Description

The present invention relates to an occupant protection device for protecting an occupant seated on a seat.

Conventionally, as an occupant protection device, there is known a device in which an inflated airbag is arranged on a seat belt to protect an occupant seated on the seat (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this occupant protection device, two seat belts are overlapped on the shared tongue, and the shoulder belt portion and the lap belt portion separated by the tongue portion of each seat belt are on one side of the shoulder belt portion. Alternatively, the lap belt portion is configured to hold an inflatable airbag. Further, although each of the two seat belts is configured to be extended from the retractor, one of the retractors is arranged on the upper end side of the backrest portion and the other is on the side side of the seat portion. Then, at the time of use, the shared tongue is fastened to the retractor and the buckle arranged on the side of the seat on the opposite side in the left-right direction, and the air in the folded state held by the shoulder belt portion of one of the seat belts. The bag was placed on the front side of the occupant's chest, and the folded airbag held by the wrap belt part of the other seat belt was placed on the front side of the waist. When a vehicle collides with the vehicle, each airbag inflates to catch the chest and waist of the occupant and protect the occupant.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2008-290499

However, in the conventional occupant protection device, since the two seat belts are configured to insert the two corresponding insertion holes of the tongue, when the tongue is pulled and fastened to a predetermined buckle, the two seats are used. The belts slide against each other, and due to the frictional resistance of the seat belts, the tensile load of the tongue increases when the tongue is fastened to the buckle, making it difficult to fasten the tongue smoothly. When using such a double-layered belt in common with one tongue, not only when the two belts hold the airbag together, but also only on one belt, the front side of the waist. Even when the airbag that inflates is held, it becomes difficult to smoothly pull the tongue due to the increase in the tensile load. In other words, even if the tongue is connected to the bag belt that holds the airbag together with the normal seat belt, the tensile load is substantially the same as the tensile load of the tongue that is not connected to the bag belt. It is desirable to suppress the increase in.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems, and even if a bag belt and a seat belt holding an airbag are used in common with the tongue, an increase in the tensile load of the tongue can be suppressed and the tongue can be smoothly used. It is an object of the present invention to provide an occupant protection device capable of attaching both belts to an occupant.

The occupant protection device according to the present invention is an occupant protection device that protects an occupant seated on a seat by using a seat belt and an airbag in combination.
The seat belt
On one side of the seat in the left-right direction, the seat can be fed out from a retractor arranged on the upper end side of the backrest portion, and the lower end side is a fixed end fixed to the seat portion side, and the seat on the other side in the left-right direction of the seat. Insert it into the insertion hole of the tongue to be fastened to the buckle arranged on the part side,
The portion extending from the tongue fastened to the buckle toward the retractor side is a shoulder belt portion arranged on the front side of the occupant's chest, and the portion extending from the tongue fastened to the buckle toward the fixed end side is defined as a shoulder belt portion. It is arranged so that it can be used as a wrap belt part arranged on the front side of the occupant's waist.
The airbag is inflatably folded and held by a bag belt extending from the base side of the fixed end side.
The tip of the bag belt extending from the base portion side is connected to the tongue, and is disposed on the upper surface side of the wrap belt portion when the tongue is fastened to the buckle. As a configuration that allows the bag to be placed on the front side of the occupant's chest,
The tongue is shaped like a plate.
A fastening portion that can be fastened to the buckle is provided on the tip side.
A connecting portion for connecting the tip end side of the bag belt is provided on the base portion side.
The insertion hole of the seat belt is arranged between the fastening portion and the connecting portion, and is configured.
The connecting portion of the tongue is arranged on the connecting rod portion around which the loop portion having a through hole is provided in the width direction on the tip end side of the bag belt and the insertion hole side adjacent to the connecting rod portion. It is configured by arranging an insertion opening through which the peripheral wall of the loop portion of the bag belt is inserted.
The tongue is
The front surface side of the peripheral edge of the insertion hole is the shoulder belt portion side of the seat belt, the back surface side of the peripheral edge of the insertion hole is the lap belt portion side of the seat belt, and the seat belt is inserted in the insertion hole. It is configured to be inserted so as to stand by on the upper end side of the backrest portion before the seat belt is pulled.
The portion between the insertion hole and the insertion opening serves as a sliding guide portion having the surface side as the sliding portion of the seat belt.
The sliding guide portion is characterized in that it has a convex shape that rises toward the surface side of the connecting portion and is higher than the surface side of the connecting portion.

In the occupant protection device according to the present invention, when the tongue is pulled and fastened to the buckle so that the occupant is seated on the seat, the tongue is fastened to the buckle with the fastening portion side at the front and the upper end side of the backrest portion. From the standby position, move it horizontally forward and move it downward, or move it diagonally downward from the occupant's shoulder and fasten it to the buckle. At that time, the tongue moves while the seat belt slides on the surface side of the sliding guide portion at the peripheral edge of the insertion hole of the tongue, but the surface side of the sliding guide portion is from the surface side of the connecting portion. Because it is high, the shoulder belt part that slides on the sliding guide part is suppressed from sliding with the bag belt by the height, and the friction due to the mutual sliding between the seat belt and the bag belt. The resistance can be reduced, the increase in the tensile load of the tongue can be suppressed, and the tongue can be fastened to the buckle so that the occupant can smoothly fasten the seat belt and the bag belt. Then, if the tongue is fastened to the buckle, the shoulder belt portion of the seat belt is arranged on the front side of the occupant's chest, the wrap belt portion of the seat belt is arranged on the front side of the occupant's waist, and further for the bag. The belt can be placed on the upper surface side of the lap belt portion, and if the airbag expands due to a vehicle collision or the like, the occupant who moves forward can be moved to the seat belt and the airbag supported by the bag belt. Therefore, it can be accurately received and protected.

Therefore, in the occupant protection device according to the present invention, even if the bag belt and the seat belt holding the airbag are used in common with the tongue, the increase in the tensile load of the tongue can be suppressed and both belts can be smoothly used. Can be attached to the occupant.

Further, in the occupant protection device according to the present invention, the sliding guide portion of the tongue is configured as an inclined surface that raises the front surface side toward the connecting portion side at an angle from the back surface side. desirable.

