Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年7月31日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/712,596号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その全開示は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
メルトインデックス(MI)を、2160グラムの重量を使用するASTM D−1238を使用して測定する。
耐クリープ性は、時間、温度、および荷重重量(応力)の関数である。簡単な試験を採用して、MAMEがある場合とない場合の様々な金属カチオンで中和されたジカルボン酸コモノマーMAMEがある場合とない場合のアイオノマーの耐クリープ性を区別した。クリープ試験は、試験片ホルダーを保持するためのシェルフラックを備えたクロスフローエアオーブンで、死荷重に取り付けられたフィルム試験片の寸法変化(垂直)を測定することによって実施した。クリープ試験は、圧縮成型フィルムから切り出された、厚さ10ミル、幅1インチ、および長さ3インチのプレス成型フィルムストリップで実行した。フィルムは、100℃に初期設定されたオーブンで100グラムの死荷重で吊るした。フィルム試験片の変形は、オーブン中で30分後に測定した。次いで、オーブン温度を120℃に上げて試験した。
表2に要約されているように、結果は、E/MAA/MAMEターポリマーおよびE/MAAコポリマーの両方の様々なアイオノマーサンプルのブレンドである。ブレンドは、混合スクリューを備えた26mm二軸押出機で、220℃〜250℃の溶融温度を使用して調製した。クリープ温度は、110グラムの荷重下でフィルムが25%のひずみの変形に達した際に定義される。
Claims (7)
- エチレン酸コポリマーを含むアイオノマーであって、
前記エチレン酸コポリマーが、
エチレンと、
前記エチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸モノマーと、
前記エチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜15重量%の不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーと、の重合反応生成物を含み、
前記エチレン酸コポリマーの総酸単位の10〜70モルパーセントが、マグネシウムカチオンによって中和され、
前記アイオノマーが、100℃の温度での20psiの応力下で30分間にわたって、25%未満の寸法変化を示す、アイオノマー。 - 第1のエチレン酸コポリマーおよび第2のエチレン酸コポリマーを含むアイオノマーであって、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマーが、
エチレンと、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸と、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜40重量%のアクリル酸アルキルと、の重合反応生成物であり、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーが、
エチレンと、
第2のエチレン系ポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜20重量%のモノカルボン酸と、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、0〜40重量%のアクリル酸アルキルと、
前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマー中に存在するモノマーの総重量%に基づいて、2〜15重量%の不飽和ジカルボン酸モノマーと、の重合反応生成物であり、
前記第1のエチレン酸コポリマーと前記第2のエチレン酸コポリマーとの比率が、90/10重量%〜10/90重量%であり、
総酸単位の少なくとも70モルパーセントが、中和され、ブレンドの総酸単位の10〜70モルパーセントが、マグネシウムカチオンによって中和される、アイオノマー。 - 前記モノカルボン酸モノマーが、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、またはそれらの組み合わせのうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1または2に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ジカルボン酸が、無水マレイン酸、無水マレイン酸モノメチルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノエチルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノプロピルエステル、無水マレイン酸モノブチルエステル、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ブレンドが、Zn、Li、およびNaからなる群から選択される少なくとも1つの追加の金属カチオンでさらに中和される、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記ブレンドの総酸単位が、10〜80モルパーセントの範囲で中和され、前記ブレンドの総酸単位の20〜60モルパーセントが、マグネシウム塩の前記マグネシウムカチオンで中和される、請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載のアイオノマー。
- 前記アクリル酸アルキルが、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸n−ブチルもしくはアクリル酸イソブチル、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のアイオノマー。
