Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a large liquid tank having a liquid discharge nozzle having a flange structure inside the tank and an airtightness test method for the liquid discharge nozzle.
In production plants such as petrochemical plants, non-ferrous metal smelting plants, and pharmaceutical plants, generally cylindrical tanks are used to temporarily store liquids such as liquid raw materials, auxiliary raw materials, liquid intermediate products, and final products. A storage tank is used. When the liquid received in the storage tank is withdrawn, it is carried out through a liquid extraction nozzle provided at the lower portion of the side wall of the storage tank. When the liquid in the storage tank is extracted from the liquid extraction nozzle, the liquid normally passes through the liquid extraction nozzle at a speed of about several meters per second. Thinning tends to occur in wetted parts. In particular, when the liquid in the storage tank is in the form of slurry, the thickness of the liquid-contacting portion may significantly decrease due to wear. In addition, if the liquid in the storage tank is strongly acidic or strongly basic, the wall of the wetted part may be significantly reduced due to corrosion.
As a result of the thinning of the wetted parts, if the liquid discharge nozzle is perforated and leakage occurs, the liquid in the storage tank may flow out and cause human injury or environmental damage. In some cases, it develops to the stoppage of operation and suffers a great economic loss. In order to prevent such a situation, a storage tank is generally subjected to a leak test to confirm that there is no hole in the liquid discharge nozzle during periodical inspections, in addition to when the tank is newly installed or modified.
The leakage test of the liquid discharge nozzle can be confirmed by, for example, filling the storage tank with water while the valve provided in the piping system connected to the liquid discharge nozzle is fully closed. However, with this leak test method, it is not possible to properly confirm the presence or absence of leaks in a tank storing a liquid having a higher specific gravity than water, such as sulfuric acid. The reason for this is that the pressure (head pressure) applied to the liquid discharge nozzle is proportional to the specific gravity of the liquid. This is because it does not reach the pressure applied to the liquid extraction nozzle when it is stretched. Therefore, it is conceivable to conduct a leak test using sulfuric acid that is used in actual operation, but in this case, there is a risk of leakage of sulfuric acid during the leak test.
An airtightness test can be given as a method of applying pressure to the liquid discharge nozzle during actual operation to check for leakage without the risk of leakage of the liquid used in actual operation. For example,
Further,
By conducting a leak test using the airtightness test methods of
That is, in a typical large liquid tank, the liquid extraction nozzle consists of a cylindrical short pipe with a flange structure at the tip, and protrudes outside the tank at the lower part of the side wall that constitutes the tank body. It is provided by welding. This flange-structured liquid discharge nozzle is generally connected to a discharge line via a first valve such as a butterfly valve or a ball valve. It is designed to be able to cut off the distribution with the line.
When the airtightness test is performed only for the liquid discharge nozzle having the above structure, the outer end of the liquid discharge nozzle can be simply closed by the first valve as described above. The tank end was welded to the side wall of the tank and could not be closed from the outside of the tank. Therefore, first, the operator enters the inside of the tank and welds an iron plate curved along the inner wall surface of the tank to the opening portion of the inner wall portion of the tank where the liquid discharge nozzle is welded, thereby blocking the opening portion of the inner wall portion. I needed it.
In this way, in conventional large liquid tanks, if only the liquid discharge nozzle is to be tested for airtightness, it is necessary to directly weld an iron plate or the like to the base material of the tank from the inside. This could have adverse effects. In addition, each time an airtightness test is performed, welding of the steel plate and removal of the steel plate after the test are required, which has caused a problem of requiring a long time. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and the airtightness test of the liquid discharge nozzle of a large tank for liquid can be easily performed in a short time without adversely affecting the base material of the large tank body due to heat. It is an object of the present invention to provide a large-sized tank having a liquid discharge nozzle with a characteristic structure that can be tested and an airtightness test method for the liquid discharge nozzle.
In order to achieve the above object, a large liquid tank according to the present invention is a large liquid tank having a liquid extraction nozzle with an inner flange structure, wherein the liquid extraction nozzle extends through a side wall of the large liquid tank. It consists of a penetrating cylindrical short pipe portion, and an inner flange is welded to the end portion of the cylindrical short pipe portion on the inside of the tank.
Further, an airtightness test method for a liquid ejection nozzle according to the present invention is an airtightness test method performed on a liquid ejection nozzle of a large liquid tank having an inner flange structure, wherein the inner flange a step of fastening with bolts and nuts a blind flange to which a nitrogen filling jig having a pressure gauge and a shutoff valve is attached; and a step of fully closing the valve connected to the end of the liquid extraction nozzle on the outside of the tank a step of filling the liquid extraction nozzle with nitrogen gas from the nitrogen charging jig; and confirming.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, it becomes possible to easily perform an airtightness test of the liquid discharge nozzle of a large liquid tank in a short time without adversely affecting the base material of the main body due to heat.
EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Hereinafter, embodiment of the large sized tank for liquids which has the liquid extraction nozzle of the flange structure of this invention is described in detail, referring drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a large
On the other hand, a liquid extracting
When checking the presence or absence of leakage from the
That is, in the leak test of the conventional
With this mechanism, with the shutoff valve 17 open, nitrogen gas is introduced from the flexible hose F connected to the
However, in this conventional leakage test method, it is necessary to weld the steel plate to the base material of the tank side wall and remove the steel plate after the test every time the test is performed, and a penetrant inspection is also performed after welding. Because of the necessity, the test required a great deal of time and effort. In addition, there is a possibility that the base material may be adversely affected by heat during welding of the iron plate, and this may be the starting point for the progression of corrosion. For this reason, the conventional leakage test method described above could not be performed many times during inspection and maintenance of the tank.
On the other hand, in the embodiment of the present invention, by using the
With such a configuration, it becomes possible to perform an airtightness test simply and in a short time by the following procedure. That is, first, the
Nitrogen gas is introduced into the
After the above leak test is completed, the flexible tube F is removed from the
Although the airtightness test method for the large tank for liquid and the liquid extraction nozzle thereof according to the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and is within the scope of the present invention. may include various alternatives and modifications. For example, in the above-described
A
A