In such a configuration, when the tongue is pulled when both belts are attached, the seat belt passes through the insertion hole so as to be inserted from the back surface side to the front surface side of the tongue. At that time, the seat belt is provided with a lap belt portion extending toward the fixed end side on the back surface side of the tongue, and a shoulder belt portion extending toward the retractor side on the front surface side of the tongue for sliding guidance. It slides from the tip end side of the fastening portion side to the base portion side of the connecting portion side on the inclined surface on the surface side of the portion. At this time, the surface side of the sliding guide portion is not a curved surface such as a semi-cylindrical shape as a form for ensuring the height of the convex shape, but a planar shape that rises from the tip side toward the base portion side. It is in the form of providing an inclined surface of. Therefore, on a curved sliding surface such as a semi-cylindrical surface for ensuring a convex shape, the seat belt easily slides on almost the entire surface and the sliding resistance increases, but on the flat inclined surface itself, It is difficult for the seatbelt to slide in a state of pressure contact on almost the entire surface, and the seatbelt simply contacts the seatbelt in a linear or strip shape in the width direction at the two edge portions of the tip side and the base side of the inclined surface. It is easy to be in a state, and the tongue can be pulled by suppressing the increase in the tensile load.

In this case, it is desirable that the inclined surface of the sliding guide portion of the tongue is configured so that the inclination angle is within the range of 40 to 60 °.

When the tilt angle is as small as less than 40 °, the seat belt extends from the edge of the insertion hole on the fastening side and from the tip of the tilt surface when the tongue is pulled out downward with the back surface side substantially vertical. It is easy to cause a situation of sliding while making substantially the entire surface of the inclined surface toward the original portion in surface contact, and it is easy to increase the tensile load of the tongue. In addition, if the inclination angle is large so as to exceed 60 °, the inclined surface rises too much and the thickness of the tongue becomes too thick. It becomes necessary to form a wide ceiling surface as if it were cut out substantially parallel to the back surface of the tongue. As a result, when the tongue is pulled out forward, for example, along the back surface side in a substantially horizontal direction, the seat belt makes line contact with the edge portion on the tip side of the inclined surface, but on the base side of the inclined surface. , It slides while making surface contact with the ceiling surface on the base side of the sliding guide portion in a wide range, and at that time, if the inclination angle is large, the area of surface contact that increases the sliding resistance increases. As it spreads, it becomes easier to increase the tensile load of the tongue. Therefore, it is desirable that the inclined surface of the sliding guide portion of the tongue is configured so that the inclined angle is within the range of 40 to 60 °.

In the occupant protection device according to the present invention, where h is the dimension in which the sliding guide portion of the tongue is higher than the surface side of the connecting portion, and t is the thickness dimension of the bag belt. It is desirable that the height is arranged within the range of t <h <3t.

In such a configuration, since the surface of the sliding guide portion is higher than the connecting portion by the thickness dimension of the bag belt or more, the seat belt is moved from the front surface side of the sliding guide portion to the back surface side of the tongue. Even if it extends to the retractor side, it does not easily come into contact with the bag belt wrapped around the connecting part, and it is stable and can reduce the frictional resistance due to mutual sliding between the seat belt and the bag belt, and the tensile load of the tongue. Can contribute to suppressing the increase in. Further, since the sliding guide portion of the tongue is not so high as to exceed three times the thickness of the bag belt, the thickness of the tongue can be reduced, and the vicinity of the sliding guide portion can be gripped to hold the tongue. The tongue can be easily grasped and pulled when pulling out. Further, if the height of the sliding guide portion is suppressed, the area of the ceiling surface on the base side of the sliding guide portion described above can be suppressed, and the increase in the tensile load of the tongue can be suppressed.

Further, in the occupant protection device according to the present invention, it is desirable that the bag belt is arranged by connecting the base side to a retractor capable of paying out the bag belt.

In such a configuration, when the tongue is pulled and fastened to the buckle, the bag belt can be pulled out like a seat belt, and even if it is pulled out too much, it can be pulled in by the retractor, so that the occupant can accurately pull it in. It can be fitted to fit.

Furthermore, in the occupant-occupant protection device according to the present invention, a case having a shape-retaining property in which the folded airbag is stored and the bag belt and the wrap belt portion are inserted and arranged. , Equipped with
The case is
A bottom wall portion for arranging the lap belt portion on the upper surface side when the tongue is fastened to the buckle, and a bottom wall portion.
An intermediate wall portion in which the bag belt at the time of fastening the tongue to the buckle is arranged on the upper surface side and the lap belt portion is arranged on the lower surface side.
A ceiling wall portion arranged so as to face the intermediate wall portion with the bag belt and the folded airbag interposed therebetween.
Arranged so as to connect the bottom wall portion and the ceiling wall portion at both the front and rear edges of the lap belt portion of the bottom wall portion and the bag belt in the width direction when the tongue is fastened to the buckle. Front wall and rear wall to be
Insertion is arranged on both end faces along the insertion direction between the wrap belt portion and the bag belt when the tongue is fastened to the buckle, and the wrap belt portion and the bag belt can be inserted. With the mouth
As well as being configured with
The wrap is formed by setting a portion surrounded by the bottom wall portion, the intermediate wall portion, the front wall portion, and the rear wall portion between both end faces of the case as a space substantially equivalent to the cross-sectional shape of the lap belt portion. An insertion passage through which the belt can be slidably inserted.
The ceiling wall side may be configured as an openable door portion so that the folded airbag protrudes when the airbag is inflated.

