2.200未満の標準比重を有し、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、100nm超の平均直径を有する、硬化性ペルフルオロポリマー組成物。
- 半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子で充填されたペルフルオロポリマーを含む硬化全フッ素化エラストマーであって、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、1重量%以下の第2のフッ素化モノマーを含むテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマーを含み、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、(i)50g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックス(372℃、2.16kgで)を有するか、又は(ii)溶融加工可能ではなく、2.200未満の標準比重を有し、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、100nm超の平均直径を有する、硬化全フッ素化エラストマー。
- 半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子で充填された硬化全フッ素化エラストマーであって、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、1重量%以下の第2のフッ素化モノマーを含むテトラフルオロエチレンコポリマーを含み、前記半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子が、(i)50g/10分未満のメルトフローインデックス(372℃、2.16kgで)を有するか、又は(ii)溶融加工可能ではなく、2.200未満の標準比重を有し、前記充填された硬化全フッ素化エラストマーが、310℃以上~350℃の融点、及び300℃未満の再結晶点を有する、硬化全フッ素化エラストマー。
- フルオロエラストマー物品を製造する方法であって、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載のラテックスブレンドを提供することと、前記ラテックスを凝固させて、固形物ブレンドを形成させることと、前記固形物ブレンドを成形することと、前記成形した固形物ブレンドを硬化させて、前記フルオロエラストマー物品を形成することと、を含む、方法。
- 前記硬化が、300℃より高い温度で実施される、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化が、前記成形した固形物ブレンドを、半結晶性フルオロポリマー粒子の融点よりも高い温度まで加熱することによって実施される、請求項30に記載の方法。