In such a configuration, the case for storing the folded air bag has shape retention, and a space substantially equivalent to the cross-sectional shape of the lap belt portion is provided on the bottom wall side to provide the lap belt portion. Since the insertion passage is provided so that it can be slidably inserted, when the tongue is fastened to the buckle, or when the tongue is removed from the buckle and returned to the standby position on the upper end side of the backrest after fastening. The wrap belt portion passes through the insertion passage of the case. At that time, since the insertion passage is configured by providing a space substantially equivalent to the cross-sectional shape of the lap belt portion, the insertion passage is inserted without twisting the lap belt portion. Further, since the bag belt is also in a state of coming out from the insertion openings on both end surfaces of the case on the intermediate wall portion on which the lap belt portion is slid on the lower surface side, the state of overlapping in parallel with the lap belt portion is maintained. Therefore, when the tongue is fastened to the buckle or then the tongue is returned to the standby position on the upper end side of the backrest portion, the wrap belt portion of the seat belt and the bag belt cause an increase in the tensile load of the tongue. It is possible to prevent such a state of twisting and interfering with each other. And, of course, even if the case that houses the folded airbag has a shape-retaining property that allows the lap belt to be smoothly inserted, when the airbag is inflated, the door on the ceiling wall side is opened to open the air. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment is mounted on the seat 1 of the vehicle, and the seat belt 11 and the seat belt 11 The bag belt 20 holding the airbag 65 and the inflator 57 for supplying the expansion gas to the airbag 65 are provided. The seat 1 includes a backrest portion 2 and a seat portion 5.

The seat belt 11 is for restraining the occupant MP seated on the seat 1, and on one side (left side in the embodiment) of the seat 1 in the left-right direction, the upper end 11a side is the upper end 3 of the backrest portion 2. It is possible to feed out from the retractor 15 disposed inside the left edge 3a side, and the lower end 11b side is disposed as a fixed end fixed to the anchor member 17 disposed on the left side portion 6 of the seat portion 5. At the same time, it is arranged so as to be inserted into the insertion hole 39 (see FIGS. 1, 8 to 11) of the tongue 30. The member of reference numeral 18 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a pressing member that allows the belts 11 and 20 to be inserted and holds the belts 11 and 20 so as not to come off from the left side portion 6 of the seat portion 5.

The tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26 disposed on the right side portion 7 of the seat portion 5 on the other side (right side in the embodiment) of the seat 1 in the left-right direction, and the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26. In the seat belt 11 in the folded state, the portion extending from the tongue 30 to the retractor 15 side is the shoulder belt portion 12 arranged on the front side of the chest MB of the occupant MP, and the portion extending from the tongue 30 to the fixed end 11b side is the occupant. It is arranged so as to be used as a lap belt portion 13 arranged on the front side of the waist portion MW of the MP. The buckle 26 is provided with a release button 26a, and the tongue 30 can be removed from the buckle 26 by pressing the release button 26a when the fastened tongue 30 is unfastened.

In the bag belt 20 that stores and holds the airbag 65, the tip 20a extending from the base portion 20b on the fixed end 11b side of the seat belt 11 is wound around the connecting rod portion 36 of the connecting portion 35 described later to be connected to the tongue 30. (See FIGS. 8 to 11). The tip 20a is formed by providing a loop portion 21 that encloses the connecting rod portion 36. The loop portion 21 has a cylindrical shape provided with a through hole 22 penetrating in the width direction of the bag belt 20. The bag belt 20 is arranged on the upper surface side of the lap belt portion 13 when the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26, and the airbag 65 can be arranged on the front side of the chest MB of the occupant MP when the expansion is completed. Is arranged in.

Further, the base portion 20b of the bag belt 20 is connected to the retractor 24 capable of paying out the bag belt 20.

The retractors 15 and 24 connected to the seat belt 11 and the bag belt 20, respectively, stop the withdrawal if there is a sudden withdrawal of the belts 11 and 20, and further withdraw if there is a vehicle collision or the like. It is configured by disposing a pretensioner capable of winding the belts 11 and 20.

Further, the seat belt 11 and the bag belt 20 are formed in a band shape by knitting threads such as polyester, and in the case of the embodiment, the thickness dimension t is 1.2 mm.

As shown in FIG. 5, the airbag 65 includes a bag main body 66 and a conduit portion 71 for allowing the expansion gas from the inflator 57 to flow into the bag main body 66. The bag body 66 and the conduit portion 71 are formed of a flexible woven fabric such as polyester.

The inflator 57 includes a substantially cylindrical inflator main body 58 that discharges expansion gas, and a pipe portion 59 that protrudes from the inflator main body 58 and bends in a substantially L-shape, and is provided with a seat portion 5 of the seat 1. It is mounted and fixed on the rear surface side (see FIGS. 1, 2, and 4). A connecting cylinder portion 72 on the base portion 71a side of the conduit portion 71 of the airbag 65 is externally attached to the pipe portion 59, and further tightened with a clamp 60 to be connected.

When the expansion of the airbag 65 is completed, the bag body 66 expands in a substantially triangular columnar shape when viewed from the side, the bottom wall portion 67 is arranged so as to be in contact with the thigh portion MF of the occupant MP, and the rear wall portion 68 is arranged. The chest MB of the occupant MP is arranged so as to be receptible. The bottom wall portion 67 is opened with an inflow port 67a through which the expansion gas from the conduit portion 71 flows. A vent hole 69 is opened on the side surface side of the bag body 66. When the chest MB side of the occupant MP moves forward, the rear wall portion 68 receives the vicinity of the chest MB, and the bottom wall portion 67 is supported by the thigh MF to secure the reaction force. Since it is possible, the rear wall portion 68 is compressed so as to approach the bottom wall portion 67 side, and the cushioning property is good, and the occupant MP is received and protected.

The conduit portion 71 is provided with a connection cylinder portion 72 connected to the pipe portion 59 of the inflator 57 on the base portion 71a side, and a gas storage portion 74 having an expanded inner diameter is provided at the tip portion 71b away from the base portion 71a. It is composed of. The gas storage unit 74 is provided with a gas outlet 74a that communicates with the inflow port 67a of the bag body 66. The peripheral edge of the gas outlet 74a is connected to the peripheral edge of the inflow port 67a of the bag body 66 by suturing or the like, and the bag body 66 is connected and held to the conduit portion 71. Then, the expansion gas supplied from the inflator 57 is temporarily retained in the gas storage unit 74, passes through the gas outlet 74a and the inflow port 67a, and is prevented from shifting the inflow direction to the left or right, and the bag main body is suppressed. It will flow into 66.

Further, on the outer surface side of the gas storage portion 74 of the conduit portion 71, a belt attachment portion 76 for inserting the bag belt 20 and connecting the airbag 65 to the bag belt 20 is arranged. The belt attachment portion 76 has a tubular shape in which an insertion hole 76a through which the bag belt 20 is inserted is arranged. Then, the belt attachment portion 76 attached to the conduit portion 71 is assembled to the bag belt 20 by inserting the bag belt 20 so that the airbag 65 is held by the bag belt 20. ..

In this airbag 65, the bag body 66 and the conduit portion 71 are folded to a width dimension slightly larger than the width dimension of the bag belt 20, wrapped in the cover 62, and separated from the wrap belt portion 13 in the bag belt 20. It is arranged on the surface 20c side (see FIG. 3).

In the bag belt 20, the tip 20a extending from the original portion 20b side connected to the retractor 24 is connected to the connecting portion 35 of the tongue 30 by using the loop portion 21, and is attached to the buckle 26 of the tongue 30. At the time of fastening, the folded airbag 65 is arranged so as to be located on the upper surface 13a side of the lap belt portion 13 in a state where the folded airbag 65 is arranged on the upper surface 21c side. Therefore, when the bag body 66 of the airbag 65 expands after the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26, the bag body 66 does not interfere with the wrap belt portion 13 or the bag belt 20, and the bag belt 20 does not interfere with the bag belt 20. On the upper surface 21c of the occupant, it expands and can be placed on the front side of the chest MB of the occupant MP.

As shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the tongue 30 has a substantially plate-like shape made of a steel plate or the like, and is provided with a narrow portion 31 having a small width on the tip side and a wide portion 32 having a wide width on the base side. It is supposed to be. The narrow portion 31 is slightly bent from the wide portion 32 to form a fastening portion 33 that can be fastened to the buckle 26. A fastening hole 33a is formed in the fastening portion 33.

The wide portion 32 having a wide width on the base side of the tongue 30 is provided with a connecting portion 35 for connecting the loop portion 21 on the tip 20a side of the bag belt 20 on the end side away from the fastening portion 33. An insertion hole 39 for inserting the seat belt 11 is arranged between the fastening portion 33 and the connecting portion 35.

The connecting portion 35 is arranged on the connecting rod portion 36 around which the loop portion 21 on the tip 20a side of the bag belt 20 is wound and the insertion hole 39 side adjacent to the connecting rod portion 36, and is arranged on the loop portion 21 of the bag belt 20. It is configured by arranging an insertion opening 37 through which the peripheral wall 21a of the above can be inserted.

Further, in the tongue 30, the front surface 43a side of the peripheral edge of the insertion hole 39 is the shoulder belt portion 12 side of the seat belt 11, and the back surface 43b side of the peripheral edge of the insertion hole 39 is the wrap belt portion 13 side of the seat belt 11. The seat belt 11 is inserted into the insertion hole 39.

Before the seatbelt 11 is pulled, the tongue 30 is pressed by the seatbelt 11 pulled by the retractor 15 and is positioned by a positioning protrusion (not shown) provided on the seatbelt 11 to regulate the position of the backrest portion. On the upper end 3 side of 2, the fastening portion 33 is directed forward and the connecting portion 35 is directed backward, and the standby state is set. When the tongue 30 stands by at the standby position WP on the upper end 3 side of the backrest portion 2, the backrest of the bag belt 20 also has the tip 20a side connected to the connecting portion 35 of the tongue 30. It will be arranged on the upper end 3 side of the portion 2.

Further, the tongue 30 has a sliding guide portion 43 in which the portion between the insertion hole 39 and the insertion opening 37 has the surface 43a side as the sliding portion of the seat belt 11. The sliding guide portion 43 has a convex shape (triangular cross section) protruding from the connecting portion 35 toward the surface 43a, and is configured to be higher than the surface 35a side of the connecting portion 35 (see FIGS. 7 and 8).

In the case of the embodiment, the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 has a dimension h higher than the surface 35a side of the connecting portion 35, which is larger than the thickness dimension t of the bag belt 20 and less than three times, that is, t. It is arranged as 2.5 mm, which is more than double within the range of <h <3t.

Further, the sliding guide portion 43 has an inclined surface 46 whose front surface 43a side is angled higher than the back surface 43b side toward the connecting portion 35 side.

In the case of the embodiment, the inclined surface 46 of the sliding guide portion 43 has an inclined angle θ of 50 ° within a range of 40 to 60 °.

The insertion hole 39 of the tongue 30 is an inner peripheral surface 40 that expands on the back surface 43b side of the sliding guide portion 43, and the front and back surfaces of the fastening portion side edge 41 on the inner peripheral surface side portion 40a on the fastening portion 33 side. The angular edges 41a and 41b are arranged on the surface.

Further, at the inner peripheral surface side portion 40b on the inner peripheral surface 40 of the insertion hole 39 on the sliding guide portion 43 side, the tip 44 of the sliding guide portion 43 is arranged, and the angular edges 44a on the front and back sides of the sliding guide portion 43 are arranged. , 44b are arranged. The edge 44a of the surface 43a is the tip 46a of the inclined surface 46.

In the case of the embodiment, the original portion 45 side of the sliding guide portion 43, which is the connecting portion 35 side, is substantially parallel to the back surface 43b so as to suppress the thickness of the thickness dimension H of the sliding guide portion 43. The ceiling surface portion 50 provided with the ceiling surface 50a is used. The boundary portion 48 between the base portion 46b and the ceiling surface 50a separated from the tip 46a of the planar inclined surface 46 is loosely connected by a curved surface. On the base 45 side of the sliding guide portion 43, the insertion opening 37 side of the connecting portion 35 is set to the insertion opening 37 side as a flat end surface 52 from the end edge 50b away from the boundary portion 48 of the ceiling surface portion 50. It is tilted toward it.

In the case of the embodiment, the height dimension H of the sliding guide portion 43 itself is the dimension from the back surface 43b to the ceiling surface 50a of the ceiling surface portion 50, and is set to 8.8 mm. Further, the opening width Wb of the insertion hole 39 is set to 2.6 mm. Further, the thickness dimension T of the wide portion 32 is 3.2 mm, and the angle β from the back surface 43b side of the inner peripheral surface side portion 40a of the insertion hole 39 is 145 °.

In the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment, when the occupant MP sits on the seat 1, the tongue 30 is pulled from the standby position WP and fastened to the buckle 26 so as to wear the seat belt 11. At that time, as shown in the locus A1 shown in FIGS. Move forward and then move downward toward the buckle 26 side, or as shown in FIGS. 4 and 9, with the fastening portion 33 side facing downward and the upper end 3 side of the backrest portion 2. From the standby position WP, it is moved forward in the horizontal direction and then moved downward toward the buckle 26 side to be fastened to the buckle 26. Alternatively, as shown in the locus B1 shown in FIGS. Or diagonally downward from the shoulder opening MS of the occupant MP with the fastening portion 33 side facing downward, and further downward toward the buckle 26 side, as shown in locus B2 shown in FIGS. Move it and fasten it to the buckle 26. At that time, the tongue 30 moves while the seat belt 11 slides on the surface 43a side of the sliding guide portion 43 at the peripheral edge of the insertion hole 39 of the tongue 30, but the surface 43a of the sliding guide portion 43a. Since the side is higher than the surface 35a side of the connecting portion 35, the shoulder belt portion 12 that slides on the sliding guide portion 43 is suppressed from sliding with the bag belt 20 by the height thereof (FIG. FIG. 8), frictional resistance due to mutual sliding between the seat belt 11 and the bag belt 20 can be reduced, an increase in the tensile load of the tongue 30 can be suppressed, and the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26 to allow the occupant MP to seat. The belt 11 and the bag belt 20 can be smoothly attached (see FIG. 3). Then, when the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26, the shoulder belt portion 12 of the seat belt 11 is arranged on the front side of the chest MB of the occupant MP, and the wrap belt portion 13 of the seat belt 11 is placed on the front side of the waist portion of the occupant. Further, the bag belt 20 can be arranged on the upper surface 13a side of the lap belt portion 13, and then the expansion gas is discharged from the inflator main body 58 of the inflator 57 due to a vehicle collision or the like, and the pipe. If the expansion gas flows from the portion 59 through the conduit portion 71 into the bag main body 66 to break the cover 62 and the bag main body 66 of the airbag 65 expands, the occupant MP that moves forward is transferred to the seat belt 11. And the bag body 66 of the air bag 65 supported by the bag belt 20 can be accurately received and protected.

Therefore, in the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment, even if the bag belt 20 holding the airbag 65 and the seat belt 11 are used in common with the tongue 30, the increase in the tensile load of the tongue 30 can be suppressed. , Both belts 20 and 11 can be smoothly attached to the occupant MP.

Then, in the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment, the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 is configured as an inclined surface 46 whose front surface 43a side is extended toward the connecting portion 35 side at an angle from the back surface 43b side. There is.

Therefore, in the embodiment, when the tongue 30 is pulled when both belts 20 and 11 are attached, the seat belt 11 passes through the insertion hole 39 so as to pass through the tongue 30 from the back surface 43b side to the front surface 43a side. At that time, the seat belt 11 has a lap belt portion 13 side extending toward the fixed end 20b on the back surface 43b side of the tongue 30, and a shoulder belt portion 12 side extending toward the retractor 15 side on the front surface 43a side of the tongue 30. Is arranged and slides from the tip 46a side on the fastening portion 33 side to the base portion 46b side on the connecting portion 35 side on the inclined surface 46 on the surface 43a side of the sliding guide portion 43. At this time, the surface 43a side of the sliding guide portion 43 rises from the tip 46a side toward the base portion 46b side without forming a curved surface such as a semi-cylindrical shape as a form for ensuring the height of the convex shape. Such a flat inclined surface 46 is provided. Therefore, on a curved sliding surface such as a semi-cylindrical surface for ensuring a convex shape, the seat belt 11 easily slides on substantially the entire surface thereof, and the sliding resistance increases, but the flat inclined surface 46 itself. Then, it is difficult for the seatbelt 11 to slide in a state of being in pressure contact with the substantially entire surface thereof, and the seatbelt 11 is simply at the two edge portions of the tip 46a side and the base portion 46b side of the inclined surface 46 in the width direction. The tongue 30 can be pulled by suppressing an increase in the tensile load because the contact is likely to occur in a linear or strip shape.

In this case, the inclined surface 46 of the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 is configured with the inclined angle θ set to 50 ° within the range of 40 to 60 °.

That is, when the inclination angle is as small as less than 40 °, for example, when the tongue 30 is pulled out downward along the back surface 43b side in a substantially vertical direction (see locus B2 and FIG. 11 in FIG. 4), the seat belt 11 The tongue 30 is likely to extend from the edge 41b on the fastening portion 34 side of the insertion hole 39, and to cause a situation in which substantially the entire surface of the inclined surface 46 from the tip 46a of the inclined surface 46 to the original portion 46b is in surface contact with each other and slides. It becomes easy to increase the tensile load. Further, if the inclination angle is large so as to exceed 60 °, the inclined surface 46 rises too much and the thickness (height dimension) H of the tongue 30 becomes too thick. It becomes necessary to form a wide ceiling surface 50a such that the vicinity of the top portion is cut off substantially parallel to the back surface 43b of the tongue 30 so as to reduce the size. As a result, when the tongue 30 is pulled out forward, for example, along the back surface 43b side in a substantially horizontal direction (see locus A1 and FIG. 8 in FIG. 4), the seatbelt 11 is on the tip 46a side of the inclined surface 46. Although it makes line contact with the edge 44a portion, it slides on the base portion 46b side of the inclined surface 46 while making surface contact with the ceiling surface 50a on the base portion 45 side of the sliding guide portion 43 in a wide range. At that time, if the inclination angle θ is large, the area of the surface contact that increases the sliding resistance is widened, and it becomes easy to increase the tensile load of the tongue 30. Therefore, in the embodiment, the inclination angle θ of the inclined surface 46 of the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 is set to 50 ° within the range of 40 to 60 °, and the increase in the tensile load of the tongue 30 is suppressed.

Explaining the contact portion of the seatbelt 11 with the tongue 30, in the locus A1 of FIGS. And they are in contact. Further, the seat belt 11 has a certain degree of bending rigidity, cannot be bent by reducing the radius of curvature, and a gap e is generated between the seat belt 11 and the inclined surface 46.

In the locus A2 of FIGS. 4 and 9, the contact A21 near the edge 41b on the fastening portion 33 side of the insertion hole 39, the contact A22 near the edge 41a, the contact A23 near the base 46b of the inclined surface 46, and the ceiling surface portion 50. The contact A24 near the end edge 50b and the contacts A25, A26, and A27 on the outer peripheral side of the bag belt 20 wound around the connecting portion 35 are in contact with each other at seven points.

In the locus B1 of FIGS. 4 and 10, the contact B11 near the tip 46a of the inclined surface 46 and the contact B12 near the base 46b are in contact with each other at two points.

In the locus B2 of FIGS. 4 and 11, the contact B21 near the edge 41b on the fastening portion 33 side of the insertion hole 39, the contact B22 near the edge 41a, the contact B23 near the base 46b of the inclined surface 46, and the ceiling surface portion 50. The contact B24 near the end edge 50b and the contacts B25 and B26 on the outer peripheral side of the bag belt 20 wound around the connecting portion 35 are in contact with each other at six points.

Further, in the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment, the thickness dimension of the bag belt 20 is t, where h is the dimension in which the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 is higher than the surface 35a side of the connecting portion 35. In the case, it is arranged as a height dimension within the range of t <h <3t. In the case of the embodiment, the thickness dimension t is about 1.2 mm, h is about 2.5 mm, and the height is about 2 tons.

Therefore, in the embodiment, the surface 43a of the sliding guide portion 43 is higher than the connecting portion 35 by the thickness dimension t or more of the bag belt 20, so that the seat belt 11 is on the surface 43a side of the sliding guide portion 43. Even if it extends from the tongue 30 to the retractor 15 side along the back surface 43b side, it is difficult to come into contact with the bag belt 20 wound around the connecting portion 35, and the seat belt 11 and the bag belt 20 are stable and mutually. It is possible to reduce the frictional resistance due to the sliding of the tongue, and it is possible to contribute to suppressing the increase in the tensile load of the tongue 30. Further, since the sliding guide portion 43 of the tongue 30 is not so high as to exceed three times the thickness dimension t of the bag belt 20, the thickness (height dimension) H of the tongue 30 can be reduced. When the tongue 30 is pulled out by gripping the vicinity of the sliding guide portion 43, the tongue 30 can be easily gripped and pulled. Further, if the height of the sliding guide portion 43 is suppressed, the area of the ceiling surface 50a on the base portion 45 side of the sliding guide portion 43 described above can also be suppressed, and an increase in the tensile load of the tongue 30 can be suppressed.

Further, in the occupant protection device 10 of the embodiment, the bag belt 20 is arranged by connecting the base portion 20b side to the retractor 24 capable of paying out the bag belt 20.

Therefore, in the embodiment, when the tongue 30 is pulled and fastened to the buckle 26, the bag belt 20 can be drawn out in the same manner as the seat belt 11, and even if the tongue 30 is pulled out too much, it can be pulled in by the retractor 24. , It can be attached so that it fits the occupant MP accurately.

If the above points are not taken into consideration, the base portion 20b side of the bag belt 20 is not connected to the retractor 24, but is connected and fixed to the anchor member 17 or the like in the same manner as the lower end 11b side of the seat belt 11. , May be a fixed end.

Further, in the embodiment, the belt attachment portion 76 connected to the conduit portion 71 of the airbag 65 is attached to the bag belt 20 so that the airbag 65 is held by the bag belt 20, and further, the belt. The configuration in which the folded airbag 65 is wrapped by the cover 62 for each of the mounting portions 76 is shown. However, as shown in FIGS. 12 to 16, when the folded airbag 65 is held by the bag belt 20 by using the case 80 having shape retention, and further, when the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26. It may be configured so as to prevent twisting of the bag belt 20 and the lap belt portion 13 of the seat belt 11 when returning to the standby position WP after fastening.

The case 80 is made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene having shape retention. As shown in FIGS. 12 to 16, the case 80 includes a bottom wall portion 81, a ceiling wall portion 83 arranged so as to face the bottom wall portion 81 in the vertical direction, and a bottom wall portion 81 and a ceiling. It has a box shape including front wall portions 84 and rear wall portions 85 arranged so as to connect front and rear edges 81b and 83a with each other and edges 81c and 83b with each other. Further, in this case 80, the left and right end faces 80b and 80c are lowered from the center 80a in the left-right direction and have a curved box shape so as to fit the upper surface side of the thigh MF of the occupant MP. The case 80 is provided with a storage portion 80d for storing the bag belt 20 and the folded airbag 65 between the intermediate wall portion 82 and the ceiling wall portion 83, which will be described later, and the lower surface of the intermediate wall portion 82. An insertion passage 80e through which the lap belt portion 13 is inserted is provided on the 82b side.

Specifically, the case 80 has a bottom wall portion 81 for arranging the lap belt portion 13 on the upper surface 81a side and a bag belt 20 based on the arrangement state shown in FIG. 12 when the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26. The intermediate wall portion 82 is provided on the upper surface 82a side and the lap belt portion 13 is arranged on the lower surface 82b side. The ceiling wall portion 83 is arranged so as to face the intermediate wall portion 82 with the bag belt 20 and the folded airbag 65 interposed therebetween, that is, the storage portion 80d interposed therebetween. The front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85 connect the bottom wall portion 81 and the ceiling wall portion 83 at both front and rear edges in the width direction of the wrap belt portion 13 of the bottom wall portion 81 and the bag belt 20. It is arranged. Further, the case 80 is arranged on the end face wall portions 86, 87 on the left and right end face 80b, 80c side along the insertion direction (left and right direction in the figure) between the lap belt portion 13 and the bag belt 20. The wrap belt portion 13 and the bag belt 20 are provided with insertion ports 86a and 87a through which the wrap belt portion 13 and the bag belt 20 can be inserted. Each of the insertion ports 86a and 87a is divided into upper and lower portions at the portion of the intermediate wall portion 82, the upper side is the upper opening 86a1 and 87a1 through which the bag belt 20 is passed, and the lower side is the lower opening through which the wrap belt portion 13 is passed. It is set to 86a2 and 87a2.

Further, in this case 80, the portion surrounded by the bottom wall portion 81, the intermediate wall portion 82, the front wall portion 84, and the rear wall portion 85 between the left and right end faces 80b and 80c is the cross-sectional shape of the lap belt portion 13. The space 88 is substantially equivalent to the above-mentioned insertion passage 80e through which the lap belt portion 13 is slidably inserted.

The front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85 are intermittently arranged along the upper main body portions 84a and 85a for accommodating the bag belt 20 and the airbag 65 and the lower side in the left-right direction. A leg portion 84b, 85b composed of an assembly engaging portion 97, which will be described later, and a leg portion having a gap 84c, 85c between the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85 at the portion of the insertion passage 80e. It is configured to be formed of portions 84b and 85b.

Further, in this case 80, the ceiling wall portion 83, the upper side (main body portion 84a, 85a side) of the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85, the intermediate wall portion 82, and the insertion ports on both end faces 80b, 80c side are inserted. The upper peripherals of 86a and 87a are formed, and the upper member 95 forming the storage portion 80d and the lower side (leg portions 84b, 85b side) of the bottom wall portion 81, the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85. ), And a lower member 96 constituting the lower peripheral edges of the insertion ports 86a and 87a on both end faces 80b and 80c. On the front and rear edges of the upper member 95 and the lower member 96, an assembly engaging portion 97 that can be engaged with each other to assemble the case 80 is arranged. The assembling engaging portion 97 is provided on the lower member 96 and protrudes in the front-rear direction, and the engaging protrusion 97b is provided on the upper member 95 and protrudes while bending in the front-rear direction. It is composed of an engaging recess 97a that covers and locks the surface from the outside. A plurality (three in the example) of these assembling engaging portions 97 are arranged in the vicinity of both the front and rear edges of the upper member 95 and the lower member 96 along the left-right direction. As described above, these assembling engaging portions 97 constitute the lower leg portions 84b and 85b of the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85, and the upper member 95 is the leg portion 84b. , 85b is provided with an engaging recess 97a of the assembling engaging portion 97, and the lower member 96 is provided with an engaging projection 97b of the assembling engaging portion 97 constituting the legs 84b, 85b. Become.

Then, with the lap belt portion 13 mounted on the upper surface 81a of the portion constituting the bottom wall portion 81 of the lower member 96, the lower member 96 is applied from below the upper member 95 and slides in the left-right direction. Then, when the engaging protrusion 97b is engaged in each engaging recess 97a, the engaging recess 97a constituting the assembly engaging portion 97 and the engaging protrusion 97b are engaged with each other, and the upper member is engaged. The case 80 is assembled in a state where the 95 and the lower member 96 are mutually assembled and the lap belt portion 13 is slidably housed in the insertion passage 80e.

Further, the case 80 is configured as a door portion 91 that can be opened on the ceiling wall portion 83 side so that the folded airbag 65 protrudes when the airbag 65 is inflated. The door portion 91 is provided with a hinge portion 92 made of an integral hinge that is the center of rotation of the door portion 91 on the rear wall portion 85 side of the upper member 95 on the rear edge 83b side of the ceiling wall portion 83, and the ceiling wall portion 83 is provided. On the front wall portion 84 side of the upper member 95 on the front edge 83a side, a door engaging portion 93 that is engaged with the front wall portion 84 side so as to be released when the airbag 65 is inflated is provided. And are arranged. A plurality (five in the example) of the door engaging portions 93 are arranged along the left-right direction, and the engaging projections 93b are arranged so as to project forward toward the front wall portion 84, respectively. It is provided on the door portion 91 side and is composed of an engaging ring portion 93a for inserting and locking the engaging protrusion 93b.

Then, the door engaging portion 93 projects the bag belt 20 from the upper openings 86a1, 87a1 of the left and right insertion openings 86a, 87a toward the upper surface 82a side of the intermediate wall portion 82 in the open door portion 91. The folded airbag 65 is housed, the door portion 91 is closed, the engaging protrusion 93b is inserted into the engaging ring portion 93a, and the engaging ring portion 93a and the engaging protrusions constituting the door engaging portion 93 are inserted. When the 93b is engaged, the door portion 91 is engaged, and the folded airbag 65 and the bag belt 20 are stored in a state where the bag belt 20 is projected from the upper openings 86a1, 87a1. It can be stored in 80d.

Even if the ceiling wall portion 83 has a curved shape in which the center 80a is higher than the left and right end faces 80b and 80c, the door portion 91 is divided so as to be smoothly opened, that is, along the left-right direction. A plurality of thin-walled thin-walled fractured portions 94 arranged side by side in the front-rear direction and in the left-right direction are arranged on the lower surface side so as to be opened. In the case of the example, a total of four fractured portions 94 are arranged between the door engaging portions 93. Therefore, when the door portion 91 opens with the hinge portion 92 as the center of rotation as the airbag 65 expands, each of the planned breakage portions 94 is broken and opened as five divided bodies 91a (FIG. FIG. See 12 two-dot chain line).

When arranging the case 80 on the seat belt 11, first, the bag body 66 to which the conduit portion 71 is connected is folded in advance and wrapped with a breakable tape-shaped wrapping material 99 so as not to collapse. In that state, the bag belt 20 is projected from the upper openings 86a1,87a1 of the insertion ports 86a, 87a of the left and right end face wall portions 86, 87, and the base portion 71a side of the conduit portion 71 is the left end. When the door portion 91 on the upper member 95 side is closed by projecting from the upper opening 86a1 of the insertion port 86a of the face wall portion 86, the folded airbag 65 and the bag belt 20 are stored in the storage portion 80d of the case 80. can do.

The bag body 66 of the folded airbag 65 is housed in the storage portion 80d of the case 80, and even if the bag belt 20 is displaced on the upper surface 82a of the intermediate wall portion 82, the end face wall portions 86, 87 The positions are restricted by the peripheral edges 86b and 87b of the insertion ports 86a and 87a, and the positions are restricted so as not to pop out from the storage portion 80d. Further, the folded bag body 66 is a case in which the bag belt 20 is pressed against the upper surface 82a side of the intermediate wall portion 82, and the bag body 66 and the tip portion 71b of the conduit portion 71 are stored by the pressure contact force thereof. 80 is held by the bag belt 20 together with the airbag 65. However, the bag belt 20 is only pressed against the intermediate wall portion 82 side by the folded bag main body 66, and the insertion ports 86a and 87a are inserted into the case 80 and are relatively displaced. It is possible. Therefore, when the bag belt 20 is arranged together with the wrap belt portion 13 on the front side of the waist portion MW of the occupant MP by using the tongue 30, the center 80a in the left-right direction of the case 80 is the center of the front of the occupant MP. It is possible to adjust the case 80 by shifting it with respect to the bag belt 20 so that the case 80 is arranged in the bag belt 20.

Then, after the folded air bag 65 and the bag belt 20 are stored in the storage portion 80d, the lap belt portion 13 extending from the tongue 30 is arranged on the lower surface 82b side of the intermediate wall portion 82, and further, the wrap belt From below the portion 13, the lower member 96 constituting the bottom wall portion 81 is brought closer to the upper member 95, and the engaging recess 97a and the engaging protrusion 97b of the mutual assembly engaging portions 97 are engaged with each other. By assembling the lower member 96 to the upper member 95, the case 80 provided with the insertion passage 80e can be assembled, and the lap belt portion 13 can be slidably stored in the insertion passage 80e. can.

Such assembly will be performed on the seat 1, and the base portion 71a of the conduit portion 71 is connected to the pipe portion 59 of the inflator 57 by using the clamp 60, and the tongue 30 is connected to the backrest portion 2. It is arranged on the standby position WP side on the upper end 3 side.

Then, when the occupant MP seated on the seat 1 fastens the tongue 30 to the buckle 26 so as to fasten the seat belt 11, and then releases the fastening and returns to the standby position WP side, the lap belt portion 13 slides in the insertion passage 80e of the case 80 to prevent twisting.

That is, in the occupant protection device 10A provided with such a case 80, the case 80 for accommodating the folded air bag 65 has shape retention, and the cross section of the lap belt portion 13 is on the bottom wall portion 81 side. Since the space 88 having substantially the same shape as the shape is provided and the insertion passage 80e through which the lap belt portion 13 is slidably inserted is provided, the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26, or after the fastening, the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26. When the tongue 30 is removed from the buckle 26 and returned to the standby position WP on the upper end 3 side of the backrest portion 2, the lap belt portion 13 passes through the insertion passage 80e of the case 80. At that time, since the insertion passage 80e is configured by providing a space 88 substantially equivalent to the cross-sectional shape of the lap belt portion 13, the lap belt portion 13 does not twist and inserts the insertion passage 80e. Further, the bag belt 20 is also in a state of coming out from the insertion ports 86a and 87a of both end faces 80b and 80c of the case 80 on the upper surface 82a of the intermediate wall portion 82 on which the lap belt portion 13 is slid on the lower surface 82b side. Therefore, the state of overlapping in parallel with the lap belt portion 13 is maintained. Therefore, when the tongue 30 is fastened to the buckle 26, or after that, when the tongue 30 is returned to the standby position WP on the upper end 3 side of the backrest portion 2, the lap belt portion 13 of the seat belt 11 and the bag belt 20 come together. , A state in which the tongue 30 is twisted and interferes with each other, which causes an increase in the tensile load, can be prevented. And, of course, even if the case 80 containing the folded airbag 65 has a shape-retaining property that allows the lap belt portion 13 to be smoothly inserted, when the airbag 65 is inflated, the door portion 91 on the ceiling wall portion 83 side is formed. Can be opened to smoothly project the bag body 66 of the airbag 65 (see the two-dot chain line in FIGS. 12 and 14).

Further, the case 80 is formed of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, and is inserted into the ceiling wall portion 83, the upper side of the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85, the intermediate wall portion 82, and both end faces 80b and 80c sides. The upper member 95 constituting the upper peripheral edge of the openings 86a and 87a, the lower side of the bottom wall portion 81, the front wall portion 84 and the rear wall portion 85, and the insertion ports 86a and 87a on both end faces 80b and 80c sides. It is composed of a lower member 96 constituting the lower peripheral edge. Then, an assembly engaging portion 97 capable of assembling the case 80 by engaging with each other is arranged on the front and rear edge sides of the upper member 95 and the lower member 96. Further, the door portion 91 is provided with a hinge portion 92 formed of an integral hinge which is the center of rotation of the door portion 91 on the rear wall portion 85 side of the upper member 95, and an airbag is provided on the front wall portion 84 side of the upper member 95. A door engaging portion 93, which is engaged with the portion on the front wall portion 84 side so as to be disengaged when the 65 is expanded, is provided and arranged.

Therefore, in such a configuration, the case 80 is made of synthetic resin having shape retention, and has the upper member 95 on the intermediate wall portion 82 side for accommodating the bag belt 20 and the bag body 66 of the airbag 65. It is configured as two parts, the lower member 96 on the bottom wall portion 81 side on which the lap belt portion 13 slides, and the corresponding assembling engaging portion 97 between the upper member 95 and the lower member 96. Once engaged, the case 80 can be easily assembled. Further, if the door portion 91 disposed on the upper member 95 also engages with the corresponding door engaging portion 93 of the door portion 91 side and the front wall portion 84 side, the folded airbag 65 can be obtained. The door can be smoothly stored in the case 80, and when the airbag 65 is inflated, the corresponding door engaging portions 93 of the door portion 91 side and the front wall portion 84 side are engaged with each other. The door portion 91 can be smoothly opened and the bag body 66 of the airbag 65 can be projected from the case 80 by bending the hinge portion 92 made of the integral hinge.

In the case 80 of the figure, the case where the center 80a is curved higher than the left and right end faces 80b and 80c sides is shown, but as shown in FIG. 17, the center 80a is the left and right end faces 80b and 80c sides. A rectangular parallelepiped case 80A may be used as the same height. In such a configuration, since the door portion 91 is not curved, the hinge portion 92 extending linearly in the left-right direction is bent when the door portion 91 is opened, so that the door portion 91 can be smoothly opened.

Further, in the case 80 of the example, the hinge portion 92 made of an integral hinge is provided to dispose the door portion 91, but the door portion 91 is not provided, but the front and rear edges 83a and 83b of the ceiling wall portion 83 are provided.
